The Goddard School - Spring Garden, Philadelphia

The GS is a rhizomatic environment where kids have a safe and clean space to learn and develop with other kids and staff who support them and other staff at all stages of child’s growth and development. Teachers are flexible and attentive. Principal, Assistant Principal and owner are thoughtful, kind and down to earth directly involved in all aspects of school’s functioning and success. I will be biased and say that our classroom teachers - since they stepped into their roles - Ms Laine and Mr Hatton have been a revelation. They are superb and connecting with kinds; erudite; creative; bright! Their patience and empathy have made a huge difference for our son. We love their projects that range from yoga, to art, to biology… they are engaging and challenging, and we always have lots to talk about at home. We feel privileged to be a part of the community they construct in the classroom that grows seamlessly into the overall school project. Thank you!
