Askew’s Landing RV Campground

The campground has really made an amazing turnaround under the new management! We were excited to find such a comfortable, safe, clean, family environment with excellent service.

Over Memorial Day weekend, my son camped with his Boy Scout troop while the rest of the family were in our travel trailer. The troop was able to perform flag ceremonies and even a flag retirement.

The sites are well-maintained. The facilities are clean. We felt safe and comfortable all weekend. It’s good to see the campground returning to the spirit of the original owners and the site of many of my childhood memories!

Did not have a room, stayed in our RV. Great Memorial Day services! They held to the true meaning for the holiday. Clean and safe. Great hosts.

Nice park to stay for the night/passing through. Off the beaten path, quiet, dog and family friendly. And as like all our stops, from CA to The Keys and (heading) back - very friendly and helpful people.

Askew's was beautiful! We loved the wildlife and the dog parks were nice and big. The grounds were immaculate and there's a LOT of mowing to be done.

Camped for the night & wishes we could have stayed longer. So, so helpful. Plan to return.

First time in Mississipi and Askew's Landing was a great place to stay! Nice RV and campground. Beautiful grounds, lakes, pool. Wish we could stay for Memorial Weekend as they have a lot of military honoring and family activities planned! Great hosts! Great value! I should add that they can accommodate big rigs and have full hookups available.

Beautiful campground conveniently located right off of I-20! Super family friendly. Would definitely stay there again!

We so enjoyed 3 days of camping in our travel trailer. Location choices were deep in the trees, in the shade, on the lawn, next to the lake. The people who worked there, Holly, Mike, and Mary were so friendly, helpful and charming. The place is so beautiful with the lake with tons of geese and ducks, which come up and love getting food. There’s opportunities to Fish and Kayak or swim in the fantastic saltwater pool. We would’ve loved to have had a dog because there is a wonderful dog park with all kinds of equipment in it for them. There is a playground, cornhole,horse shoes, laundry, and we were able to ride our bikes around the area for about 8 miles. It was absolutely perfect!

We are truck camping on this trip and needed bathrooms and showers. I could not find the laundry, but I also didn't want to do the laundry, so that may have been why. 😊 I found the location remote and quiet. That is precisely what we were looking for; we would stay again if we were in the area.

My family spent almost two weeks at the camp ground and loved every moment. The couple taking care of the grounds are just great and so helpful. We will be back as soon as we can.

Very quiet and close to I-20. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

We had a campsite by the lake. Beaut6, quiet, & comfortable. We would definitely return.

We are in Edwards MS at #Askew's Landing and Campground. Their claim to "MS Best kept secret" is not a misnomer. You drive about 3 miles from the interstate back in the countryside, and it is very green and lush.

As you approach the park (which is also a Harvest Host) you see a lake to the right. As you keep driving, there is a small pond with ducks, geese and a couple oh herons. The park is large with several separate areas for most any size rig. Some are shaded some are not. They offer everything from no hookups (HH) or 20/30/50 amp fhu. Full hookups run around $40 a night. Clean, you ask? Very! Nice pool, clean bathrooms, laundry and good sized dog park. Various playground equipment for the kiddies. Very quiet and everyone is friendly. There are some permanents, but they too are very well kept.

We'd been camping in Alabama and were on our way home. Tired we pulled into this wonderful hidden gem of a place. We had no reservation and only needed 1 night. They were very friendly and helpful. We got a nice spot near the pool and office so it would be easy to pull out the next morning. We were repeatedly invited to that days activities. It's a very family oriented place. Tons of shade trees, peace and quiet. We are already planning a trip back to stay a couple nights.

We were only staying overnight, so we weren't able to take advantage of everything this park offers. First, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were guided right to our site. The gentleman who guided us offered to bring firewood, water, or whatever else we might need to our site. I've never had an offer like that before. The park is beautiful. There is playground equipment around for the kids. The dog park even has some agility equipment. We'll be staying again next time we come through. We highly recommend this park.

This is a great campground and I wish we had more time to enjoy it. We stopped for one night on the way to TX for the eclipse and came in late, so we didn't have time to fully enjoy all they had to offer. Sandy was especially helpful to us in our after-hours arrival and showed us where to park and how to best get into the site. The sites themselves are just grassy areas with hookups and ours was a little tedious to get into with our 36-ft Class A, but otherwise it was fine. Others in our family traveling with us stayed in the so-called "cabin" which is actually a NICE 2-bedroom house. WAY better than any "cabin" I've ever been in. We plan to visit again, and stay for longer, when our travels take us back that way.

The campground was clean and very well kept! The adults in our group appreciated how quiet the campground was at night.

We will certainly keep Askew’s Landing on our campsite list.

There was lots of room to set up our tent. The salt water pool felt wonderful after a long day traveling. Our dogs loved running in the big dog dog park.

What a beautiful campground!! They definitely take pride in maintaining it.

I almost passed up on it because a review on RV Life app mentioned it was a 2 mile dirt road to get to the campground, which is not the case. So glad I moved forward with the reservation. Wish I would’ve had time to stay longer.

We really enjoyed our short visit at Askew’s Landing. It is quiet and has a very secluded feel even though it is not too far off the interstate. We recommend it and we will be back!

Convenient stop for us on a cross country trip - just a few bumpy miles off the interstate on a pretty drive. Staff was very friendly. Grounds are beautiful, peaceful, well-kept. Large spaces for RVs of all sizes. Lots of fun activities. Looks like a good place for family camping. We stayed as Harvest Host guests but their prices are very reasonable.

We enjoyed being there . didn't want to come home but when vacation ends that's what u have to do.thanks to Mary n Neal and Tina and her husband they were very very nice and understanding.they r the kind of people we need in this world they had the best attitudes and great personalities.i miss them already.cant wait to see them again.we had a great time.love the house .I wish I had a house like that one . absolutely beautiful inside n out.fish was biting but that's no one's fault.i wouldn't of wanted to get out of water either as hot as it was.thanks again for all the help y'all gave us.cant wait to come again .they have a store there that is awesome.

A quaint campground tucked away from busy roads. Eventhough it is close to access roads you do not hear traffic.
There is a historical marker right by the office. If you are not in a rush I recommend staying a few days to enjoy the lake, pool, playground and all the other facilities.
The spots are easy to get a camper of any size.
