I had been trying for three years to get my elderly friend, Marge, to get a hearing aid. I had brought her to the Hearing Center of Ohio once before but she was not ready. Recently, while buying new eyeglasses at the Arlington Eyeglass store, I asked her if she wanted to go check out the hearing aids. She agreed! We were on our way to a wonderful new experience. Marge lives in assisted living and the staff had been telling me how bad her hearing was which was no surprise to me as I had to yell for her to even hear me. When I would go to visit her, I would knock on her door several times but the loud blasting of the T.V. muffled the knocking. We arrived at the Hearing Center with no appointment. They fit us in and gave Marge a hearing test. She was allowed to wear a hearing aid until her's came in. She wanted one that was rechargeable. She really enjoyed her week with the hearing aid. We picked up her new ones yesterday and she was so excited. She has been able to turn her T.V. down to 19 from 30. Thank you for all your help and patience with an elderly.
