My dog's behavior has improved significantly. The training techniques were easy to follow and tailored to my dog's needs. Cherrie and Sam were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about helping us. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking to correct unwanted behaviors and for general training!

We sent our Golden Retriever to Top Dog for obedience training and it was well worth it. We constantly received updates, photos, and videos of his training. Top Dog was extremely professional and effective. Highly recommend!

We were skeptical as we did extensive research for a dog training company in the New Orleans area. We spoke with Cherrie and felt very comfortable with her philosophy and how she runs her school. We decided to go with them and we could not be happier. Our 18 month old Mini Golden Doodle came back to us an improved version of her spunky, adorable, loving self. She did the 3-week course and came back as a dog who can understand 8 commands and walk off leash. Amazing team and communication throughout the 3 weeks. We highly recommended Top Dog Academy!!!

Samantha was fantastic. I have a cattle dog mix who needed general obedience training along with following commands. My dog was there for 3 weeks. I received videos and picture updates on his progress. After the program Samantha hosted a review of what was taught to my dog and we went over all of the commands. Spending time with my dog has never been more pleasurable. I highly recommend Too Dog Training Academy! You’ll be glad you did it.

Thanks Sam!!! Dumpling is a smart but rambunctious dog. I thought he would play nice while he was away but change when he got home. Wrong. He definitely has changed. The training really helped. Absolutely love Top Dog!! I never expected them to help us and answer so many questions before our pups program and at graduation! The videos Samantha sent us truly made us cry seeing how far our dog progressed in a few days.

So far very happy with the training that was done for my dog Taro. He completed the 3week advanced training program with Samantha as his trainer. Pictures and videos were sent regularly throughout the three weeks and communication was clear and easy.

Will continue to train him at home but they helped create a firm foundation for him

Top Dog is absolutely amazing!!! I brought my dog to Top Dog initially for training. She most definitely benefited from their training program and now I bring her to Top Dog for overnight boarding. They are super accommodating with pickup and drop off and always send updates on how my dog is doing. They truly are passionate about what they do and I know my dog is always in good hands when she’s at Top Dog.

My 14 month old standard poodle puppy was so sweet but crazy. Our trainers at Top Dog did the most amazing job with him in 3 weeks. I am so pleased. He is off leash trained on e collar. I do not recognize my puppy. He is so good! Trust these trainers!

Top Dog has taught him that while he may own all our hearts, he still has to do as he’s told. His training was great brainwork for him, which has made him much happier. I feel so much better about his safety now; if I drop his leash, he won’t bolt like he used to! He stays in a wonderful heel and listens to commands. I couldn’t be happier with Top Dog; they took such great care of him, sent plenty of updates, and made sure to focus on his specific needs. Shortly after his training, we took him on a road trip with lots of hotels, hikes, and even tubing! He did great. No excessive barking, stayed focused on us, and listened to commands even in distracting areas. I am amazed at how well his training has paid off. Thank you Top Dog!!

She wouldn’t listen, would run away when called and couldn’t settle down no matter how much play time she had. She chewed everything in sight, refused to walk on a leash and I truly thought she was untrainable until we brought her to top dog training academy. I was nervous to leave her for two weeks but Cherrie, the staff and trainers were incredible and took such good care of her. When we picked her up she was a completely different puppy! She listens to commands and is so much safer because she comes when she is called and overall a much calmer and happier puppy. Thank you guys so much, best decision we could’ve made for our baby girl!

Top Dog Training was the best thing for our family!! we like to joke and say that our Rambo left a boy and came back a man but honestly it’s 100% true! we couldn’t have him in the house around the baby because he was just so hyper and wouldn’t listen to anything. He was an outside dog before training. Top dog for us was WONDERFUL!!! We now have our boy in the house and around the baby! They are great with the dogs and treat them like family just like if they were at home with you. Their customer service is great also, if you need your dog trained, I would recommend Top Dog over and over!

It helped my dog learn some basic manners and how to listen

Tyler was an amazing trainer for our Goldendoodle, Chevy. He worked on basic obedience training and leash training ad did an amazing job. He kept us informed throughout the training with photos and videos. We couldn’t believe the progress that he made in two short weeks. We’ll definitely go back for more advanced training with Tyler! Highly recommend!

Professional systematic dog training. Mike and His Wife who own the company made the entire process of board training pretty simple and straightforward. It 100% helped my new pup. She has slacked off a little on obediance but they offer follow ups and discounts on boading so I will probably use this service. Will keep Google posted but so far so good. Thanks guys! Our child who suffers from anxiety was given a puppy as a gift. The puppy had several behavioral issues that were worsening by the day. We had tried teaching basics and we stayed consistent to no avail. We reached out to Top Dog and scheduled 3 week board and train with Erin. Erin kept us informed of everything that was going on and sent lots of updates. Erin and the owners were all very honest and upfront with their assessment of our puppy’s behavioral issues. They made a plan to get our puppy back on track and going the right direction. When we went to pick up our puppy on graduation day the transformation we witnessed was amazing. The work they did gave our puppy a second chance at a happy life WITH her best friend. There are no words to describe the true gratitude we have for Erin and the owners of Top Dog. This transformation would NOT have been possible without them.
