Stepping Stones Academy has been an amazing experience for our family. Our 4 year old started last year and Ms. Ruby and Ms. Charlotte have constantly delivered above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience for our son. Ms. Ruby and Ms. Charlotte always flexed with our child’s needs and provided both structure and discipline but delivered in a loving and safe manner. We are so impressed. We highly recommend Stepping Stones Waipahu to families looking for a caring, reliable, and safe environment for their child.

I feel very fortunate to have had both my kids at stepping Stones. Both of my children started at stepping Stones at 9 months and spent most of their time there until kindergarten. The teachers are more then employees, they are like ohana and aunties. They care for our children so much and give them the very best as if they were their own. I feel safe with my children at stepping Stones. I know they're in an environment that will make them Excel and learn because they are loved and cared for. I'm grateful for them helping raise my children to be good people.

I loved Steppingstones because they’re hours of operations was helpful because as essential worker parents our nursing hours varied but it worked so well with the school schedule. The teachers were wonderful. I appreciated lunch bunch because it helped our busy schedule & they provided nutritional food & snacks and milk.

When our son first started with Alma we thought he would be too much of a handful but he actually did so well. Thank you Alma for being fun and adaptable. I appreciate that he was pottie trained in school in collaboration because it would’ve been difficult just on our own.

When he moved up to Vee’s class he opened up more and his personality came out. He absolutely loves Vee and Kelly. They are so good with him especially because he is a stubborn person that has his own schedule. In this class, he learned how to be in a group but...

Stepping Stones is exceptional, every teacher is amazing. Ms Anca takes the time and really shows the love for every kid, my son really improved in his academics and became very social. My husband and I liked the curriculum where the students would really act as if they were camping, recycling, or learn and act in another fun way. My son graduates, but in a way we are saddened for the fact that he won't be around such good mentorship and we will really miss Ms Anca, Ms Soo and Ms V.

Stepping Stones Academy is a wonderful preschool. The teachers at Waipahu are very nice, friendly, helpful, and nurturing.
The school itself is clean, organized, and secure.
Charlotte is wonderful to work with as she is very accommodating and always available to answer any questions.
I would definitely recommend Stepping Stones Academy to friends and family.

Our daughter started out in a different (more expensive) daycare but we weren't totally happy with it so we switched her to Stepping Stones. It was one of the best decisions we made as parents! The space (downtown) is open and airy and the staff are excellent. Our daughter started out in the infants room with Ms D., Ms. Christie, and Ms. Renee, then moved on to the toddler room with Ms. Ellie and Ms. Stacia, and ended with Ms. Keesha and Ms. Keri in the Explorers room. They were all fantastic. Ms. Keesha especially took our child's intellectual development very seriously and was always communicating with us regarding lesson plans, developmental milestones, etc. Our daughter's cousin goes to Stepping Stones now as well and she loves it. Thank you Stepping Stones!

This is an outstanding daycare and preschool facility. They do an excellent job of keeping the children safe and healthy (especially important during these times of COVID-19) and of nurturing their emotional and intellectual lives. Our family could not have asked for a better, more holistic environment for our child!

My daughter absolutely loved going to this daycare, she started to love learning and was excited to see her friends every morning. When there were problems the staff made sure my daughter felt safe and cared for.

Our daughter, Regan (3), has been at Stepping Stones for a couple of years now. They have always been wonderful. Regan has built attachments to her teachers who she still fondly remembers. Our admiration of Stepping Stones only grew when the COVID-19 pandemic arrived on our shores. In the face of adversity, Stepping Stones became an indispensable resource. I honestly do not know what we would have done without them, their courage, their sacrifice. They kept their doors open for the children of essential workers, and we will be forever grateful.

we absolutely love Ms. Anca who teaches the Pre-K classroom. her teaching style is very inventive and hands on. she truly cares about her students and is very passionate about their success. she is flexible in teaching and works with each students learning style. we have seen our son change so much since starting. he is learning so much everyday and we are so grateful for her compassion for her job! also we absolutely love her love for pictures and look forward to seeing them every night!

We moved to the island in December of 2019 and we were trying to find a preschool that had close to the same curriculum from our son's previous school. We found the stepping stone academy and took a tour and instantly knew this was the best place for him. He is in Ms. Ana's pre-k classroom and we absolutely love her teaching style! She is creative, interactive and is so passionate about her students and teaching. She has made our son's transition into her classroom seamless and has made us as parents feel we made the best decision for his school. I loved Stepping Stones Academy, the teachers were so friendly and my son always looked like he was having fun! The pictures throughout the day really put my worry at ease because I’d always see what he was doing and I really liked the reports that were emailed of his day at the end of the day. My son even cried when saying goodbye today to all of his friends! We will miss you all!

I love Stepping Stones Academy for the love and support that they provide for my child. As a new parent one of my main concerns was if my child would be in a safe and caring environment that would allow for my child to learn and grow. And unless you're there with them, it's almost impossible to know if your child is receiving that care. Thankfully Stepping Stones has implemented steps in their program that inform us, the parents, on how they're caring for our children. Not only that, but they take the time to verbally communicate with us on a daily basis and ask for feedback from us as well on how things are at home. This gives me crucial feedback on what they're encountering during the day, and helps me to know that my child is being cared for, and is developing, in a safe and friendly environment. Both of my kids started attending Stepping Stones in Kaka'ako after we moved to Honolulu. My daughter was in the Junior Kindergarten and my son is still attending the infant classroom. We absolutely love this pre-school. My daughter was in Ms. Anca's and Ms. Soo's class. They both made my daughter feel very welcome and she was able to get over her initial shyness and find friends very quickly. I was so grateful for that because my daughter never liked going to pre-school and used to cry at every drop off which was very frustrating. Now she wanted to go to school even on weekends! She also grew academically, overall we were very satisfied and our daughter was too. The infant class is the best in Honolulu in my opinion. It was recommended to us by a friend.
