Askew’s Landing RV Campground

This is a huge campground that just about has it all. Pond, lake, dog park, big green spaces, tall trees, pool, great people, etc. Very easy access as it is close to I-20 but you can't hear any traffic at all. Very peaceful.

Wir hatten eine tolle Nacht! Da ich Angst habe am Wald zu schlafen durften wir mit unseren Zelt auf meinen Favoriten Platz für eine Nacht bleiben. Ich war so dankbar dass die Besitzer mir so lieb entgegen kommen und hatte eine tolle Zeit auf diesen Campingplatz. Toiletten & duschen waren sauber und gepflegt. Der Platz ist wirklich wunderschön und hat sehr liebevolle Besitzer.

Came here for the first time this past weekend and absolutely loved it! The staff was super friendly, especially Miss Mary! We rented the Saphire teepee and the pictures did not do it justice at all! It rained all day yesterday but still had so much fun fishing.. we caught a few bass

It was a very nice campground. Seemed to be well maintained. The staff/managers were friendly. Our site was under some big trees. The sites are well spaced out. It was very quiet except for the sound of tree frogs - great to sleep with the windows open. If we are in the area, we’d stay there again.

A very nice RV campsite off the beaten path. Very relaxing and calming atmosphere. The large pond added to the aesthetics. Staff was friendly and helpful. Showers were very nice. Clean and ample room with hot water.

Very nice campground tucked away off I20. Spaces are gravel and fairly level with fire pit and picnic table. The last 1/4 mile is gravel and was pretty muddy that weekend. The lake has fishing and boats you can rent. Also a nice swimming pool.

Beautiful and quiet. I’d return again.

This truly is a family run/owned campground where you can enjoy the weather, kick back and just relax. It's close enough to Vicksburg for all your sightseeing adventures and far enough to give you the hideaway effect away from ALL noise.
The grounds are clean, well taken care of and it shows the family cares about their facility. A lot of sites are on the grass with full hookups - and level. Easy to get into for setup. The price is easily affordable and offer activities to keep you busy - if that's your thing.

Wow, what a nice place that is manicured. Gentleman on the porch greeted me and after a quick and courteous check-in, they led me to my site. In less than 5 minutes you can tell the vibe of the place and that is comfortable..Highly recommend, place is very well kept....

Beautiful setting! Ponds and lakes and trees and geese! Fishing, kayaking, swimming and a smile on every face I saw. A gem!

A campsite to feel good, it has clean, very well laid out pitches with electricity, fresh water and waste water. The shower and toilet facilities are new and very clean. I can highly recommend this site, we will be very happy to come back when we are in the area again. We didn't book anything and received a very warm welcome from our hosts. 5 stars plus. Thank you for letting us stay here. We are traveling with a tent and our motorcycles. By the way, there are many amenities: boat rental, gem washing, fishing, kayaking, gulf war and much more. There should be more places as nice as this one. Thanks again!!!

We had such a nice time staying at Askew. We did a lake view tent site. The view was beautiful. It was very peaceful while being kid friendly. The staff was also very nice and accomidating. We enjoyed fishing the lake, swimming in the pool and gem mining! If your looking for a nice family friendly camp ground I recommend Askew!

My husband and I wanted to visit Vicksburg and drive some of The Natchez Trace. Askew's Landing was in the perfect spot. It is a very well maintained campground, with full hookups that accommodated our 40' RV. We loved the quiet and the lake. We also plan to come back.

All time favorite camp ground as we travel across the US. Lots of green spaces, full hook ups, pull thrus and pet friendly. The office staff are very helpful and friendly. Also, there are accommodations for late check in. Relaxing and quiet with a pool, pond and nature.

If you are looking for a restful and relaxing place to stay, look no further than Askew’s Landing. The campground sits surrounded by mature trees, beautiful nature and a nice sized lake. Parking and setting up was a breeze. The road to the campground has low hanging trees that we dodged to avoid hitting the top of the coach, but could still hear them hit the antennas. The campground road itself is very narrow and there is no 2-way traffic. Could make the entry a bit cumbersome, but the landing is well worth it. We would definitely stay here again and maybe next time for longer than a one night stay over. Sandy, our campground host maintained great communication and offered us a warm welcome. We stayed in the field and it easily accomodated our coach and towed vehicle without unhooking.
