Growing Kids Chesterton

We have had a good experience with the Growing Kids Chesterton site. The teachers are caring and willing to help resolve any issues in a timely manner. The management staff is always available for questions and concerns. A special appreciation for PS1 teachers Miss Mia and Miss Alexis for going above and beyond with my daughter.

Megan, Mandy, Delisa, Ms. Connie, Ms. Shannon all have been so wonderful! I really appreciate them❤️

Growing kids has been such a great place for our kids to learn and grow from ms Jessi and ms Abbi, ms Alexis, ms Colleen ms Sonja and ms Mia, we are so appreciate of all they have done and continue to do!

Amazing daycare! All 3 of my sons have attended Growing Kids Chesterton. My oldest started when they opened in 2015 and many of the same teachers are still there for my 3 year-old. I know youngest really enjoys seeing Ms. Kim, Ms. Shalena, Ms. Sonia, and the director Ms. Shannon. It’s clear the staff truly care about the children’s development and well-being. Highly recommend to any parent!

Our family is thriving at Growing Kids. They truly care about the kids. Miss Kim and Miss Shaleena are bringing out the genius in my child. Miss Melinda loves the babies and we love her!

I have loved sending my son to Growing Kids. He has had some challenges that I appreciate the staff so much for helping him with. Colleen and Sonja were excellent at helping him acclimate to a new environment and gave him so much love and care when he had a hard time. Colleen was kind and generous. Sonja was able to hug him and support him through all of his big feelings. When he moved rooms on his birthday, we were scared it wouldn't go well and Megan and Shannon helped to create a plan of action that would help the transition go smoothly. Finn and Kristina have been godsends for his growth and development. Finn is firm but loving. Kristina has been able to get him to open up. I'm so thankful for all of them!

We love the growing kids staff so much! Our kids look forward to seeing their teachers every day, and as parents we love knowing that our kids are well taken care of and adored. Special shout out to Ms. Colleen, Ms. Sonja, Ms. Abbi, Ms. Jessica, and Ms. Melinda.

My daughter has been attending Growing Kids since 9 months; she is now freshly 3 years old! From 6 to 9 months, she was at another daycare, which was an awful experience. My husband and I scrambled looking for safe, attentive, and welcoming place for our baby. We were incredibly lucky that Growing Kids Chesterton had an opening in their infant room when she was 9 months old.

When my husband and I toured the Chesterton location, we were in awe of the atmosphere; the people were friendly, it was clean and well maintained, and the children looked so happy.

On her first day in the infant room, our daughter acclimated so well and was cared for with the love and attention of a family member.

Growing Kids Chesterton is truly a fantastic daycare to enroll your child. The teachers, like Jessi, are so great with the kids. My child has learned so much at a young age and has gained confidence because of their daily guidance. Shannon and Meghan are great Directors who are very attentive to your child's needs and parents concerns. 5 stars across the board!

There is nothing better then when your once cling on toddler willing runs into school because of how much she loves her teachers! Ms. Jazmine and Ms. Mandy have gone above and beyond to make our family and most importantly our toddler feel supported, loved and cared for since we’ve arrived at Growing Kids. From the first greetings at check-in to the daily updates on the APP and inevitable “boo boo” notifications that come from toddlers being toddlers, we are so pleased and grateful with the love this place has for our girl. Strongly recommend Chesterton location to any parent!

MaryAnna is my daughter's preschool teacher and ever since I enrolled her, she takes direction better and she forming her words. She really is thriving here. We love it here and I truly appreciate MaryAnna!

My daughter went here when she was a toddler and is back now for after school care. They've also been so sweet and she adores the teachers. Ms. Shannon remembered us after two years being away.

Our son and family loves Growing Kids Chesterton! The staff work hard, love the kids as their own, and really go above and beyond on making special events and holidays special! Our son has had multiple teachers that we all love! From Ms. Jessie to Ms Mia and now Ms. Maria. All have been truly wonderful!

The staff in the infant room, Ms. Melinda and Ms. Adryana, are amazing. We can tell that they really love and care about our son and we always feel comfortable when he is at daycare with them! They treat him like he is their own.

