Being my daughter's first time in daycare, I was initially apprehensive. But our experience with Windhaven allayed all my fears and worries. She totally loves it here and she is always so excited to go to school. They genuinely take good care of her. She is so comfortable and relaxed in school.
She started at 16 months and she was a picky eater but now her eating habit has improved a great deal. The school offers healthy organic food so you are rest assured that your babies are eating clean and healthy.

I also love that they keep us updated on the app of her daily activities, sleep time, lesson time, food and pictures of activities etc. She is 23 months now and has learnt a whole lot. Her teachers in both her 12-18m and 18-24m classes, Ms. Shelby and Ms. India, were really great and attentive. The owner is also a mother of two young kids. She is always available and...

I hardly leave reviews, but My 4 year old attended this daycare for almost a year and when he first started he was very behind on his speech. He was only there for 8months and his speech improved dramatically! The facility is very nice and clean, the staff was always communicative and answered all questions quickly and his teacher (Ms. Kayla) was very on point (he misses her and the friends he made very much). Unfortunately, we moved and could no longer attend the daycare/pre-school (too far), but I highly recommend it as a great environment to have their child both learn and be cared for.

Best daycare EVER! My boys have been attending for almost two months now and they LOVE it!! My 4 year old has already learned to write his name, knows all of his vowel sounds and so much more! Everyday he’s so excited to tell me what he’s learned in Ms. Emilys class. My 2 year old is now just a little chatter box and loves to sing lol! Before he attended Windhaven he wasn’t speaking much at all. Also Ms. Matie is helping us potty train 🙌🏽 which I’m soo thankful for! My kids went to another daycare before Windhaven and it wasn’t bad but compared to Windhaven this school is just unmatched!!! Excellence from top to bottom! When I first inquired about this school I spoke to Assia on the phone and in person, I could immediately tell that she was so passionate about her school takes pride in it! Ms Kayla is my sons teacher and she is the best 🥰 he comes home talking about her all the time! She is attentive and nurturing. We love Ms Kayla 😘

Pros include communication, healthy menu and full day of activities. My son comes home exhausted but in the best way. His teacher sends us lots of updates, photos and videos throughout each day showing just how much fun he has there.

My son loved this school! This was his first preschool experience and there was absolutely no tough transition. His teacher, Miss Haley, was so sweet and kind. The owner is a mother to two young children and understands what makes a good preschool. I felt very safe dropping my son off there every day, they have great procedures in place.

Love my baby’s school! My daughter has been attending now for about a year. It was her first school experience so of course we were a bit nervous. Contrary to our hesitations, my child absolutely loves her school. She is greeted with warmth every single morning. Her teachers are super kind and most certainly teach her well. She has learned a number of impressive things that I most certainly did not teach her. Best of all, they have a gardening class, soccer class and an outdoor splash pad that the kids get to enjoy every Friday known as Splash Pad Friday. All that to say, we love Windhaven academy and would recommend to any parent!

Our son tells us EVERY day when we pick him up how much fun he has and how much he loves his new school. The administration and teachers at Windhaven go above and beyond and take such great care of our kids.

This was our daughter's first school to go to (1 year old) and I was nervous about her not being with us and my goodness they do a better job than I do! We get constant updates on their app with pictures and what they're doing through out the day and I just couldn't recommend Windhaven Academy more!

I have invested a lot of my time in going through the reviews of almost all daycares in West Plano area, so I know how important it is to provide the right information and so this lengthy post.
To start with, the primary reason for choosing Windhaven academy was that all the information provided by the Owner Assia during our initial enquiries were convincing and what we were looking for. Basically, we wanted a daycare with a smaller class size and is safe.

We toured 4-5 daycares in this area and only Windhaven and Primrose did the virtual tour when kids were on the campus and all others invited us(the strangers) to visit their center. I recently moved my toddler from another daycare to Windhaven and the progress I've seen in my son in the one month he's been at Windhaven is admirable. He is more interactive, less agitated, and more willing to learn new things. I truly believe it's the combination of patience, lots of love and cuddles the teachers and staff shower on the children, and them being able to identify what makes each child tick and uses that to help them learn. The value for what we get is above and beyond- organic food, indoor gym for rainy days, library, splash pad for summer days, multiple playgrounds, tricycles to ride around, tons of pics and being able to text their teachers all day long via the app, plus the curriculum they use is top notch for a very reasonable tuition.

