Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Friendly people. Quiet, rural campground. Easy off the freeway. Affordable. It would be a great place to take a family camping, and it was an easy stopover place for us. FHU too!

This was like a family reunion for me!
I made a lot of new friends/family! This is the best RV park I’ve been to yet!

We had a great time despite some rain. Employees were very polite and helpful. They were constantly cleaning and keeping up the group. Nice ponds you can fish in. Dog parks and dog fences you can rent. That’s a nice plus! Negatives-really need more gravel or concrete pads. Kind of a muddy mess but I’m sure it’s in the future. Clean pool area and bathrooms. Well stocked general store. Peaceful and quiet.

Good overnight stay.Very nice staff.Restrooms were clean and well maintained. One occupants wanted to slam their RV door 85 times amd shine a flashlight around but it was fairly early so it wasn't a big deal..would definitely stay again when passing thru.

A beautiful peaceful location. Unfortunately we were only able to spend one night. We shall return.

My husband had to be in Jackson for business so the kids and I tagged along. We stayed for a full week and had a great time, but their kindness and service stood out more than anything. Due to traffic we knew we weren’t going to make it the day we reserved so I texted to let them know we would be there in the morning. They called and said they could move our reservation back a day so we would still get the full 6 days, and we could check in as early as we needed. Upon arrival we were greeted and told the site we chose probably wouldn’t suit our needs as it wasn’t very level and we were pulling a large rv, so they found us another site and made sure no one booked the one next to us because I was concerned our dogs would bark. They were extremely kind and helpful. Plus the park is so clean and nice, and my kids had a blast running around and playing all week. I highly recommend this park!

We stayed overnight in this park and we will return. They were able to accommodate our 60’ total length in a pull thru site. The park is about 4 miles off interstate 20 in a cozy little setting. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Wonderful gem of an RV Campground. It is quiet, tranquil, the facilities were clean, and the owners were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we are in the position to do so!

They call this Mississippi’s hidden gem and I would absolutely agree with that. Stay here if you want wide spaces, very friendly staff. Our favourite was a covered bridge that let you walk across the pond into a land spit. We’ve never seen anything like it.

Great campground! We stayed here in a RV on our way to visit family. We arrived late at night and easily found our spot. Online reservations and check in made the whole process seamless. We woke up to a beautiful campground surrounding a beautiful lake. Will make this a regular stop and try to fit in a few extra days to stay longer

Convenient to Vicksburg and Jackson MISSISSIPPI. Quiet and friendly.

Full hookup 50 amp. Campground was very nice and clean. Great space for families. Plenty to do for kids. While we were there, they had movie night under a pavilion, and a game day. Nice playground too. Fishing available at the lake, kayak rentals. Swimming pool looked nice & "clean". The general store was nicely stocked. Two nice dog parks. Nice clean laundry room, very reasonably priced. Campground is set back in a rural setting which is nice not to be by a railroad or listening to heavy road traffic. STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY. I would recommend others to check it out.

It is indeed a heart welcoming place not only for adults but also to the kids! Accommodation and crews were very friendly. The service was great. We really enjoyed our stay in couple of hours. Pretty sure we’ll be back! God speed!

We really enjoyed our stay here. This place is perfect for relaxation and making connection with nature.

Very cool and unexpected campground. We loved watching the birds and animals in the water. If you are a fisherman , this is the place for you. The yurts are extremely cute !
The owners and staff are super nice and helpful.
The grounds are clean and well kept but if it is rainy it will be very muddy. However the mud drys fast.
We will stay here again
And, ice cream- they have very good yummy ice cream

Had a nice level space for my rv.

I moved in February 9th and met my friend Juli. We hit it off straight away and have so much in common. They have activities to get the whole campground involved and having fun! They also have a place where they make big bonfires to allow people to come together and meet new people. Sandy and Brian are awesome managers. They will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to have a great stay. In the office, they have bags of sand that have gems in them. You take them outside to mine them. It’s pretty cool.

Nice lakeside campground surrounded by towering pines, family friendly amenities, dog park and pool. Loved watching the geese, ducks and other birds. Close enough to Vicksburg or Jackson for day trips or just hang with nature to enjoy this hidden gem. Front office staff friendly and accommodating.

Awesome… just awesome! Service was exceptional. The grounds were clean and serene. Wish we had stayed longer
