Vets on the Hudson

This is an amazing hospital. They have an endoscope to be able to remove a foreign body from a dog's stomach. Its just like in a human hospital. They are very cutting edge and talented!!

Long story short, Dr Gjokaj and her team are absolutely wonderful. They are so kind and caring and doctor is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. We always leave with all of our concerns addressed, confident that we are making the best choice for our toy poodle. She has great recommendations for specialists who are (imo) the best in their field. Our dog had some pretty serious health issues and needed a big surgery but thanks to Dr Gjokaj and her team, he is healthier now than he has ever been! Can’t recommend enough!

The vets here are incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend them! Sarah is especially kind and helpful.

I lost my beloved kitty 7 months ago and I can only now bring myself to write a review. This doctor and her staff are the most professional and caring group I have encountered. I only regret not having taken my little love to her from the beginning. She is an amazing diagnostician and found what was wrong with him 5 minutes into the exam. She actually performs a thorough exam unlike 99% of the vets I went to. The staff always cares from the moment they answer the phone and you can tell that they are happy working there as a team.

Today was our second visit and once again the staff did not disappoint me. They are so sweet and always very helpful. They had to draw blood and were so gentle my dog didn't even seem to notice. I really appreciate that.

I cannot thank this hospital enough for the exceptional care they provided for my kitten. From the moment we walked in, the nurses and staff showed such kindness, patience, and warmth. They treated my kitten gently, as if it were their own, and explained every step of the treatment with clarity and compassion.

After 1 year with Vet on the Hudson, I can only say that my pet has been well cared for and treated very professionally, always attentive.

This was my first time at a Vet as I am a first time dog mom. The staff exceeded my expectations! They treated our dog with so much love and were very thorough. I left with a ton of knowledge. The follow up

We are so lucky to have met Dr.Gjokaj she is by far the best veterinarian we’ve encountered in the U.S.! She is incredibly attentive and takes the time to thoroughly answer even my smallest questions. During routine checkups, she doesn’t miss a thing she carefully examines everything from our dog’s ears to his tail. I also really appreciate how responsive she is; whenever I message her with a question, she always replies quickly and kindly. I always feel completely at ease following her recommendations because she never suggests anything unnecessary. Her care is truly genuine, and it shows. Highly recommend!

It’s hard for me to overstate how great Vets on the Hudson is. They have been wonderful for all of our precious pets. We’ve been coming here for years from the most sad to the most exciting appointments.

The past year we moved to Brooklyn but keep coming back to Vets on the Hudson because the genuine care and compassion shown in this clinic doesn’t compare with any other vet clinic. My dog Oliver has been a patient at Vets on the Hudson almost since they opened, and I can’t tell you how happy I am that they did open here. The doctor, the receptionists, the techs are all warm and welcoming. Oliver is being treated with a laser for a pinched nerve in his neck…he practically pulls me into the office and acts like it’s a spa day.
I love the doctor. She is kind and obviously loves animals, but even more importantly, she is able to figure out what is wrong with them and treat them.
I’ve spent a lot of time there over the last few months and can’t say enough good things for this practice.

I’m very picky when it comes to choosing a vet for my pup and when I first moved to the area, I chose Vets on the Hudson because of their ratings. They did not disappoint!! Everyone who works there have been nothing but kind and welcoming. Then once I had my pup seen, I genuinely felt like I was in good hands. Both the vet and tech took the time to get to know my dog and you can tell that they care about your animal! It wasn’t a quick visit and they are very thorough. Lastly, they are accommodating. Both times, my dog needed to be seen last minute and they were able to squeeze her in. This is a great place and I’m so happy I found them!

Vets on the Hudson are an amazing team. I love that the office is family owned; It gives such a warm and welcoming feeling. Dr Gjokaj is so professional and knows her stuff! She and her staff are just all wonderful and really helped ease my anxieties as a new cat owner. Overall a positive experience every-time we visit.

I have only been going to Vets on the Hudson since Oct 2024 for my 9 year old old man who had never really gone to the vet before except when he was a puppy but let me tell you that they are the most welcoming , the most friendly group of people I have come across. From the receptionists to the techs to the doctors. They are all so amazing. I love that I can text them and they respond pretty quickly and can get us in if needed. We have had to make frequent trips recently and although seeing them isn’t always under the best circumstances , it is always great to see them. Special shoutout to Jennifer as she has really grown to know Milo and even though he’s still deciding if he likes her lol, I know he appreciates her and the rest of the team for helping him feel better. If youre looking for a vet , these are your people. I promise !

Vets on the Hudson exceeded my expectations! The staff is professional & they’re very friendly in the rooms, the clinic is immaculate, prices are great for their thorough care, and the staff is transparent about treatment plans. Both of my dogs have high anxiety but they were very comfortable during their visit & the staff & Dr. Gjokaj were making sure my pets stayed stress free!! Everyone is exceptional at communicating my pets needs & providing excellent care and I was very satisfied with my visit & will be coming back! 😊

Dr. Gjokaj was amazing! Our dog had an allergic reaction and she was able to do a check-up quickly and figure out what happened. She then provided us with the medicine we needed to help get her back to normal and within a few days it was as if nothing happened. My wife and I were very worried, but Dr. Gjokaj was very calming and knew exactly what she was doing. We will be back to Vets on the Hudson 100%.

They are the best! Everyone in the office cares about animals and takes the time to let you know exactly what’s going on and come up with a plan to make sure your pet is as healthy as can be. Our pup actually enjoys coming here.
