The teachers and staff here are wonderful. Not only do they provide amazing care, they make learning fun and exciting. Clean facility. Easy parking options for drop off and pick up, there is street parking or a 15 minute grace period in the garage.

We are so grateful for the incredible care our daughter Alina received at Steppingstones Academy from just two months old until she was nearly two years old. The environment is incredibly loving and nurturing, and it was immediately clear that the teachers genuinely cared about her well-being and development.
Alina always looked forward to going to daycare each day and consistently came home happy and content. On her last day, the heartfelt emotions from her teachers showed us just how deeply they loved and cared for her.
We especially want to thank her wonderful teachers—Ms. Lei, Ms. Cheryl, Kiara, and Jazleen—along with all the other caring staff who helped shape Alina into the sweet, joyful girl she is today.

Stepping Stones Academy Honolulu is such a great school! Our older son graduated from there and is now thriving in elementary school. Our younger son is still there and he comes home happy everyday. All of the teachers have been wonderful especially Ms. V. She constantly challenges the kids but also helps them when they need help. We are so appreciative of everything the school has provided for our kids.

My daughter had a wonderful experience at Stepping Stone Academy in Honolulu! She was enrolled in the Junior Kindergarten program, and from the very beginning, we felt welcomed and supported. All of the teachers were caring, patient, and truly invested in helping the children learn and grow.

During her time there, I noticed a huge improvement in her structure, confidence, and readiness for kindergarten. The curriculum helped prepare her academically, while the daily routines taught her important skills like listening, following directions, and independence.

One of the biggest benefits was the opportunity to socialize with other children her age. She developed friendships, learned how to interact positively with her peers, and became much more comfortable in group settings.

I would like to thank Stepping Stone Academy for the positive impact they have had on my daughter’s development. In just three months, I have noticed a significant improvement in her communication skills. Prior to enrolling her, I was concerned that she may have been experiencing developmental delays. I was initially hesitant due to the cost of tuition, but I quickly realized how valuable early social interaction and structured learning can be for a child’s growth and development.

One of the things I appreciate most is the flexibility they offer with drop-off and pick-up times. Being open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. makes it extremely convenient for working parents and provides peace of mind after a long workday.

I been with Stepping stones Academy in Waipahu since 2021. I put my 2 young children starting from infants all the way to pre school. All the teachers and helpers are really great. Also the director Julie is so awesome. There is so much more I can say! From all the different stages of classes my children has learned a lot from stepping stones. I highly recommend stepping stones in Waipahu as best the hours are great if you work from 8-5 and you need to get to town and back. You and your children will love steeping stones.😊

We had an amazing time with SSA Waipahu. My daughter stayed there for almost two years. The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. A special shoutout goes to Ms. Julie and Ms. Flo for their unwavering support and dedication.

Our son started with the program at 2 years old. The school was great. Amazing communication all through their app, constant pictures and updates. Amazing staff that really cares for your child. Not a single bad experience with any of the staff.

This daycare (Waipahu location) really set the bar high for our expectations for future daycares. They worked with us in every way possible to accommodate my son’s needs and development. He always seemed happy to go to daycare, no crying at drop off or pick up. The staff is awesome. Not only did they remember his name fast they also remember parents names. Their app is easy to use and post updates so when you’re at work you can check in when you get the chance and see if your little one has eaten, napped and any pictures posted for the day. I feel like the staff enjoys what they do and it shows through their care for kids. Highly recommend.

Stepping Stones Waipahu has been nothing short of an amazing experience for our family. We want to give a huge shout-out to Julie, who consistently went above and beyond to help us secure a spot for our baby. Even with our last-minute request, she was incredibly accommodating, kind, and welcoming. She greets us by name every single drop-off and pick-up which is something truly impressive given how many families she supports daily.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to Auntie Anna, who cared for our baby as if she were her own. Her warmth, patience, and genuine love gave us so much peace of mind as new parents. And to the entire infant team, we want to thank you for creating such a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment for our little one.

Our son has really enjoyed coming to Stepping Stones! He just started coming to this school a month ago and we have enjoyed seeing him happy and thriving. The structured classes allow for kids to grow and also allows parents to be part of their journey which is very nice and special. As parents we get to see every day photos of their activities as well as lessons learned which makes it a fantastic way to talk to them and engage at home about what they learned that day!

We sent our daughter to Stepping Stones Waipahu from infancy all the way through pre-k. She loved all her teachers and had a great experience. Our parental experience was also excellent. I always felt informed of what was going on in the center and always trusted our daughter was in safe hands.

Our family had both of our kids here for a total of 9 years. Appreciate the staff for taking good care of our keiki and helping them learn while they grow.

We are so grateful for our time at Stepping Stones Academy Waipahu. My son was enrolled here for a little over a year and he loved it! My favorite part of the day was receiving updates and pictures from the staff via the app. As a parent, it’s hard to leave your child in someone else’s hands, but the level of love and attention he received here made that transition so much easier.

Admin was also part of the positive experience. Ms Julie was always responsive, and accommodating, especially when our schedule and needs changed. Her communication and flexibility to our family is very much appreciated.

If you're a military family, I recommend using your childcare benefits on SSA Waipahu. Ms. Julie made sure all necessary forms were filled and turned in on time- she is very knowledgable on the whole process.
