I dropped off a sample to a lab for asbestos testing. The company had provided the box and shipping label.
Two days later there was no tracking info other than my drop off information. I spoke with UPS customer service, eventually reaching a supervisor who checked with the local UPS hub. The hub said the package never made it to their facility. The supervisor told me the hub said all trucks are emptied by the end of the day and the items are scanned.
Apparently my package was not sent. When I checked numerous times with the store they claimed the package was no longer there but could not explain what happened to this very important package!
One person told me he would file a missing package claim to require UPS to carefully trace the package.
When I called today to get the update on that search I was told that the person I spoke with yesterday has no authority...
