The Goddard School of Cedar Park

We have been VERY happy with everything since our 6 mo daughter started at Goddard. Leaving your infant with strangers can be so hard, but the organization, cleanliness, and professionalism of the staff and teachers put our minds at ease from the very beginning. Not only is the infant room very well-run, but the curriculum program is extremely impressive. The teachers take the time to work with the students on various skills, which, at this early age, can be so helpful as she grows. This isn't just your regular daycare, I truly feel like my daughter is learning, growing, and happy when she is there, and that's all I can ask for.

Really friendly staff. Always willing to stop and listen. My kids come home with a smile ready to talk about their day!

My twins absolutely love it here. Butch and Maria, the owners, are wonderful. The teachers they hire are also very compassionate and caring. One of my children is on the autism spectrum and he can't wait to go to, "The Goddard School." Their facilities, including a gym, and the inside/outside activities are awesome. Knowing my kids are enjoying themselves and staying engaged in activities, makes me happy. I'm grateful to the owners and the teachers that care for my twins here!

Our son started here in January, following in the footsteps of his older cousins. While we knew our niece and nephew were happy here, we were very nervous to be sending our 10 week old to day care. Those fears were completely erased once we saw the level of care and attention our son receives on a daily basis. I couldn't say nicer things about the ladies in the infant room. I have never seen a baby/toddler/big kid cry when it is time to leave school, but our son does every day when it's time to go home. That's how you know your child feels happy and safe in his environment. We didn't really "shop" their pricing since we basically knew we would be sending him here, but I can tell you they are worth every penny. Thank you Goddard School!!

My son goes to PreK prep here and he absolutely loves it. His teacher (Ms Taylor) is amazing and I like the fact that I get daily feedback and lesson plan info. My kid isn't much of a talker when it comes to what he did in school, this way I can ask him more specific questions other than "What did you do today?" I wish we lived closer because I would love to send him to Kinder here.

We have had the good fortune of having both our girls grow up with the Goddard School. The teachers are bright and cheery, welcome each child and parent by name and instantly put the children at ease. The daily structure and learning environment have really given the girls a head start in elementary school.
Our youngest went through the kindergarten readiness program this summer and her independence and excitement for her new adventure are evident.
We have also enjoyed the enrichment activities and camps the school has provided.
Both girls still want to stop and hug their previous teachers upon entry so we know they have had wonderful experiences graduating from the infant room to kindergarten.

Our children have been attending Goddard for over 3 years and it was not until we moved them to a different school that I truly appreciated the quality of this establishment. We moved them to another school in the area that had more convenient hours and a lower cost, but we sacrificed in teacher and student quality. Seeing our error, we returned our children to Goddard back in August and couldn't be happier. We have since had to leave Goddard due to job-related relocation, but highly recommend this location to all parents. The owners are always present and personally engaged with the education of students. The significance of this cannot be overstated. A school with fully engaged owners will outperform schools with remote owners every time.

We had a great experience at the Goddard School with both of our children. The curriculum and staff are best in class.

We recently switched to The Goddard School from another child care center. The previous center had several issues with their faculty and it was making a negative impact on my children. In fact, the eldest was afraid of teachers and my youngest would cry nonstop for several minutes after I dropped her off. Needless to say, we're extremely grateful for having made the switch. The girls are excited to go to school now. My youngest talks nonstop about "My Carla" every morning when we drive to school. It is so refreshing to see this turnaround in my girls. The Goddard School is so organized and I feel like my girls are taken care of and actually learning instead of just being tossed into a daycare. We also receive pictures and reports about their progress throughout the day, which was a welcomed surprise! This team knows exactly what they're doing and my family is much better off...

I love this school so much! My daughter has been attending since she was 2. The owners, Butch and Maria, are so kind and professional and always available, and they are clearly very hands on with the day to day operations of the school. All of my daughter's teachers have been wonderful. My daughter is on the later end when it comes to potty training, and her teachers have been so helpful and patient, which I am very grateful for. She always has something interesting that she learned about to tell me when I pick her up. Even after we moved to another house that was further away we continue to bring our daughter here. I'm so glad we found this school.

Our son went to Pre-K and Kindergarten at Goddard Cedar Park. The experience was wonderful for both him and us as parents. He learned a lot and we were surprised at how well he was reading, and at his math skills at the end of K. The staff is professional and helpful and we liked all of his teachers very much. I would definitely recommend Goddard for Pre-K or private Kindergarten!!

OVERVIEW: We have our children at the Goddard school- Cedar Park location since March of 2011. The experience we have had has been incredible from every aspect. First, a bit about us- my wife and I both work in education- she is a Spanish teacher and I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist. On a professional basis, I have served public and private schools and preschools throughout central Texas so I know many schools from the inside. Also, we have had our kids at three preschools in the Austin area since the fall of 2009. I can tell you, from both a professional and personal perspective that the Goddard School in Cedar Park is the best there is. Let's break it down. My two boys have been in Goddard since the school opened in 2007. My youngest son started when he was 5 months old and my other son was 3 years old. I have had such fantastic experiences there. The teachers are educated and professional. The director and owners are easy to talk to and very open to suggestions or concerns, although the ones I had were trivial. Both of my sons have excelled there. There are events every month such as a puppet show, archeologist visit, etc.... The facility is clean and organized. I would recommend the school to anyone. You definitely get your moneys worth. There is an optional lunch program that delivers fresh lunches daily. The ratios are less than the state allows so there is more individualized care. We found Goddard School when we moved from Georgia. Our son has been in their 4yr old class and school readiness program. The teachers are great, they work on strengthening our sons learning ability everyday. Butch and Maria are great owners, and have put together a strong staff from the front office, to the real teachers in the class room. It is truly an early education based program that has kept our sons brain stimulated from day one.
