What an amazing place! We enrolled my daughter when she was just over a year old and she grew to love her teachers, Ms Bertha and Ms Scarlett, and all the staff. The daycare checked every single box for us- it is exceptionally clean, we received updates throughout the day through the app and it was very easy to communicate with her teachers, small class sizes, all meals and snacks are prepared in house and are healthy- and most importantly, she learned so much within such a short amount of time- not just her numbers and colors in both English and Spanish, but also life skills such as throwing trash away, cleaning up after herself, feeding herself, etc. My only regret is not enrolling her earlier! It’s so much more than your average daycare, and my daughter really thrived in the Montessori learning environment.

We are incredibly grateful for the love and care that our daughter received at MKU from the moment she started at 14 weeks to now at 14 months. It’s clear every day that her teachers and administrators give her the attention she needs and that they are truly invested in every student. We’ve seen her develop curiosity and gain independence. We can’t recommend MKU enough and are so happy to have found a nurturing community that provides Spanish immersion Montessori education.

We were lucky to find this school the day it opened! Our son has spent two years there and we couldn’t be happier. He loves his teachers and takes home all his lessons in grace and curtesy (taking turns and sharing!). We’ve seen his language and executive functions develop so well.

The staff was also essential and proactive in helping us navigate life transitions like first day of school, new sibling, moving, and potty training.

I noticed one negative review and wanted to confirm the school addressed concerns and made required staff changes. The owner and principal are very involved in making sure the school runs well and kids get the best education possible.

Dropped our daughter off for the first time today and feel so grateful for the team. Everyone is so kind and has made us feel so comfortable. Carolina is wonderful and you can tell really believes in the school and investment into the children that it provides! My husband said that Leti, the teacher in our girls room, reminded him of his mom and the other teacher also seemed great!

We’ve had our toddler in this amazing school since he was 18 months (he’s now almost 3!). He’s had the most wonderful experience here and speaks so highly of his teachers - especially Ms. Lily! The principal Ms. Ana does a wonderful job keeping all the parents well informed and all the kids feel welcome. They host several special events (petting zoos, donuts with dad, muffins with mom, they even bought in a fire truck and firemen that my son really loved). I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, caring, and stimulating atmosphere for their little ones

Montessori Kids Universe Shavano has taken the best care of our sweet girl since she was 12 weeks old. The teachers and admin staff are incredible: caring, fun, experienced in child care and development, native Spanish speakers, and trained in Montessori. Our daughter absolutely loves going to school and they do a wonderful job of truly teaching her, even as an infant. When we began looking for child care options at 5 months pregnant, I was worried we would have to settle for our 3rd or 4th choice while we were on the waiting list for our preferred center, but we got lucky and found MKU before they opened... they were also our clear 1st choice!

Since starting my son there I have seen him grow on all aspects. We all love the school. We're nurturing his love of learning and exploration with the Montessori techniques and he's doing so well. What other 3 yr old can name all their colors, count to 20 in English, 10 in Spanish and recite and read their ABCs? It's amazing the growth we've seen.

We’ve been with MKU Shavano since they opened and we’ve been so happy with it thus far! Our daughter is thriving and has picked up the Spanish much more quickly than we imagined. The everyday life skills she is learning are evident and make her even more confident and independent than she was when she started. She loves all the staff/employees from the front desk, to the chef, to her classroom teachers. They all offer so much warmth and genuine affection to the kiddos. We love the Montessori curriculum, but have also been equally as impressed with the summer “Passport Around the World” curriculum that has introduced the children to new places, cultures, foods, art/music, etc. We look forward to continuing to watch our girl grow and thrive at MKU Shavano.

This was our first experience with a Spanish Montisorri Education Program & it was excellent! We personally know the owners & our son had a great time at this school. Unfortunately he has outgrown it but our 2nd son will soon be attending next!

We love Montessori Kids Universe because of the warm welcome we received since Day One. From Administration to front office staff, to the teachers that greet you with a smile daily, I know that my family made the right choice when choosing MKU. If my kids love it, so do we!
