Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Our first site, 72 was so terribly unlevel that we asked to switch to 70. Once in it, we realized that it didn't have sewer hookup like 72 does and the water hookup is on the opposite side from the electrical. We make it work though in order to have a lake side spot.
Everything else was pretty perfect and we would definitely come back. The camp store folk delivered us some firewood on a golf cart, there is a HUGE fenced area for dogs to run around in (we have 3), and there is a ton for everyone to do. Lots of classic playground equipment, several pavilions, and they were having a Halloween event while we were here.
Absolutely perfect place for groups, families, or couples.

While driving up, my mother saw the cabin and sighed wistfully. "I wish that was where we were staying." I didn't realize she didnt know. She was thrilled. The cabin was so much better than the pictures. Wide open space. Plenty of seating. Very clean. We felt right at home. I would love to have a place just like this. The gem sluice was a huge hit with my brother, my nephew and my mom. My nephew loved it so much, he got 2 exra bags. He loved walking around the site and enjoying the fresh air and nature. My family came to relax and we left rested and happy. All the staff were so incredibly lovely and friendly. My brother spotted an issue, and before we had even driven off they were already fixing it, so they really keep up and care for the place. Very nice campground. Charlotte in the office is very friendly and helpful. They lead us to our site and helped us get parked. The only drawback is the one lane, curved drive in with water on each side. Not for a new driver with a big rig. We did OK but it was stressful.

We were stuck on 20 for HOURS and I accidentally rented the wrong type of space. Thank goodness for Charlotte and her amazing kindness. After hours and in complete darkness Charlotte helped us secure a camping site for the night. We woke up to discover a beautiful campground! We will be back for a longer stay! It’s gorgeous and has a lot of fun activities. Thank you Charlotte and Askew!

Very nice rv park. Two lakes and nice roads to walk on. We will be back.

just off I20 Besutiful and quiet camping spot Fishing lake and pool Large sites and 2 dog parks.

We had a great time. Tent camped for the night. Bundled and got to use the paddle boat and some firewood for hotdogs and s'mores. Service was fantastic and helpful. We just happened to pick a bad night with heavy storms. Lucky we had the tarp before things got crazy in the middle of the night. Definitely would like to make another trip since it's so close to home.

Beautiful RV park with great staff. Loved that they escort you by golf cart to your site so no chance of getting lost. Great swimming pool, store, and lake.

We LOVED Askew’s Landing!! The campground was so nice, and so was the staff! It was very serene and inviting! My only regret was we couldn’t stay longer!! I highly recommend this campground if you are looking for a relaxing, quiet, and safe stay! Can’t wait to go back!

Quiet, Clean spot right off I-20. Easy access to and from the highway! We had a great stay at Askew's. Wife and I did some fishing in their ponds and watched the wildlife.

Beautiful location, perfect when traveling on I20. Would love to revisit with more time to stay and enjoy all the amenities. Staff was very helpful!

We love going to Askew's. When our girls aren't keeping us too busy in the sports activities, we like to visit and kayak. We have been a few times, and it has been fun each time!

I love going to Askews. It’s peaceful and I can get some reading or sleep done. The owner is a sweet man and tried to do whaat he can for the campers.

We absolutely loved staying at Askew! The people here were amazing, the place was beautiful, lots of activities, and the park was so peaceful!! I highly recommend this RV Park. We will definitely be back to stay when in the area again!

We had the opportunity to stay at the new Cabin over Labor Day, and Askew's delivered above and beyond! The Cabin was immaculate and comfortable. The setting is always peaceful and relaxing, and just sitting on the porch to watch the sunset is a treat!

This campground really is a hidden gem. But even more of a gem is Mary!! We blew out a tire about 30 minutes out and were going to be late, so I called the camp and Mary was just the sweetest. She told us not to worry about anything that she would wait as long as we needed and that our safety was top priority. When we got there she was all smiles and helped us get into our spot for the night. The campground was clean and quiet and just the serenity we needed after a rough day. We will be back for sure, mostly because of the kindness Mary showed! Thank you so much, Mary! It's people like you that make these trips so special.
