Goddard School was an excellent recommendation from an experienced educator of 40+years of experience. As I am an educator myself, I was ellated when I realized the location and incredible staff located at Goddard School in Waldorf, Maryland. As a first time parent, I was greeted with warm welcomes and always had my questions answered within an appropriate time frame. I encourage any parents who are looking for a hidden gem for a local Early Childhood Educational Center in Southern Maryland, to visit and tour the Goddard School in Waldorf Maryland location.

My daughter have been attending Goddard since before she could walk. They've been tremendously helpful with getting my daughter speech on track, gross motor skills and her sensory development. The director is very welcoming in the mornings, very helpful and communicates very well.

I’ve had 1 child graduate from kindergarten that started at age 2 and currently have an almost 2 year old that started at 7wks. Awesome teachers that actually teach my kids (abcs, numbers, colors and more) at every age, even infant age by reading/singing! I’m very pleased.

They Goddard School of Waldorf has put my mind at ease since this is the first school my sons have been to. They are very caring and have seen great improvement in my sons social skills!

From the moment you walk in the door you feel their attentive care as the Director, Ryan, office assistant Courtney and Executive Director, Hasna, greet each family intimately knowing every student and parent by name.
My child was a more mature Toddler and I had interest in her being placed in the preschool over the Todd class to keep her challenged. Upon our tour of Goddard Waldorf these fantastic ladies took time to meet me and my child and took us to every class that fit her age/skills and watched her interact until they found the right class for her. Ms. Lydia is amazing as well. She has such a welcoming spirit. Her continuous work with our son, has been pure and exemplary. His handwriting, and precision with his letters, numbers, and name are impeccable. These are just a few things and let me not forget he is reading.

Ms. Ryan Assistant Director...

My kids have been going here for about 6 months. The teachers are amazing, informative, and loving. They always communicate and are transparent about everything. I was nervous at first, reading all recent reviews, but I am comfortable with their care now. They love it and have made many new friends. Ms. Ryan the director and Ms. Courtney office assistant, are always very welcoming. Their communication is fabulous and are always there to help with any questions you may have. Ms. Hasna, the executive director, truly made us feel like family. Her experience and professionalism made me feel comfortable right away. I love the safety measures they have in place and feel super safe with my kids being here. Also, the facility was CLEAN and organized. If you are looking for quality care with a safe and fun environment, then this is the place for you. Easily the best Preschool facility in town.😀

The kindergarten program is nothing short of amazing! Ms Lydia is great with kids and very patient.
Mr. Derrick is one of my daughters favorite teachers! I’ve witnessed him remaining calm and patient with children on the autism spectrum which is amazing. He always speaks when he sees parents! Definitely great to see a good male role model in the center with the kids. I’ll be sad when my kids no longer attend The Goddard School.

We also like the extracurricular activities. I highly recommend this school as it has great curriculum for your child.

Excellent school and facility. The teachers and staff are topnotch and we could not be happier with the quality of care and education. Our child loves the Goddard School and has thrived academically here!

The Goddard School of Waldorf is very nurturing and it’s academic will have your child well prepared for grade school.

My only regret is not sending my now 3 year old to Goddard sooner. She wakes up every morning excited about going to school and she is just as excited when I pick her up in the morning. I believe children pick up on habits and behaviors of the people they are around the most so it was important for me to find a school with teachers that were professional and seemingly happy about being there for the kids everyday. I found that and so much more at Goddard. The daily reports and pictures are a great bonus as well. I am looking forward to seeing my daughter’s progress during our time here :)

The COVID-19 pandemic has permanently changed life as we know. My husband and I have been lucky enough to keep our jobs throughout the pandemic. We recently just learned that we can no longer work from home and we must return to our office jobs. With that being said, we were extremely hesitant and nervous about enrolling our children in childcare. We did a lot of research and out of all the places that we visited "virtually", The Goddard School was our number one choice. After much deliberation and sleepless nights, we decided to take the plunge and enroll our children. Let me tell you, I am so glad that we did! The Goddard School goes above and beyond! Their pick up and drop off routine is conducted outside of the school so nobody is entering the building. They're conducting daily health screenings and taking children's and staff's temperatures with a high-tech,...

I have worked at The Goddard School since the year 2017. The Goddard School is more than a school, it is a family. We treat your children as our own while in our care. You can see this in action with the daily reports that are sent home including pictures and videos of your child and the lesson plan for that day. The lessons are flexible based on each child and are unique for each classroom. This helps to ensure that your children are getting the best education possible. I LOVE what The Goddard School of Waldorf has done and continues to do in the early development of my granddaughter. She had a rough entry into the world coming in as a preemie. But the dedication of her parents pushed her to be her very best self. Now that she is at Goddard, she has gone from being the shyest little one in the room to learning to use her words to express herself. She has blossomed into such a happy and excited little girl who loves the adventure and challenge that each day brings. Goddard has the most patient and talented staff ever; God bless them!
