La Zees is singlehandedly the best takeaway in Edinburgh. It's our go to every Friday night without fail and we spend the entire week fantising about it. We've even ordered it in advance to take up to Aberdeen and Glasgow. Dear reader, this review is no jest: it genuinely comes from a place of absolute love and devotion. We happened upon it in the first lockdown in March and we can honestly say it made the experience not only bareable but frankly, enjoyable. Suffice to say this place is doing God's work and we wish nothing but the best for Mr Ahmed and his team. (Btw we still want your secret sauce recipe!!)
