The Learning Voyage

The Learning Voyage has been a huge blessing to our family. Our son absolutely enjoys going to school everyday and has grown and learned so much since starting with them. The owner, Ms. Joyia, is so passionate about establishing an environment where kids can thrive and has done an incredible job with TLV. The director, Ms. Lannett, is always so professional and ensures everything runs smoothly everyday. Our son absolutely adores his main teacher, Ms. Guadalupe, who does an amazing job everyday and provides constant communication throughout the day. Ms. Victoria, Ms. Lis, and Ms. Anlis are also so wonderful, and we have really appreciated the caring environment they all provide for our son. I couldn’t recommend this daycare more. We love TLV!

My son has been a student here for about 2 years and it has been a positive experience. Ms. Alexis L. is his teacher now and she has been wonderful. She cares for the children, listens to my concerns, and works with us to make the best learning experience for my son and his classmates. My son (age 2) comes home singing songs he learns all the time LOL. Thank you Ms. Alexis great job!

My son has been going to The Learning Voyage for over two years. He loves his teacher Ms. Alexis. She does an amazing job teaching and taking care of him. She communicates with us throughout the day and really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She goes above and beyond every day and we are so grateful!

My son has been here since August 2023. I have really liked all the staff/teachers. He is now in Ms.Alexis class. I adore her. She is wonderful with my son and his classmates. He’s learned so much from her. I know my son is in great hands when I have to drop him off.

My daughter has been attending the learning voyage for 6 months now. She’s 18 months and at that age, it takes a lot of patience lol.
This daycare has helped me tremendously and their patience with working with my daughter has been extremely helpful! She has grown so fast and learned so much!

Enrolling my son at The Learning Voyage has been a great experience. We are thrilled to have found a group of teachers who love what they do and the children that attend there. My son has gained new friends and started talking better than before. The enrollment was easy, the price is affordable and communication is always open and responsive. We couldn’t have picked a better place to care and teach our son as he grows. I am confident in The Learning Voyage!

I called looking for a PreK my son to start at a week after school has started and they welcomed my son into their program that day I called. Very nice and helpful.

The teachers and staff at The Learning Voyage are wonderful. They really care and get to know the students and their families. My daughter says she wants to go to school and really loves all her teachers. She has grown so much in wonderful ways since she has been attending The Learning Voyage. She has learned so much and talks so much more and has really opened up.

This is my son's (9 months) first time receiving child care from anyone other than myself. To say I was an anxious mess is an understatement, but his teachers and Ms. Lanett and Ashley have been so kind and patient with all my questions and concerns. I was unsure on how much milk he should have per day because I exclusively breastfed up until now, and Ms. Liz worked with me to get him to a good ounce count without having too much waste. I honestly have no complaints and my anxiety has eased tremendously with how well he has adjusted to his teachers and their routine.

We built a 6 Ft Chain link fence behind the main building . Joyia was a pleasure to work with. She kept her end of the deal with absolutely no headaches. Thats very rare these days . Hopefully i am able to do some more projects for her in the future.

My son has been at The Learning Voyage for a year and is now headed to pre-k. The beginning of his entry into daycare was a hard adjustment for him and myself. Very first day I was in tears because of my own fears that staff would never love my son the way I do and very quickly my fears and concerns were put to rest. Joyia listened to my fears and addressed them with his teachers right away. I spoke with his AMAZING teacher, Peyton, and she took my son on like he was her own! Any odd behavior that my son would show, they let me know and tried to find a solution. Good behavior/ bad behavior, everyday my son left with a big hug from his teacher and knew he was safe and loved when he was to return the next day. My daughter has been going to The Learning Voyage since April 2023. It has been an amazing experience, especially considering this was her first time in a daycare center. She does not speak while she’s at daycare, but the staff are very accommodating. We love her teacher Ms. Alexis in scholar voyagers! She is 100% prepared for kindergarten, thanks to all of the amazing staff here!!

The teachers and staff here are a blessing! They always welcome us with smiles, patience, and genuine kindness that put my child and me at ease, which is so important!!!! They go above and beyond for the kids & families here. Highly recommend!

My child has been attending the learning voyage for almost a year now. With the changing of the rooms and transitioning from in home childcare to a daycare they worked with him so well. He learns new things everyday, staff is genuine and cares about the kids. The events the school hosts are always fun and the teachers and staff are always smiling. The learning voyage is my kids other home and I cannot be more satisfied then I already am!

I can't say enough about the nurturing environment at The Learning Voyage daycare. My daughter has thrived under the care of her wonderful teacher, Ms. Alexis, in the two-year-old room. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that the staff truly cares about the children.

One of the highlights for me has been seeing how much love and attention my daughter receives in every classroom she's been in. It's heartwarming to know that she's not just being cared for, but genuinely loved.

However, one aspect that doesn't quite resonate with me is the requirement for children to wear uniforms (Monday - Thursday) at such a young age. While I understand the desire for uniformity, I believe it's essential for young children to have the freedom to express themselves through their clothing.

The Learning Voyage is a top tier daycare facility that our kids have been attending for over 2 years. Their faculty, facility, and education plan are all beyond exceptional. Our kids development has grown tremendously thanks to the amazing staff. There is no where else we would want our kids to attend.

Ms. Joyia and her staff are truly amazing, from day one, they have always given my daughter the resources/support she needs to grow and learn and the progress has been amazing! Best daycare hands down! They stand on business!!

My experience with TLV has been a pleasant one. The director and staff are very loving and approachable. The energy in the building always feels warm and inviting. My child loves this school and most of the people a part of the school. The way he feels about his school makes me comfortable with his safety and learning.

TLV has been my first experience with any Daycare and I was skeptical at first but the wonderful staff made my daughter feel loved, welcomed and just plain happy. The instant access to view how her day is going through the Procare App and seeing that she is learning and playing with other kids made my anxiety calm down. Being able to have access to my child through that app is Godsend. I would also like to say that the Tuition fee is more affordable than most around the Barrow county. I definitely would refer any parent to sign their child/children into this Daycare!!
