This is the worse company ever please run from this place. We need to start a class action law suit

Unfortunately, I signed my life away on this loan from Tidewater. With their extremely high interest rates, you're better off not doing business with them...

Trying to surrender my vehicle to them has been very difficult to say the least. I was in contact with a supervisor, Hope but she's MIA all of a sudden. Their customer service department is the worst to deal with. Can't talk to a supervisor when asked to speak to one. I can't wait to cut ties with this company. Too many hassles, look elsewhere for a loan.

Customer service is the worst. Hands down the worst loan I've ever had. Stay away! Every 5 star review sounds fake as all hell.

They closed my account with hone depot without even a word from what I understand they closed all home depot accounts.

THE WORST. I paid my loan paymant on time every month. Recently paid my balance off in full and contacted them to close my account . The following month I received a bill in the amount of 2.30$ 200.30$ was deducted from my bank account. I contacted them multiple times to get a refund of my over payment only to be told they never received that money. After emailing them a copy of the check showing they deposited it, they continued to argue with me. I have since contacted my bank and the BBB to report this fraud.

I was assigned to this lender by Ashley Furniture. What a joke. Not only is the interest rate high, but then they charge you $8 to make a payment over the phone. Luckily I took out a consolidation loan to pay off this lender and then when I asked for a letter showing the account was paid in full and that I had to wait 6 to 8 weeks to get it, I was incredulous. With as much money as these folks make in interest, they have the audacity to charge you to handle your payment and then you have to wait nearly 2 months to get an official letter that the loan has been paid? Yes, this is a low life company. Go visit the Lending Club instead.

They approved me and i had the car for 1 week and because my job transferred me to Dallas they never funded me my loan i work for an major airline. I have transfer notice and everything i was honest with the agent Kim (6469ext) about everything and she was just rude didn’t give me information and basically told me to stop calling. When i filled out application i was in the place i told them i moved out a week later to my dad house around the corner because i got a transfer with my job for a better position and paid more in Dallas . I was honest with the bank gave them my father address and told them in a week i will have my address in Dallas .they did not fund my loan so now i have to give my car back to the dealer and go to Dallas without a car thanks guys smh

Financed a vehicle through this company needless to say the reps are and have been always rude and condescending. Refused to give me my account information loan duration Interest rates etc. When making more than minimum payment they somehow decided they would hold that money back and not apply it to the principal due to some policy they made up. This place is a joke and I highly recommend going with another loan provider if you have one. Never so happy to finance through a different company and even then they where rude as usual so I will give them A+ on consistency.

I wish I could rate them 0 stars , this company is a scamming company I use to work there they treat their customers nasty y’all any kind of way to them . Tell them they owe a certain amount just so they can pay more and get a higher bonus they fire people when they let them take time off for personal reasons . Even if it’s court related they will fire you . This business is a scam don’t let them tell you they can’t do a settlement they are lying . They use people checking accounts for recurring payments without customers authorization. I AM SO GLAD I DO NOT WORK HERE ANYMORE.

Whatever you do ===>>> DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY - you will regret it. They are a predatory lender that has no interest whatsoever in the truth and will give you nothing but the run around all day long.

Tidewater financed me for an auto loan and it has been hell from the beginning! This company needs to be shut down. I'm reporting them to the better business bureau! Terrible service, predatory loans with sky high interest rates! You ppl should be ashamed of yourselves!

I have been receiving invitations to apply with this company and after reading these comments I will stay far away. Also, I believe you all should file a class action law suit and recoup all your loss payments, ruined credit reports, and additional charges. Don't let this company take your hard earn money and treat you like dogs. No, no way!!! I encourage someone to have the courage to reach out to the other customers and demand your rights and money. Don't play with this company because if they have these many negative comments and still don't try to make it right with all their customers then Sue there behinds and teach them how to respect the game. THERE IS POWER IN NUMBERS AND YOU ALL HAVE MORE TO GAIN THAN YOU REALIZE.

DO NOT FINANCE ANYTHING THROUGH THEM! THIS IS THE WORST FINANCE COMPANY EVER! The customer service agents are very rude! They lost two of my payments and a rude man with a heavy New York/Hispanic accent gave me an explanation of they aren't responsible for the mail and eventually hung up the phone. I place a stop payment on one of the checks. Some how the original magically appeared and they tried to cash it. But it was returned by my bank and they tried to submit it as an ACH payment which my bank declined. Which is fraud since I didnt approve it! I know because I work for another financial institution. Do not use this company. Those saying its good company either are paid for their opinion or work for them because they're lying! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY DONT' DESERVE ANY STARS! WISH I COULD GIVE THEM NEGATIVE STARS!

ABSOLUTE worst finance company ever! I pay my bill monthly on time yet they still call me 4-5 times throughout the day.

I have a paid off account with Tidewater and accidentally made an over payment of $2000 that was supposed to go to my mortgage. This company told me it would take a minimum of 60 days to get my money back. I requested to close the account hoping it would force them to refund my request and they told me it would also take 60 days to close. This is ridiculous. I understand it was my mistake but they were not willing to work with me at all! Terrible customer service.