My daughter was in the best hands of care while attending. I could not express how important it is for me to have open and direct communication with the staff. There was never a time I ever had to wait on details regarding my child. They remained reliable to us throughout the entire time we attended Windhaven. I love this school and the Teachers. We are Family and that’s what made it so comfortable leaving my child in their care

We have thoroughly enjoyed our first week! Our daughter has a noticeable demeanor improvement and jovial presence now. The intuitive software updates are great and the organic food is doing wonders for her. The staff is genuinely concerned and connected. We are happy customers.

I can't say enough positive things about this place. My son is both happy and excited to attend each day. The teachers and staff are wonderful. I've never had a bad experience and would highly recommend sending your child here.

My family absolutely LOVES Windhaven academy! Leaving your child with anyone at all is scary, but as a mom I feel so good dropping my 20 month old off because I can tell he is so happy and loves being there! Assia, the owner, is so genuine, thorough, and really cares about the quality of care her team provides! She is passionate about what our kids eat and I love that! They don’t serve juices, sugary snacks, or snacks with artificial preservatives and colors. This was so important to me and we really appreciate that! My baby LOVES his teacher Miss India, and he has learned so much since he started there. In the last two weeks he went from saying 3-5 words to saying around 15-20 bc he loves to repeat her. We have tried other daycare/pee school environments and basically were never leaving this one.

Currently working for Windhaven Academy as a Toddler teacher! & let me tell you it has been a blessing. I wake up ready every morning ready to get to work. We have a loving, caring group of staff that are ready to care and love your children as our own.
Mrs.Assia owner of Windhaven is AWESOME! Very professional in every level. She makes it easy to work and communicate with. The love and focus she has for every teacher, kid and school is incomparable. Along side with Mrs.Tamara our wonderful director who thrives for success and who I can also rely on for anything. Windhaven is a true definition of FAMILY. And I don’t see myself working for any other school!

We love this daycare for our Daughter. We felt so welcomed from the first day we came to Register. The location, the space, the food, and the personal are amazing. I would recommend this daycare to anyone. Our baby had never been in daycare before, and now loves it here. She was able to adapt within few days.

I am forever grateful that I found this wonderful daycare. When I pick up and drop off my sweetheart, I know she is in good hands. She is learning a lot and having so much fun. I am kept informed with thorough note taking through the app and so many pictures, I feel like I am right there with her! Windhaven Academy has the same values and goals for my daughter that I have for her which makes them an even better fit than I thought possible. I appreciate that strict guidelines are followed in regards to COVID so that I know my child, myself and my family are safe. And the owner Assia, is present and definitely holds herself accountable to make sure her school is the best school it can be. I could not be happier! It was a blessing to find this wonderful school filled with wonderful teachers!

I can not say enough good things about Windhaven. This is an extremely clean and well structured learning center for kids. The owner Ms. Assia is very responsible and nice. She gives each child personal attention. The director Ms. Tamara makes a really welcoming atmosphere for kids and parents. They have a structured schedule and activities planned for each day. The teachers put there time and souls on the line for other families. Their food menu is healthy and organic. Thank you Ms Assia for the App! We are able to see pictures of our kids and what they are doing throughout the day. Highly recommend it!

I had my first baby in December 2019 and as you can imagine I dreaded the idea of my baby going to daycare but after my first visit I knew I found the best place for my son. The staff is amazing they communicate so well with me and keep me updated about how my son is progessing each day. They have always been so clean so when Covid happened they didn't miss a beat and made sure my baby's health was top priority . Windhaven is the exact type of day care where I feel happy to drop off my son as if I'm leaving him with family. He has progressed so well not to mention he loves it here. Love love love this place.
