Windhaven Academy

Our son has been attending this school for about 8 months now, and I’m so grateful for this school. They have fantastic teachers! Ms. Nikki, Ms. Maddie and Ms. Izzy are phenomenal. You can tell they love what they do. From the Director to Manager and teachers all through out, they are personable, kind and welcoming. My family has had an amazing experience here. I highly recommend this place!

We have been sending our daughter to Windhaven for the past year and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely care about the kids. She loves the fun activities they plan every day, and we’ve noticed a huge improvement in her social skills. Special shoutout to the friendly staff and admin team for always making her feel so comfortable and excited to learn! They keep us updated with daily reports on her progress. We highly recommend

We've sent both of our children (and will soon send a third!) to Windhaven Academy. Our experience has been wonderful, especially in the older infant classroom. Ms. Djamila really loves her students and took so much time helping our toddler adjust and transition from the "baby" to "toddler" stage. He tries all kinds of new foods now because of her! I know our son misses her and Ms. Taryn now that he's in the young toddler class.

The summer camp hours are also very conducive to households where both parents work outside the home. Our elementary school aged daughter spent last summer there and it was a great relief to know we had one drop off location for both kids. Additionally, the school offers two square meals and plenty of snacks for the kids, so I never have to worry about packing lunches.

Moving my daughter to Windhaven was the best decision we made. The entire staff are very professional, awesome and so genuine. It’s very easy to communicate with the front office and directly with her teacher. The structure and organization is what we were looking for. I couldn't ask for better caretakers for my child. Ms.Bailey loves her and treat her as her own and every morning she wakes up super excited to go.

Such a great school. I was having a hard time sending my youngest to a different school from where my older son went. The teachers and the staff at Windhaven academy make you feel so welcome and genuinely love your kids. Ms. Mikayla and Ms Kennedy have been so wonderful with my son; warm, caring, and truly care about his learning. I am so happy I chose this school for my son’s early childhood education.

Excellent care for the kiddos here!

My nephew goes here and loves going to school! I have never heard mom or dad complain about his safety or education here. It speaks volumes when a toddler wants to tell you about his friends and teacher outside of school hours.

My Grandson loves his school . The school has played a big part in his development and so thankful for them and their staff .Windhaven Academy is the very best out there.

We have recently changed to Windhaven from another daycare. My husband and I have been blown away by the care our son has received. Summer is an amazing director! Ms. Mai is always checking in on our kiddo from an admin role. We love our teachers Ms. Leila and Ms. Alyssa!!

Update August 2024:
We continue to love this school, the teachers, and the Windhaven community.

My older son loves Ms. Kaelyn‘s class. He loves the engaging curriculum and has really opened up. There’s structured time, outdoor time, and free play every day. He especially loves show and tell on Fridays!

My younger son loves Ms. Bailey and Ms. Cassandra’s class. He is so happy going in every day. I’m so impressed with how they are able to bring so much organization to a class of 1.5-2 year olds. Every time we walk in, the toddlers are calmly engaged in activities. Ms. Bailey and Ms. Cassandra bring so much love into the classroom every day. They’ve also very kindly and patiently worked with us to meet our son’s needs.

Thank you Windhaven staff for making our sons feel so loved and secure every day.

We became members of the Windhaven community September of 2023. Our daughter was almost 2 and had stayed at home with me up until that point, so her separation anxiety was pretty extreme. The staff was nothing short of incredible; they made me and my daughter feel so at ease. Now almost a year later, she absolutely loves school! Our 6 month old son has also been attending for the past 3 months and is always smiles, meeting his milestones and is even a better sleeper since starting. The staff does a great job of giving updates, sending pictures and videos through the app; which is so reassuring. The front desk staff is always warm and friendly and set a great tone for the day. I love this place so much! The director, the front staff, and the teachers are so welcoming and friendly. They always step it up with their events and bring in special surprises for the kids. Everything is done so professionally, the food is tasty and healthy, and everything is so well organized. There is very little teacher turnover and there’s a good reason for that! My only complaint is that it doesn’t go beyond preschool. We will miss everyone!

Ms. Janell, Angela, Chianna, Beverly and the team at Windhaven create such a caring environment that our little one is all smiles everyday at drop off and pick up. It is very clear to us that our little one has been able to consistently achieve her milestones because of the great effort from her teachers in the infant non-mobile room. We are so very thankful!

My little girl has been going here for a little over 2 years now. All the staff is so sweet and kind. The admin staff acknowledges all the kids by name when they arrive. It’s such a warm welcoming place. The director an owner are incredibly nice and will always go above and beyond. My family loves this school so much. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Ms. Bailey and Ms. Cassandra have been great as our child transitioned to Windhaven. They are both very interactive with the kids and Ms. Bailey does a wonderful job of keeping us updated on how our child is doing.

Windhaven Academy and owner Assia are great! It’s rare to find daycares where the owners are personally involved, let alone on location most of the time like Assia is. And if it can’t get any better, her own kids attend her daycare. For me, that has huge repercussions on how the business is run, because every business decision is not only driven by cash flow & profitability, but also by the fact that her own children attend the facility. Assia & staff are great, and the app Brightwheel is a total game changer if you are coming from a daycare without one. I hope my daughter continues to thrive at Windhaven Academy for many years. Ms. Sarah in early preschool is great with the kids and always has a cheerful attitude!

I moved my two year-old son from another school a year ago and the change was absolutely the right choice. The facilities are bright, clean and designed for practical use from an actual mom, owner Assia. Change is always uneasy, especially when it's a decision about your child. From the first day, I respected Ms. Nia for not only building a relationship with my son, but also with the parents. Under her watch, I witnessed my son begin to retain things such as the songs they sang and tell me about books the class read together. He is excited for school because I believe Ms. Nia has created a thriving environment and encourages kids to learn, be creative and interact with others. I appreciate Windhaven incorporating life lessons outside of the educational curriculum such as using manners, sharing and washing hands.
