I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support we received from Bill Saunders of Saunders-Dwyer Funeral Home during such a sad, sorrowful time. My father (step) passed away in Florida, but it was his wish to be laid to rest in New Bedford, Ma. Planning an out-of-state passing could of been impossible, but Bill, the funeral director, was nothing short of amazing. He handled every detail with genuine care and compassion. I am also thankful to Bill as he went out of his way to use his personal cell phone to do Face Time so we could attend from out of state. A year ago Bill helped us pre-plan Moms funeral which made it so easy when the inevitable day came. He was able to accommodate our date needs in a short turn around since we had grandchildren heading back to college who wanted to be there. Losing our mother was the hardest moment of our lives, and Saunders-Dwyer truly carried us through it with compassion, patience, and genuine kindness.
