Vets on the Hudson

They are the most thorough vets I’ve ever been to. My dear cat friend was unwell on a Sunday morning and they took her right away and got us seen and cared for within a short amount of time. They even communicate with me when they are closed, through text and email- to check up on my car friend.

I cannot recommend them enough. The entire staff is warm, and friendly- unlike a lot of other vet offices- where the doctors AND staff behave is if all humans are unworthy of their time.

100% will always come back here.

We love taking our Rottweiler Grizzy to our local vet! They are so good with him whenever we need a check up.

They took care of our freshly adopted kitten, and made us feel so welcome and at ease. Will be going back for my other pets’ check ups.

Best veterinarian office I’ve ever been to!! The staff were able to accommodate my request for a pet health certificate even though it was ok short notice. They took great care of my pup. The process was very efficient/organized, the office super clean, and the staff friendly. Would 100% recommend.

From the moment we pulled up to Vets on the Hudson we knew we had made the right decision to transfer here! My initial phone call to their talented front desk kicked it off . Then there is parking right across from their door, a beautiful state of the art facility , and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff!
(Melissa , Lucia , Viviana , Samantha and Moe ) . When Dr Gjokai came into the examining room , she greeted us with a big smile and spent significant time with our yorkiepoo Caper . I have been impressed with their follow up after visits and also their availability to answer questions and make us feel good about any decisions we make regarding Capers health!

The hospital's service is very good. The doctor's examination is very careful. My cat received perfect treatment there.

We just switched our 1 year old dog to Vets on the Hudson and were so impressed. She was just diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and after conflicting advice from our old vet and the hospital, we were nervous and unsure how to proceed. The whole staff at vets on the Hudson was so welcome and warm, and the doctor we saw was thorough, transparent, gave us all the time we needed for questions, and helped us determine a path forward. We are grateful to have vets on the Hudson in our corner as we navigate this scary chapter.

My Mother initially came here for her 2 dogs and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr.Gjokaj and her incredible staff. To have such professionalism and kindness in one place is so rare. I live an hour away and after seeing how well they took care of my Mother’s dogs I knew I had to bring my puppy here as well no matter how far away. Dr. Gjokaj is an angel, she has a brilliant mind and beautiful bedside disposition. I can NOT Recommend this place enough. Vets on the Hudson is immaculate clean as well with state of the art technology and they actually perform surgeries as well.

Wow, we just had the best experience at Vets on the Hudson. The Vet we normally go to didn’t have a doctor on site so we headed to VOTH who quickly got us in to be seen. The staff was so friendly to us and to our very nervous dog. The Vet Tech Sam, held and comforted our dog like he was her own. The space is clean and beautiful. We’re absolutely moving to VOTH as our primary Vet!

Great staff and office. Our cats get very nervous whenever they have to visit the Vet and they were amazing, patient and sweet. Would highly recommend coming to this office!

Everyone is very nice, friendly, and professional. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your pets health. Deducted one star because it is very expensive, however, if your pets don’t get sick very often or require regular nail trims, etc., then you will be okay.

Dr. Gjokaj and her staff are all very nice and have a lot of patience to explain everything in details, I’m really appreciate it.

I'm very happy and relieved I found this practice. Dr. Gjokaj and her staff are wonderful. I took my senior beagle mix in after a fainting episode and I'm so glad I did. The thoroughness with which they conducted the examination combined with their open, friendly bedside manner and honest, direct communication made me feel that we were in very capable hands.

The office is lovely as well with the ability to conduct many tests on site.

Had the best experience here recently. The vet is so personable - you can tell she truly cares about the animals she treats and is extremely knowledgeable. Everyone we also interacted with was so friendly and helpful.

My dog is a little shy and nervous but they made him (& me!) feel at ease the whole time. I know my dog is in good hands with Vets on the Hudson, they have just acquired a client for life!

10/10! Dr. gjokaj and her entire team go above and beyond to ensure the health of their fur patients! Dr. gjokaj is soo kind, knowledgeable, gentle and comforting! She took her time checking my Simon and did not miss anything! I had the pleasure of taking both of my cats to her office and had amazing experiences both times. I rarely do reviews unless it’s warranted, and this is one of those times. After using the same family vet for most of my life I decided it was time to find one local to where I’m currently living. I actually only learned about Vets On The Hudson a few days ago when I received a post card in my mailbox. Not even two days later my dog starting showing signs of an ear infection and i decided to make an appointment. They were able to get us in early the next morning and I didn’t even call them until close to 7pm the night prior. The whole experience was extremely positive and this will now be my go to veterinarian.

This was our first visit at the vet with our new puppy. I’m a first time owner so I was a bit nervous, but all the staff were so welcoming and made sure our puppy was comfortable through every process. The place is super clean and a welcoming environment. Dr. Gjokaj was super professional and helpful with all our questions. I felt relieved to find this hospital- definitely will be our regular vet!

Vet and nurses are all very sweet & helpful. My cats, Sandro & Henry, weren’t too happy to be there but loved all the attention they were getting!
