This place has been the greatest blessing to me and my family. As most moms, I struggled to find a daycare that felt like a right fit for my child. I toured a lot of daycares and could not find the right fit. Once I toured Windhaven I immediately knew that it was the right place. The staff is so warm and welcoming. They keep you updated and informed throughout the day with notes and photos. The place is SO CLEAN. All the teachers are SO knowledgeable, accommodating and make you feel like your kid is the only kid in the class. My son started here in August of 2023 and as first time mom it is scary to leave your kid at daycare but the staff here make me feel so at ease. My son has absolutely THRIVED here and I am indebted to the teachers and staff at Windhaven (Janell Owens, Angela Yerena, Natalie Neblett, Euna Jeong, Beverly Sharir, and SO MANY OTHERS)

As a parent and employee of Windhaven I have to share how much we LOVE Windhaven! Mrs. Janell and Mrs. Angela are so loving to my baby boy it makes me feel so much better knowing he’s safe, happy and cared for! Mrs. Assia continues to show how much she cares for the kids here at Windhaven with healthy meals, being onsite most of the time and the way she cares for her employees and students! Windhaven offers a level of care that other daycares simply can’t and we love it here!

There is so much to say… Windhaven Academy has given this first time mom so much support, security, and comfort! My daughter started attending at 5 months old and Ms. Janell and Ms. Angela made my transition back to work and my daughter’s experience wonderful. I trust all the staff and they do a wonderful job taking care of all the children. Now that my daughter is in Ms. Natalie’s and Ms. Euna’s class she continues to increase her development and loves playing with her friends. She even gets super excited to see them every morning! Thank you all for making my husband and I comfortable and life easier! You all are the best!

Of the 6 childcare centers that my kids have attended over the last 7 years, Windhaven Academy was by far the best facility we had the pleasure of attending. Starting with the director/owner, Assiah. She brought her vision to life in the childcare. It is clean, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully structured for parents. She is warm and nurturing with the kids but holds a very strong level of professionalism, which I greatly appreciated. Many of the caregivers are also parents, and it shows. They give the children love and comfort as if they were their own. There are many activities and visitors hosted at the school to keep the curriculum engaging and fresh for the kids. They post frequent updates to the child’s daily journal, complete with cute pictures and personal notes from the teacher. I've been at Windhaven Academy for about two years and it has been a great experience. The teachers and the admin staff really do love the kids. We have had unfortunate experiences with two daycare centers prior to starting here and I've never been nervous or uncomfortable when I drop my daughter off here. They respond in a timely manner to all communication and they keep us updated consistently on the app. Whenever I've had any type of question or concern, it has been addressed immediately and I've been satisfied with the actions/responses. I know my daughter is safe and cared for here.

As a parent and employee I can safely say this is a great place to work and have your child be! Ms. Nia and Ms. Bri have given so much love to my baby and myself. My daughter has grown so much being at this school and I am so happy I found an amazing place for her to develop! India & Assia have made it an amazing environment for us employees and parents. The communication through the app and organic sugar free everything was a life changer! Shoutout to windhaven 🥳

My son had a great time at Windhaven Academy for summer camp. They maintained great structure, provided healthy meals, and planned fun events through out the break. My son looked forward to Splash Day and Show and Tell every Friday. The teachers were amazing and the front office staff was always welcoming and attentive.

We feel right at home at Windhaven! The staff truly resembles a family which helps with leaving your sweet babies behind knowing they are in trusted hands.

We have loved having our little guy at Windhaven Academy! We could not be more thankful for Janell and Angela and the rest of the newborn teachers. They have been nothing but caring, sweet and understanding as they watch over and teach our baby.

So thankful we found this place for our sweet Tatum! We did several tours at other places beforehand and never really felt at home. Since starting here, Angela and Janell have been Tatum's teachers. They keep us updated all day and love on our sweet girl while we have to be at our jobs. Today was Valentines day and they made the sweetest craft with her feet saying "I love you from the tip of my toes to the bottom of my heart." My heart can't handle the cuteness! Angela and Janell are the best! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. If you're looking for a daycare provider I definitely recommend putting Windhaven Academy at the top of your list! A+ in my books! And I'm picky 😂

We recently moved to the Plano/Frisco area and looked at many daycare options. After speaking with the owner - Assia - on the phone, I already had a good feeling. Especially when compared against the preliminary conversations I had with the other daycares in the area.

My wife traveled there for work a few weeks before we moved and spent the day touring the different daycare options I had selected, resulting in varying degrees of satisfaction. However, during her visit to Windhaven, she called me and asked, "so you feel good about this place? Still your top choice?" I said yes, and she immediately enrolled our daughter.

The staff is friendly, thoughtful, proactive, and gets an A+++ for communication. Their Brightwheel app is great. We’ve been attending for just over a month and feel 100% confident that this is the best school we could have picked. The Windhaven Academy and its staff are excellent! They took care of my daughter and son for at least a year. Both of my kids looked forward to going to Windhaven every single day. Every morning when I would drop them off, they would rush to get inside and start there day. The staff are very interactive with the parents throughout the day with updates, pictures and fun messages. They have all the proper protocols in place and do a great job of implementing them. We moved out of the area and were very sad to leave. My daughter still talks about her teachers and the friends she met there. IT was really tough taking them out of Windhaven as they did such a great job of showing love and care for the kids. We miss Windhaven Academy and its staff.

My wife stayed home with our baby 8 months before going back to work, we definitely were nervous as first time parents especially because our baby was exclusively breastfed and never took a bottle. His teachers were so understanding and helped us out SO much as he transitioned to a bottle and solid food(the food is organic which is amazing). They keep us updated and post plenty of pictures and have a mid-day message about their day and talk to us about their curriculum. Ms. Janell, Angela and Lauren in the infant rooms are the absolute best! Our baby boy has officially transitioned to the toddler room and we already have great things to say about Ms.Trenity and Ms. Jasmine. The front office staff is so friendly, everything about this place is so genuine. We love windhaven and so does our baby! 😊

Windhaven has been an absolutely wonderful daycare for us. Our child loves his teachers India Mathews (previous teacher), Kathryn Oliviera and Samanta Ceron! We highly recommend this daycare for anyone who is looking. Assia, the owner, really goes the extra mile to make this place run well!

I actually started my infant at another local daycare at 4.5 months old and transitioned to Windhaven about a month later. I hope this review might help a first time mom with what to look for in a daycare (and avoid some of the daycare issues I first experienced). I felt a difference in care on day 1 at Windhaven. The ladies in the nonmobile infants classroom are amazing (Ms janell, angela, and beverly)! Ms Janell CLEARLY has experience with kids. App is accurately updated in a very timely manner (after you experience the opposite of this, you realize just how important this is). COVID surges were still happening when we started and parents weren't allowed inside but I could tell they keep a very clean house - they keep a close eye on the babies and enforce sick policies. We’ve been part of Windhaven for more than a year, it was hard to decide with covid where to have our baby to attend but we trust the new administration and haven’t had any problem or any incident. They have been doing a lot of renovations in the building and also they listen to the parents feedback and try to accommodate. We will recommend Windhaven academy for any family that are looking childcare for their kids.

After a long search we decided to take a tour of Windhaven Academy after a co-worker recommended them. The second the tour was over, my husband and I knew this is the place where our kiddo needed to go. The owner is involved and she is AMAZING. The team of teachers and administrators she has procured is phenomenal. This is my kids first daycare and they had him excited to go after the first week which was so comforting as a parent. The smile this kid has at drop off is such a great way to start my morning. The handful of times we’ve decided to keep him home, he still goes to the garage to leave in the morning.
