The Forge: Lemont Quarries

This is a great place to spend the day with kids and teens. They have lots of different fun activities, the staff is friendly and helpful, and on a weekday, it wasn't super crowded. It was everything the ads say, and more. On a 90+ degree day, I especially appreciated that they had large coolers filled with ice water at almost every activity. So I have now been to The Forge Lemont Quarries twice and both experiences were great ones...

The first time we went with a group of college friends and our kids on a Sunday morning in summer and our kids (ages 3 - 11, boys and girls) did the Two Towers Kids Zone area for 45 minutes. Our kids had a great time and there were a lot of activities to do in that area for all ages/ability levels. For this day, we purchased tickets in advance for a specific timeframe online. It was very easy, we checked in and got wrist bands to go into that area.

The second time I went on behalf of our PTO organization, as I had organized the Father-Son Event for our Elementary School and it was there. Jeremie and his team at The Forge took great care of us.
