The Goddard School Roscoe Village

Me and my wife were hesitant at first to send our new baby to daycare, but the care given at The Goddard School - Roscoe Village has been exceptional. Even the littlest babies get a music class, and now that our son has grown into a toddler, he has a variety of activities and fun each day. Each teacher has been amazing with our son and show him a lot of attention. I can't imagine a better school to send your little one to.

We recently started in June and so far have had a wonderful experience with this school. The teachers and staff are caring, supportive, and genuinely committed to helping students succeed. The school provides a positive and welcoming environment where children feel encouraged to learn, grow, and develop confidence.

The communication with parents is excellent, and the staff are always approachable and helpful. We truly appreciate the dedication of the teachers and the effort they put into creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

Overall, we are very happy with the school and would highly recommend it to other families looking for a supportive and high-quality education for their children.

Simply amazing! We were looking for a pre-school for our 2 year old and we had a short list of requirements. We wanted a classroom environment as opposed to just a daycare that offered half days and part time. Oh yeah, and we didn’t want our child to be taken out for walks on a leash. After interviewing many of the top local schools, Goddard was the big winner. They even offer music classes as part of the curriculum which is an added bonus that our son really enjoys. The school itself is clean and feels safe with plenty of parking. The staff is top notch, always friendly with a smile on their face, helpful, and vigilant. Now a year later, we can confirm Goddard was the right choice and we are so delighted our 3 year old is happy and thriving!

Staff like no other

My son has grown so much since starting at The Goddard school back in 8/2025. Everyone is very caring and invested in my son’s education and wellbeing. Would highly recommend!

We have had such a wonderful experience with this school! They were extremely accommodating when our oldest son was accepted into CPS just one week before his scheduled start date, which we truly appreciated during what could have been a stressful transition.

Our youngest son has now been attending for a few weeks, and while drop-offs continue to be a little rough, every teacher has been incredibly caring, patient, and supportive as I leave. It makes such a difference knowing that he is being comforted and cared for after I walk out the door. The pictures they post shortly after drop-off are always so reassuring — seeing my boy happy and smiling puts my mind at ease!

The office staff are also so friendly, kind, and welcoming. Everyone has made us feel supported and confident that our son is in good hands.

The Roscoe Village location, the days and hours are all accommodating. The communication with the care givers and the school’s portal are great.
More importantly, the last 10 months have shown we made the right choice entrusting our child with the people at Goddard Roscoe Village.

We are incredibly lucky to have our child attend the Goddard school The entire faculty and staff, are professional, caring, intelligent and amazing with our son and all of the children. Any family would be welcomed and lucky to have their child enrolled at the Goddard school. Our son has been going there since he was 2 months old, and now is 5 months old. And the infant teachers love him and he loves them. We would recommend the Goddard school to anyone looking for the best child care imaginable. Thank you to everyone at the Goddard school!! Goddard Roscoe Village is a wonderful place for children. Every teacher and staff member is motivated and joyful about educating and caring for our kids. We have a 2.5 yo and a 1 yo currently working through their programs and they are both thriving. They are hitting milestones early and love going to see their friends and teachers everyday.

The staff works very hard to create and maintain a sense of community that permeates the hallways and classrooms there. There are frequent events for the children and parents, and we try our best to take advantage of all of them.

When we were researching daycares, we weren't sure about selecting Goddard because it is a considerable distance from our house (well, not distance... but Chicago drive time). But we were sold on the high level of care and educational programming and now we gladly fight city traffic to make sure...

My husband and I have had our child enrolled at Goddard since he was a tiny infant in the Panda classroom. Returning to work after maternity leave was terrifying, and I wanted nothing but the very best for my baby. From day one, Goddard has given us complete peace of mind knowing our child is in caring, capable hands. Shoutout panda classroom who cared for our son for so long!

It has been such a joy watching him blossom as he’s moved through the classrooms shout out polar bears and his new room penguins! He has formed special relationships with his teachers, and it is so clear that each one truly cares about him and his development. We genuinely have nothing but fabulous things to say about our experience.

Our daughter started at 12 weeks old which was a huge/scary transition for us. However, Goddard has been the biggest blessing for our family! She is now 16 months old and has been through several classrooms. I’m so impressed with the level of communication the school has with parents, individual attention (infant rooms are broken down by milestones which is very helpful!), and the love/care. Even the teachers and staff who aren’t in my daughter’s classroom know who she is and say hello. Anytime we have had a question or concern it is quickly taken seriously, addressed, and we are given follow-up and check-ins to make sure we are happy with the result. They have their own app where you get updates and pictures throughout the day. My daughter enjoys going to school every day, and this daycare is definitely why she is so social and precocious! Recommend without hesitation!

My daughter just transferred to Goddard's Bear program, and I am kicking myself for not enrolling her sooner! It has been such a smooth transition so far and my daughter absolutely loves her new school! The teachers are so nurturing and very communicative, the school itself is very clean, and my daughter is learning so much academically and socially!

My son is now attending Goddard and he is truly thriving! Not only am I impressed with the care and nurturing from the staff, I’m amazed at how far my son has come in regards to developmental and intellectual milestones due to the outstanding curriculum provided at Goddard. Additionally, I’ve been so grateful to the entire Goddard team in accommodating and navigating my son’s allergy concerns. I highly recommend Goddard to all families!

We love Goddard! Our son started a few months ago and was able to settle in so quickly with all of the love and support of the staff. Meals are healthy and fresh and the education is top notch!
