I had been trying for three years to get my elderly friend, Marge, to get a hearing aid. I had brought her to the Hearing Center of Ohio once before but she was not ready. Recently, while buying new eyeglasses at the Arlington Eyeglass store, I asked her if she wanted to go check out the hearing aids. She agreed! We were on our way to a wonderful new experience. Marge lives in assisted living and the staff had been telling me how bad her hearing was which was no surprise to me as I had to yell for her to even hear me. When I would go to visit her, I would knock on her door several times but the loud blasting of the T.V. muffled the knocking. We arrived at the Hearing Center with no appointment.
