Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Immediately wrapped in a warm welcome, this oasis in the woods makes for a relaxed stay, surrounded by nature, water, wildlife and friendly people. The perfect home base to explore Historical Vicksburg!

Quiet, quaint, secluded, easy, and great service very comfortable homey feeling.

Amazing Cabin! Large soaking tub was great. Loved the comfy seating in the living room. The lake was beautiful. Wonderful lady's working in the store. It was wonderful stay. I hope we get to go back one day.

Excellent campground. Very picturesque. Despite the rain enjoyed the live music and the peace and quiet. The lake is beautiful. The electrical hookups at the primitive site is nice.
The prices are low. The people running the store are super nice.
Recommend stay palce.

Great folks, very helpful. Nice park where there is a lot of space to walk and play with your dog. Kinda out there, not much near by, but great place to get a way from it all !

this was a really great place to stay right off the interstate but far enough away to stay quiet. I checked in with Charlotte. She took me right to my campground which had 30 or 50 amp, hook ups and water and a fire pit. Very convenient place to stay with bathrooms and clean showers. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed at Askew’s Landing for one night pulling a 5th wheel while traveling to FL. It is a great RV park. Unfortunately due to rain we were unable to enjoy or explore all the amenities. Tip - coming from the west, our GPS took us Old Highway 80 from Bovina and it’s a very narrow road & bridges. Don’t! Make sure you take Exit 22 / Edwards off I20. Great people, we will be back!

Woke up to a very pretty view of the lake. We arrived after closing and they still showed us to our spot.

Our favorite place to camp in Jackson area. Great setting, beautiful lake and places to walk. Our Golden loves the dog park.

Stayed in the Cabin, very roomy, very cozy. Close to the lake. Lots of outside sitting area, grill, and a dog run. Definately worth it.

Pleasant 3days.

Definitely one of Mississippi's hidden gems!! Right off I-20 but pretty much in the middle of nowhere!! Very quiet and peaceful, that is, until the acorns and gumballs started falling off and hitting the roof!!! We saw alot of one night stays come and go as well as lots of those that stayed several days. There are some long term campers but those are mostly contractors. It was mostly cool so the pool wasn't open but it was clean and we'll maintained anyway. My husband used the bath house and said it also was very clean. While we were there, they had their annual Christmas craft show which was very nice with lots of vendors and several food trucks. The staff was awesome and very caring about anything we might need. The price was very good. We had full service but do wish they had concrete pads and a grill. Will definitely go back. Oh, the $ general in the little town carried almost...

We booked here for a weekend trip. The personnel were wonderful! Very helpful and courteous. The campground is lovely and very clean. The cabin was perfect! Clean, modern and warm! A great spot to get away!!

Beautiful location and surroundings, including a lake. Quiet and friendly, helpful staff. Christmas lights reflecting off the water was a very welcoming site!

Great spot for us to overnight. Level spot, #24, which was great because we couldn't get our levels to come down. Charlotte and Jason were great and willing to help with whatever we needed. Cute store with essentials. Kid and pet friendly, and lots of room to roam. Close to the Hey, but couldn't hear a sound. Nice fire pits.

Excellent little cabin placed in the corner of the campground close to the lake.
There were no RV’s next to me so it felt like I had the whole side of the campground to myself.
Perfect for me, and I could walk out of the cabin right down to the best part of the lake (beetlespin for the win).
The hosts were very attentive if I needed something but didn’t bother me when I didn’t need anything (there is an art to that and they were great at it). Very nice place with a laid back atmosphere. Be prepared with sandwiches or grilling food as there is no real kitchen, but that was fine for me, I just cooked burgers and steaks.

Very nice campground and very nice staff. Don’t park under the trees during the Fall though. The acorns falling on your rig will keep you up all night and might crack a solar panel.

They say it’s one of Mississippi's best-kept secrets and that’s no lie! This was a fantastic Harvest Host location and the people running it are exceptional. Whether you're looking for some peace and quiet or a fun spot for your family, Askew's Landing should be on your list of places to stay.

Askew’s Landing is one of our FAVORITE travel stops. It is convenient to Interstate 20, secluded, peaceful, well maintained and the staff is helpful and available! ❤️ The have clean, secure showers and even a little laundromat!

What an awesome place! We stopped over for the night as we were passing through and we absolutely loved it. Sandy and Mary were so nice and welcoming and we enjoyed visiting with them. We had a spot right by the lake and it was a beautiful view and we had such a great time sitting outside in the chairs by a campfire. They have nice bath houses if you need them and they have a little store on property that has a variety of supplies and gifts. We were excited to see they had a smores kit and we got one and roasted that by the fire. They also have a pool, kayaks, paddle boats, and other outdoor activities available. If we're traveling through this area again we will definitely stop in and stay again!

Very relaxing here! Spent 3 days & had a great time kayaking & bike riding & enjoying the scenery. Will be back!
