The Goddard School of Deerfield (Northbrook)

Great school and great staff

Very good place for kids to stay at during the day. You will not find better staff than the one in Deerfield Goddard, they are all amazing with every age group

I think the Goddard School is an amazing place to put your child’s not only the teachers are amazing, but the curriculum that they give the children are so good for their development. I would definitely recommend the Goddard School for your child.

My 1 year old daughter started at the Goddard School as her first daycare experience. She had been home for the first year with a lot of love and attention. Her journey started out not so smooth, but with the care and attention of her teachers and all the staff, she has adjusted extremely well. She learns new things and surprises us every day. I am so grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff at the school! Thank you for being the best!

I was very hesitant when taking my two and a half year old to daycare for the first time. I was nervous for her to transition from being home with a family member at all times to being in a new place without us. The Goddard staff could not have handled our situation more respectfully or delicately. They showed my daughter and my family so much love and support from the very first day. They sent me detailed updates with pictures throughout each day to keep me in the loop with all of the wonderful lessons and activities they did in the classroom. Every drop off and pick up, her teachers make me feel like they genuinely care about my daughter and her wellbeing. They greet her each morning with so much love and excitement that it even helps me with the goodbyes. Now my daughter is so excited to go to school to see her teachers and learn through engaging imaginative activities. I couldn’t...

Goddard School has so much to offer. Each day is filled with learning, play, culture, themes, and fun. The teachers and staff alike are all friendly, personable, and warm. As an educator myself, I recognize the challenge of teaching these young learners, and somehow the staff here does it everyday with a smile on their face! We are so pleased with our experience at this school and we look forward to sending our second child through in just a few months. Thank you, Goddard, for being so super awesome!

We have been very happy in our short time at Goddard Deerfield. We moved from Goddard Lincoln Park and the transition was seemless for our daughter and she has enjoyed her experience thus far.

Both my kids attended Goddard, starting when they first opened at this location, and my youngest will be graduating this summer. Over the past 5+ years we've had a wonderful, nurturing, and educational experience.

The facility itself is really clean and nice looking. The classrooms are colorful and fun for kids. There are lots of good quality toys (ex: some wooden vs all plastic) that allow for creativity and education. A nice mix of STEAM activities. In the summer they do gardening and extra outdoor time.

The teachers have been exceptional and don't seem to turnover which is a good sign that this is a good place to work also. I love that they offer additional opportunities for learning with Spanish and music. They have an indoor gym which is nice for the winter and rainy days.

This location does a good job to build community amongst the families...

The Goddard School of Deerfield Has been a warm and loving and safe place for our daughter. We are so glad that we were able to send her to school here and we have seen her grow and learn every day.

Amazing school full of staff that care about your children’s wellbeing and learning experience. We have 2 kids there who absolutely love it. We highly recommend Goddard of Deerfield.

Our son has had a wonderful experience at Goddard. Engaged, caring teachers in every classroom he's been in and he's enjoyed all the activities he gets to do with his peers. Management has also been great in working with us on some unique situations in managing his day.

We love Goddard of Deerfield. They are so professional, caring, organized and preparing my child for kindergarten. We appreciate all that they do for our family.

My experience has been excellent at the Goddard School. The teachers, directors, and owners are wonderful and do a great job. They really care about the kids and make the experience fun.

Our daughter was in another school, and was not having a great experience. Within one day at Goddard School of Deerfield she was her old happy self again. She is thriving and we have even enrolled her sister for this summer.

As a speech-language pathologist I spend a lot of time visiting daycares. The Goddard School in Deerfield is one of my favorite places to visit. The teachers and staff are incredibly warm and engaging, the learning spaces are bright, clean, and welcoming, and the children appear genuinely happy. There is a nice balance of structure and routine which helps the children feel confident and secure. Every time I visit Goddard I walk out with a smile on my face.

My 2 kids go to Goddard and love it! Great space, amazing teachers.

We've had an amazing experience at Goddard over the past two years and are looking forward to enrolling our second child in a few months. The Goddard team has done a phenomenal job building a community within the school and surrounding community. I truly feel that every teacher, director and owner cares about my child and her success. We've been so impressed by the resources provided to her and the growth she's experienced so far at Goddard Deerfield.

Today I complete four years at The Goddard School of Deerfield!

Though clichéd, its true time flies especially if you engage yourself in useful pursuits and are surrounded by wonderful people. My ability to act as a change agent, helping shape young innocent minds- my children at Goddard, gives me the satisfaction that is second to none.
These four years saw an unprecented, life-changing event- the pandemic that tested the best in each one of us for and I wish to applaud the sensitivity, nimbleness and grit of our extraordinary owners- Jane and Genia for keeping all of us safe at school. Their warmth continues to keep us all together like one large family and makes me feel special.
I am also super lucky to enjoy the empathy and support of our admin!!!
One of the many reasons that has kept me coming back each day are my co-teachers.
A big shout-out...
