I was granted a line of credit with 0% interest if paid off in the first 6 month. I am on track to do so. Never missed a payment, pay more than due, and early! No issues.

I can't wait to payoff my car. This company is horrible. The line has been busy all damn morning!!!!! Unable to get through.

Terrible company all together. I have paid off my loan with them 4 months ago and they have still not reported it to the credit bureau! And when you call its like talking to a wall. One person tells you they are a manager, but isn't, and has to transfer you to an actually manager... This has to be one of the most poorly ran companies I've dealt with, and that's saying something! Stay away if you can

Terrible Finance Company. They want a permission note written for a deferment. Remind you, a deferment is promise 3 times during the finance of your car. I have had my car almost 2 years. I needed a deferment. I couldn't give them the note they needed. So I took my own deferment. I have been on time with my payments, but that one payment, they simply want to be a hassle. I know God is on my side..........

They provide decent rates to individuals that are high or very high risk. Initially i received calls asking for payment after making online payment but this communication problem seems to have been fixed. If your payment is due on fri sat or sunday make your payment on thursday or they will not report your payment to bureaus. Other than that if you are getting harrassed by customer service it is probably for the same reasons you have to use a secondary lender..........lack credit worthiness. Do better and pay it on time for a change.

Absolutely horrible experience from day one! never has information that you need, never gives you the same pay off quotes, never consistent in the information provided.
However one thing that has been consistent is the representatives are always rude and argumentative regardless of the situation. Would not recommend them to my worst
enemy, and looking forward to not having them for my financing needs.

This Finance Company I been trying to call for a week and I am not able to get a hold of nobody. Please do not use this company if you can help it.

If you can avoid doing business with this lender do it at all cost. Just wait. You will be better of in the long run. The service is worse than the bottom made every payment on time even paid the 24,000 loan off early could not get them to send me proof of payoff at all worst lender out there do not call customer service it is a joke worst service ever do not use these people at all even if you have no other lenders to go with wait it out man these people are crooks and scammers.

This has been one of the worst experiences, EVER! The first few months, they are friendly, and helpful, but then they begin to call you at 8am on the day your payment is DUE, saying "Your loan is in my office, and we need to resolve this issue immediately!". Issue? ITS DUE TODAY!!!! Its great they offer a service for people who need it, but do not call at 8am on the day the payment is due acting like its late and we have done a diservice.

I had went through some financial hardships and Tidewater Motor Credit was the only company that would pickup my vehicle loan. I have had my loan with them for a year and eight months now and I couldn't be happier. The customer service has been outstanding. In my opinion, if you pay on time, you won't have any issues.

VERY POOR! They like to screww around with the customers. They do not want to help when trying to buy out loan. I was promised a lower interest rate then to turn around and end up with paying $5 a day just on interest. So in the year I had my loan I only paid $200 towards my principle. When questioned about payoff they stated they refuse to give 10 day amounts. Also who cant take a debit card account they need your actual bank information and then charge every transaction $10. Now that i have bought out my loan I am getting the run around about my title that DMV needs for my registration. They are the most worthless for customer service and hope my review detours even the most desperate person. I would have rather not had credit than to be screwed over and over with Tidewater. I will be letting the dealership of my experience as well with hopes that the next person does not have to...

one word HORRIBLE...customer service is uneducated about the company policies and procedures and does not know how to present clear or precise information. There is no empathy during the phone conversation when there is a hardship. I don't like to bash the integrity of the company because I'm sure everyone that works there isn't the same way..but this has been by far the most unprofessional, unethical, company I have dealt with in my whole life..

I had a auto loan for this company for a little over a year and I had a absolute great expierience with them...The only thing I will say is after my loan about six months after I had paid it off I seen a couple of inquiries on my credit, as if I had put in another application with them, but it was not a big deal called them, they appoligized sent me apology letters and immediately it was gone from my credit I would recomend to anyone. I'm actually getting ready to put in a furniture loan with them today is what made me look them up on google in the first place and seen all the bad reviews and couldn't believe my eyes but great company all in all A++++

Just like the rest of these bad reviews. I have one of my own. They're the worst. criminal in fact. If you one day late look out for all of the harassing phone calls with the threats. They will even call you on a Sunday which is off limits! They will call you after eight which is off limits. They don't care about your situation what so ever. So please spread the word. My loan is almost paid off but I've read some of the other reviews and people are saying that when paid off these clowns still call. You do the math. Don't do business with these people. You've been warned!!! If it were up to me they would get negative stars this one star is because google made me do it lol.

Read the fine print!!! Tried to pay for the vehicle and was late on the payments. They picked up the car the day of the payment. I had a near death experience and was in the hospital for a week. They still want me to pay for the car in full. DO NOT do business with this company.

Terrible customer service! Payoff of totaled car took well over a month and that was with having GAP Insurance with Tidewater! They are still calling me wanting money!

I'm sorry about the bad reviews, and I do understand how some of these lenders can be. I love This companies customer service, and their ability to understand customers personal needs. I have had a very good experience from the start. The last company I was with was Tebo Financial. Now that company is terrible...Glad to be with Tidewater.