Growing kids is awesome. Our kids absolutely love their teachers, Ms. Kim, Ms. Shalena, Ms. Grace & Ms. Jesse! They love Main Street and everyone at the school works hard to put in extra events, from a Halloween party to a Christmas concert. The kids learn a lot and have a great time every day.

We are so grateful for Adryana and Melinda in the infant classroom, as well as Shannon, Megan and Keila at the front desk. As a first time mom, I was nervous about the transition, but their calm, attentive, and supportive approach made everything feel effortless. Our daughter has been so well cared for, and their kindness has given our family tremendous peace of mind. We truly appreciate all that they do every day.

As a first-time mother, finding a child care facility that I was comfortable leaving my child with was a huge challenge. You hear of so many horror stories. Not being in control of their every move from infant to pre-k is a huge stressor.
From the moment my daughter was born, I began asking my doctors and pediatricians for their recommendations on where to go. In my opinion, personal experiences and referrals are the best.
The moment we stepped into the Chesterton location, my spouse and I instantly felt welcomed and comfortable. Children playing, no signs of fear. Miss Shelena did our initial tour and did it very well. Explained everything we needed to know, answered questions, and, as a first timer, made the entire experience a positive one.

It has been so amazing since my son has been coming to growing kids for the last 3 years. Ms. Kim being his first teacher. The structure she put in her class and love for teach absolutely great. My son speech wasnt so great at first. But over the years he been here it absolutely progressed. Ms Mia being his second teacher is one of the best. Simply the love she spreads for each of the kids is very inspiring. My son loves her so dearly. Now hes in Ms Kennedys and Ms Chaneys class room. The structure they have. Very helpful for me as a single mother. They get me and understand me. More like a grandmother and auntie to my son. They help with every aspect. Each and every single teacher my son has had gets and understand these children. Idk what I would be doing if my son never gotten enrolled into here. Shout out to Ms Megan and Shannon also. My daughter transitioned the infant room at another daycare to the toddler room at Growing Kids when she was a year old. We were so nervous about this transition because she was in "stranger danger" development mode and was very scared with anyone who wasn't mom and dad. But her teachers (Ms. Jazmine and Ms. Mandy) made Emma feel so comfortable. We were able to bring in some comfort items for the first week to keep her feeling at home. By the second week, we got a call that she had fallen asleep in the arms of Ms. Jazmine. Our experience with Growing Kids has been nothing but amazing. Ms. Shannon is a fantastic director and very open with parents. I started my then 1 and a half year old at Growing Kids Chesterton and she’s been there ever since. She’s four years old and I feel like due to their curriculum she is ahead of the game for her age. She shows an interest in reading, tracing, can write her name and has a great love of learning. She especially loves the science experiments they do in class. She often says things her teachers do to encourage this. Ms Mia, Ms Kim, “Mama Sue”, and now Ms Kayla and Ms Maria of her “big kid class” as she likes to call it. I have seen personalized care and a lot of one on one time given to Avery to assist her in learning that we would not get in another setting. She has been through a lot personally this year and when I made the staff aware of some big changes in her life I felt like they gave her grace and a lot of extra love. Also, a safe place to talk about those changes as they developed....

The enthusiasm of the staff members were clearly displayed through participation at the one day learning conference. The WHY we are in business and the blessings, as we serve over 2000 children and their families in Northern Indiana. I loved the learning materials folders displaying the company values. Michael Garatoni's, President of Growing Kids, presentation helped emphasis those values the core of its business. As well as recognizing the impact we all play a part of in life. May all children everywhere only worry about who sits in the middle seat.

I am happy to share our experience with you from Growing Kids Chesterton. We have attended for a year or more. My kids have attended daycare, after school care and summer camp here. We are definitely happy with the services and curriculum. Summer camp is very exciting for the kids because they do a lot of outdoor activities and field trips. My daughter’s daycare teacher teaches kids a little Spanish. May not seem like a lot, but some variability in their routine is positive and keeps my daughter interested. Overall, the staff are phenomenal. My kids will attend camp here and after school care until they age out. Also, the kids and I love all of the activities and events that Growing Kids Chesterton host. Overall, we have had a blast and look forward to both kids being in after school care.
