I saw their listing for a house that had all the main things I was looking for in a rental home. I scheduled a showing, it was easy to set up and pretty straight forward. When I showed up and started looking through it seemed ok until I checked the sink, and the toilets. There was molding sewage, poorly installed sinks, and broken windows. When I tried to call about it and ask if they would be willing to fix this before move in they said (I believe it was) Monica would call me back Monday. Come Monday at around 4pm still no call, so I call once more, and again they said they would leave a message and Monica would call. It has been over 2 weeks now and I haven't heard anything from them. What seems like a good option online could be very deceptive for those who cannot do an in person tour. This company took over managing a property my 85 year old grandfather has rented for over 15 years. They attempted to force him out of his residence with less than a months notice and no written notice so they could update his apartment in November. He was paid up through December. When he requested a formal written notice as required by law, none was provided. Forcing an 85 year old veteran out of his residence in the middle of winter, and trying to do it with less than a months notice is completely unprofessional. He's been a model tenant. He finally received notice in December to vacate by January 18th and we will be moving him elsewhere. This should have been handled much better when dealing with an elderly veteran. Read more >

This company recently took over the property management responsibilities I rented from. There was no correspondence regarding their takeover. I have put in several maintenance requests and requested someone contact me to address rental agreement. NO CALLS YET AFTER 2 going on 3 months since the switch. I have a whole on the side of my home that is causing my bills to increase as it gets colder. SCUDO is not professional and don't care about their tenants. Read more >

I do not feel that this company is professional at all! Last month it was brought to my attention SCUDO would be taking over the property. I contacted their office several times, spoke with the receptionist, but no follow up call from management. They request down deposit even though that was paid to previous management company, which was the reason for me calling. Fast forward, I have put in three maintenance requests and have not received any follow-up nor has anyone contacted me since I found out about these people. I don't even know if these people are real because I have not received any contact from this company other than them requested my money! To me this company is unprofessional, unreliable and does not value their renters. Read more >
