The Goddard School of Pittsford (Bushnell's Basin)

Overall we have had a great experience at the Goddard school. The teachers and administrative staff have always been very kind and helpful to our family. Through astute observation by our middle child’s teacher, it was recommended that he be assessed for early intervention speech services. Because of her advice, he was able to get the services he needed and graduated from ST prior to starting Kindergarten. Our children have all made lasting friendships there and it’s been incredible to watch them grow and learn. I would recommend this program to friends and family.

We’ve had a really great experience with The Goddard School of Pittsford (Bushnell’s Basin). We’ve sent both of our boys there and have always felt comfortable and confident with the care they receive. The teachers are friendly, caring, and do a great job getting to know each kid individually.

Our boys have always been excited to go in every day, which says a lot. They’ve made great friends there, and we’ve seen them grow a ton socially and personally over the years. Communication with the staff has also always been great, and it’s clear the team genuinely cares about the kids and families.

Overall, it’s been a very positive experience for our family and we’d definitely recommend it to others.

There are daycares, and then there are true communities. The Goddard School has been that for our family.

We have sent both of our sons there from infancy through preschool, and as parents, knowing they are safe, loved, and genuinely cared for has meant everything. The teachers and staff are warm, attentive, and deeply invested in each child’s growth and development. Gary’s leadership sets the tone for the entire school - present, thoughtful, and truly committed to creating a nurturing environment for both children and families.

Our kids love it here and so do we. Teachers are amazing and really spend 1:1 time with each kiddo based on their level.

We are so lucky that this community resource exists -- and it did not happen by accident. This center has built a team of staff committed to the care and development of small children. In today's world, this is a really valuable and fragile community. At so many other centers and schools, this kind of excellence simply doesn't happen or happen well. The daycare teachers do not get enough pay and recognition for the very hard and important work that they do. Nobody should take a daycare like this for granted, not the parents, and not Goddard corporate.

We’ve loved our time at Goddard. We continue to see our kids flourishing in so many ways. They go above and beyond for the kids. This is more than a daycare, it’s a school, they’ve taught our children so much! We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for care & education for their children.

I wouldn’t want to bring my son anywhere else. This has been the dream daycare for me and my family. I feel that the staff truly cares for my son and has been so supportive to us as parents every step of the way. Selecting a daycare can be extremely difficult, but we couldn’t have ended up in a better place.

My daughters went through the Goddard School in Pittsford and had a great experience. When their brother was born 10 years later, it was one of our first calls. It is great to see the longevity of key staff members.

Great school for your kids. We've tried a few in the area and this place has been top notch. My daughter doesnt fight going at all. Teachers have been consistent with no turn over like We've seen in all the other places. They've been very interactive, and my daughter really has been learning alot. Im glad we found this gem.

My daughter has transitioned through 3 different classrooms at Goddard and we've been repeatedly impressed by the support and care of the teachers and staff at every level. My daughter's confidence and development has grown leaps and bounds since starting at Goddard, and I credit that to the nurturing educational environment at this school. Daycare is expensive, yes — but this has been some of the most important and meaningful childcare money we've spent, no question.

We’ve had a great experience at the Goddard School. Our daughter started in the infant room. The transition from being at home with us to being in a new environment was made so easy by Maddie and Gaby. Their kind and nurturing personalities made us all feel better about the change.

We love how busy they keep the babies throughout the day. We would never think to do some of the activities for our daughter that they do at daycare. It’s adorable to see all her artwork. Now that she’s in the toddler room, the babies get to go outside, and we love that our daughter gets fresh air and outside playtime during the day.

The entire staff at Goddard is kind and empathetic, and we love that our daughter is surrounded by wonderful caregivers.

We love the Goddard school of bushnells basin! My son made an immediate connection with his teacher. We love that it is so clean and the teachers are so warm and inviting! Their preschool program is full of positive enrichment and absolute magic. We adore his teacher he is so excited to go to school and learn. He loves all the staff members at the school and we love his desire to learn, and for him to share what he learns at school with us at home!

We enrolled our baby at Goddard a couple months ago and from the start we have had a fantastic experience. I was able to bring my baby in before our start date so we could both feel a little more comfortable on the first drop off day. Maddie and Gaby in the little lambs room are wonderful teachers and people! They are always welcoming and happy, they send the best pictures to update us on activities throughout the day and even create art projects that get sent home! It’s always hard leaving your baby but Maddie and Gaby make it easier because I know my baby is going to have a safe, fun and engaging day. My husband and I are so happy we chose Goddard!

We have been a Goddard family since 2015 as both of my children have attended The Pittsford Goddard School. The quality of care and education they have received over the years is unmatched. I know that my children are safe and well cared for every day by teachers invested in their future. The school is very clean and well run by the owner and directors who are on site every day. The curriculum is well designed for play and learning, and the teachers are always friendly and nurturing. The optional extracurriculars (yoga, dance, soccer, music class) are great opportunities for my kids to try new things and discover what they like. I could not be happier with our experience over the years!

We have been members of the Goddard family since 2020 and they have done an exception job with our 2 kids. We owe so much to them for the wonderful educational and social development we have witnessed.

All of the staff is so wonderful, the space is safe, clean and maintained well. My kids love it here!
