I do agree with many. Trey Bragg yup they pulled that with me also. Making it impossible to pay online. I also hate that they call a million times while I am at work. This has happened even after I made my payment and they want every single detail of my life except blood work and first born. They know its me ... they called me !!! Ten dollar fee to pay them by phone or with credit card or bank? Wow !!! Obviously they do not care about customer service !!! or Satisfaction !!! These reviews would scare anyone off !!! They help you get a Loan... Yes and that's it !!!

Getting mail from these people constantly about auto loans because i am in bankruptcy the letter says they got great programs to get auto loans... Number 1. None of your business that i am in bankruptcy right now. 2nd. i dont want a auto loan... dont need a car. 3. so many bad reviews about this company that i would never get anything with them...stay far away. They are not worth it.

They are so terrible, they don’t work with you at all... and they will call you so many times. Tell me I don’t have insurance on my car but the thing is I do have insurance on my car

I am presently attempted to sue them for fraudulent garnishment charges. I would encourage everyone to together and start a class action case against their unfair practices. The car I purchased from them alternator died within 24 months. I did a voluntary repo and now they are garnishing my check for more than I paid for the car. In addition, they did not deduct payments I had made to them and sold my car for $1,000. I am presently seek litigation against them, you may have a case. They refuse to provide me my payment history and erased it from my online account that I had with them. Let all join together and put them out of business.

Called for months asking for statement and account information. Did not receive a bill, emailed statement, or even text opt-in until after the 1st payment was late. The company is either incompetent or thieves.
All the staff I spoke to on the phone were pleasant, but in light of the failure to provide me basic account information, I'm suspicious.

Worse company ever to get financing through. The customer service representatives are very rude. If the calls are being motored for quality assurance. Someone isn't doing their job.Do not do business with this company.

WARNING, this is the worst company to finance something from, and if you are trying to get any information regarding your account they will just tell you to call back, 3 days in a row multiple times a day and this was what I was told.

Absolute worst financing company I have ever dealt with. They claim to offer 0% interest for 12 months but it's an absolute lie. They added interest to my FIRST payment without even being late on the payment. I refused to pay the interest and requested to have it waived as per the agreement. Didn't happen. So my account became delinquent. I paid off the entire balance and I was told the payoff amount was about $300 more than the amount shown on my account balance....and their customer service agents are completely incompetent so don't rely on them. Filing claim right now with the BBB to get my account resolved.

Please do yourself a favor and use a different financing company for what you need. Save yourself the stress of dealing with a company that is NOT reputable or honest about their business tactics. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience.

I have dealt with over 10 Credit Card companies and by far this has been the worst! After speaking with customer service it was proven to me that its it's pointless to even have a customer service department! I was told absolutely nothing can be done about the intrest rate that was supposed to start for the following month showing up on my bill a month earlier. This will be the last time I will ever use Tidewater. I will stick to Sychrony, Chase, Discover, Wells Fargo, BB&T, American Express, and Citi!

I just filed bankruptcy and they sent me out a card. I was considering using them to get another car loan. After reading all of the bad reviews about this company I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Cards have been destroyed.

Absolute crooks! Lied over and over and will not own up to it. Do not fall for 12 month or any other 0 percent finance offers, they lie their way out and leave you stuck with crazy interest. They all should be in jail. They deserve 0 stars. Awful experience in every way imaginable.

I'm new to this company and to be honest, am not thrilled about the fact that I have to deal with them. They purchased my debt from a different company and neglected to notify me (The rep I spoke to confirmed that nothing was mailed letting me know!) The only reason I found out is because my check hadn't been cashed yet, so I tried logging on to the company who previously owned the debt and their website was down. After finally figuring out that this debt was owned now by Tidewater, I contacted them only to be told that I may incur a late fee because they hadn't received my payment yet! I only have nine payments to go, so fingers crossed I'm able to easily pay off the balance and close the account!

Update- I had my account set up for auto pay and my last payment was made on 9/9. I tried to log onto the website on 9/10 to cancel my auto pay and shocker- I receive an error...

Don't waste your time with this company. They are unreasonable and even after I paid off my account in full they still kept saying I owed them money and if I did not pay would send me to collection even though I have a ZERO BALANCE!!!!!!

Let me start by saying we were never late on payments and usually paid 1-2 weeks early, and the $10 online processing fee is a little much. Made our June payment (due on June 9) on May 18 in fact. Our vehicle was totaled in a car accident caused by someone turning out in front of us on a US highway on May 22. The insurance department associate here (handling our gap claim and speaking with our insurance company) has been incredibly rude every time I’ve had to speak to her, both to me and my husband directly and about our insurance company. There was miscommunication between her and our insurance company causing our settlement check not to get cashed until AFTER our July payment was due, which has pushed back our gap claim processing as well. The first check was sent to Tidewater on JUNE 5. Instead of waiving our July payment for a car we haven’t seen or touched in 7 WEEKS—because of...

Thieves. This company has been paid in full. All payments made ontime And continues to steal $26.00 a month in a fake fraudulent past due fee. That has never been past due. Made several phone calls to this company requesting the account to be closed and updated. Each time. A lie and excuse is given. I will be filing a law suit soon. For Damages to my credit file.

First of all, even though I only made 1 purchase, they billed me for 2 separate purchases. The second part came in several months into my 6month interest free time frame making it impossible for me to pay it off in time. When I called to get to the bottom of it, I really never got any answers. I went to pay the final amount today, there’s no obvious option on the website. Customer service is terrible. I will NEVER use this company again.

I send my payment in on time every month but they also process it towards the end of even first of next month and now my credit shows late all the time! They are also having to fix my account because they send the Billing out wrong!! Do not do business with them Biggest Scam company ever!!! Wish I could give them 0 star! I've been paying on it 2 years and the price is always the same balance they are Scammers

The worse finance company I have EVER dealt with. DO NOT finance anything with them. You will regret it. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. They don’t understand English and are not helpful at all. They add unknown fees and all. I really regret dealing with this company. Ruined my life.

Intrest free 12 month loan going on 9 months. Have to say nothing but good things about TW.

I have a loan that I can pay 1 year without interest. Which I'm totally taking advantage. I live in California, and purchased furniture. Super easy company, and website. Sad to see other people have had bad luck.

I just received a notification from Transunion that they flagged my account as 30 days past due. I don't know how this is possible, as I contacted them and asked for a payoff quote. I then paid off the entire account with one of their representatives. Funny thing is that I paid this off at then end of 2018 and now they are saying it is 30 days past due. I STRONGLY recommend NOT working with this company! I have filed a dispute with Transunion and I will file a complaint with the BBB.

Seems to be a late fee every mo even though Im not late. I do not trust this company. They also make you pay a $10 processing fee every month to make a payment. So add $10 to your outrageous monthly payment. I have never dealt with a company that has no concern for their customers like this one. I really feel like I have been taken advantage of.

I have a very good credit score and these people sent me a letter out denying credit. All they want to do is lurk into your credit score business so that it could drop. I'm so happy I wasn't granted to do business with these crooks and just from all the negative reviews, steer far, far away from these people. If you go anywhere and they have to submit to multiple loan agencies, be extremely sure to let the person know NOT to submit your information to Tidewater for consideration otherwise you will have hell on your hands.

I have not been late on my payments once and they call me every month to try and make me give them access to my bank account., NEVER HAPPEN
