Selling a house can be really stressful. We were concerned about selling our house in such a hot market. We were not sure how to price it, how much to do to the home to get it ready, and how to position it for the right buyer. Nick and Donna were the perfect agents for us! We sold our home in September 2021; Donna and Nick were an absolute pleasure to work with and were able to handle our needs perfectly when we told them we were moving to France on the first of September - so they only had a very limited window of us being in Ashburn, let alone the US to work with. Donna & Nick proved to be the most competent realtors we have encountered in the past 10 years. Their selection was based upon an interview that my wife and I had with the top 3 realtor firms - all 3 firms had excellent ratings. One of the top 3 firms fell out early in the process. Nick and Donna distinguished themselves by relating to us as far as our wants, and how best they could help us achieve them by applying their collective years of accumulated knowledge. It was their repeated demonstrated skill at anticipating contractors' with a variety of skills we needed. This alone though wasn't sufficient. Donna and Nick helped us find and purchase a condo for my parents in a 55+ older community in Ashburn. They are very knowledgeable about the area and the entire real estate process. We were able to move out of our home, out of state, before it went on the market and felt completely comfortable leaving everything in their hands. They found contractors to make changes and updates. Donna and Nick kept us informed of each step of the sale process. We were immediately notified of offers made and they were very knowledgeable with all negotiations. Only 22 days from listing to closing!

Nick did a great job negotiating the best price for me. There is an art to writing an offer, not just picking a low number. We were putting in an offer for a house that already had an offer in-hand. Nick talked to the realtor to understand why the homeowners hadn't accepted the 1st one, and worked with all parties to pick a fair offer for me that was attractive and low. When a home inspection uncovered a foundation problem, we were stuck: our offer stipulated the inspection was for information only. Nick saw an opportunity based on his experience! Now that the homeowners knew about the foundation damage, they'd have to disclose it if we walked away. He got them to drop their price a little to help with fixing the problem!
