The Goddard School Roscoe Village

Goddard Roscoe Village is a wonderful place for children. Every teacher and staff member is motivated and joyful about educating and caring for our kids. We have a 2.5 yo and a 1 yo currently working through their programs and they are both thriving. They are hitting milestones early and love going to see their friends and teachers everyday.

The staff works very hard to create and maintain a sense of community that permeates the hallways and classrooms there. There are frequent events for the children and parents, and we try our best to take advantage of all of them.

When we were researching daycares, we weren't sure about selecting Goddard because it is a considerable distance from our house (well, not distance... but Chicago drive time). But we were sold on the high level of care and educational programming and now we gladly fight city traffic to make sure...

My husband and I have had our child enrolled at Goddard since he was a tiny infant in the Panda classroom. Returning to work after maternity leave was terrifying, and I wanted nothing but the very best for my baby. From day one, Goddard has given us complete peace of mind knowing our child is in caring, capable hands. Shoutout panda classroom who cared for our son for so long!

It has been such a joy watching him blossom as he’s moved through the classrooms shout out polar bears and his new room penguins! He has formed special relationships with his teachers, and it is so clear that each one truly cares about him and his development. We genuinely have nothing but fabulous things to say about our experience.

Our daughter started at 12 weeks old which was a huge/scary transition for us. However, Goddard has been the biggest blessing for our family! She is now 16 months old and has been through several classrooms. I’m so impressed with the level of communication the school has with parents, individual attention (infant rooms are broken down by milestones which is very helpful!), and the love/care. Even the teachers and staff who aren’t in my daughter’s classroom know who she is and say hello. Anytime we have had a question or concern it is quickly taken seriously, addressed, and we are given follow-up and check-ins to make sure we are happy with the result. They have their own app where you get updates and pictures throughout the day. My daughter enjoys going to school every day, and this daycare is definitely why she is so social and precocious! Recommend without hesitation!

My daughter just transferred to Goddard's Bear program, and I am kicking myself for not enrolling her sooner! It has been such a smooth transition so far and my daughter absolutely loves her new school! The teachers are so nurturing and very communicative, the school itself is very clean, and my daughter is learning so much academically and socially!

My son is now attending Goddard and he is truly thriving! Not only am I impressed with the care and nurturing from the staff, I’m amazed at how far my son has come in regards to developmental and intellectual milestones due to the outstanding curriculum provided at Goddard. Additionally, I’ve been so grateful to the entire Goddard team in accommodating and navigating my son’s allergy concerns. I highly recommend Goddard to all families!

We love Goddard! Our son started a few months ago and was able to settle in so quickly with all of the love and support of the staff. Meals are healthy and fresh and the education is top notch!

We have been sending our son here for almost a year starting when he was 1 yr old and I would highly recommend Goddard Roscoe Village. My son loves going to “school” and I am always impressed by the teachers, staff and all the activities and work the school puts in for the kids. It was such a hard decision to send my first baby to daycare and now a year later, I couldn’t be more happy with our decision. They are great at keeping us updated throughout the day with pictures and videos and do lots of fun holiday related activities , etc.

We had an exceptional experience with Goddard School. Our twin three-year-olds had so much fun and adjusted quickly. From an educational perspective, the environment covers a range of skills, from music to math to learning comprehension to socializing. Unlike a Montessori, they do incorporate more play and dress up, but they have a more focused learning environment than say a day care. (However, they keep daycare hours and that was tremendous for us to be able to keep our girls there until 6pm!) The staff were all incredibly friendly, communicative and accommodating. We are especially thankful to Joli, the head of school, who was so attentive and supportive.

Organizationally speaking, Goddard is also very strong: We loved the app that shared photos of the kids throughout the day, and detailed updates on their meals, naps and BMs. It was a very helpful tool. The parking...

This day are is amazing. I’ve seen so much growth in my 3.5y/o in the short time he’s been attending the Goddard School (started in August of this year [2025]). The teachers truly care about the kids and their wellbeing (both physical and emotional). Their goal is not just to give you a place to take your child everyday- they truly want to give your child a good start in life!

Love the school…our kids have done so well here! The new director Joli is amazing! She’s very caring and attentive to the kids’ needs. We are very happy with the balance of activities, curriculum, and play.
