Askew’s Landing RV Campground

Lovely and peaceful RV stop. Wonderful communication and hospitality. The place is really cute too.

Loved it! Nice quiet getaway! Everyone was very nice and kept clean!

A little ways off the highway, but worth the time. Level sites with full hookup. Bathhouse is clean, with fan and heater. Nice area to walk around.

We broke down less than a mile away we came in around 1 or 2 am without notice.
Jason & Julie are two amazing people, they were very nice and they both went above and beyond.

Such a beautiful property just minutes of i20. We arrived around 6.30 after the office closed but no problem. If you are arriving much later its probably best advised to give them a shout. We called their phone #r which was promptly answered and then led to our camping spot. Hosts are as friendly as you'll find. Highly recommend!! A+++

Sandy was very helpful and the campground is a beautiful setting with wonderful amenities. We’ll be back!

Traveling through on I-20 from Vicksburg, MS to New Orleans. We needed a place for an overnight stay and Askew's was PERFECT!! Easy access, wonderful staff, and an idyllic setting! After a day of hard driving, this was the perfect spot to stop, chill and refresh. I could see spending a few nights at Askew's Landing!

A bit of a drive to get to, but well worth it. Nice management and well run camp. This is our second visit and will surely return. Les and Donna

Good location and quiet place to stay. We stayed overnight while traveling. Staff was great, worked really hard to make sure you are taken care of. Plenty of things for kids to stay busy.

Beautiful cabin with all the comforts of home! They really make you feel like family and go above and beyond to make sure you have a positive experience. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

This is 2nd time we have stayed at this pretty RV park. Just stopped for one night on our way back to Dallas. Great location close to I20, but you don’t hear the highway at all. The park is very quiet. Charlotte gave us a sweet greeting after a long day of driving. So helpful and responsive. They had bingo going on and there were a few families participating. It made us feel safe and comfortable for the night. Clean bathrooms and showers. This is a must stay if you are in the area.

Very close to I-20, had been traveling all day and came into campground right at dusk. Check-in was warm and inviting. Staff led us to our pull through site and ensured we were parked perfectly to access the full hook-ups. The night was very quiet in this peaceful campground. I would come back here in future trips. It looks like a place you could enjoy for a several day stay as well.

We had an amazing stay at this scenic campground in Mississippi! The property is absolutely beautiful, with peaceful lake views and well-maintained grounds that made it the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.

Our cabin was incredibly spacious and well equipped with plenty of amenities—everything we needed for a comfortable stay was already there. We loved having multiple areas to gather and hang out as a family, which made the experience even more special. The fenced-in yard was a huge bonus for our dog and gave us peace of mind while letting her enjoy the outdoors.

The amenities truly set this place apart. We enjoyed the paddle boats and fishing activities on the lake, and thanks to the gorgeous December weather, we were even able to use the pool—an unexpected and wonderful treat!

Great RV park. Next to everything. Very quite love the dog park and the open fields. Very clean. Our go to for dallas. The people that own/work there are friendly and very helpful. We love the dog park and trails and open field. No restroom or shower room.

Dropped in for a night! The coolest place! My son loved it! Definitely adding it to the list to visit when we go back east!

Stopped there passing thru to Texas. Friendly staff and plenty of open spots to stay. Beautiful grounds considering it was cold winter weather. Would stay again.

Tucked away treasure for RV Camping. Only 2.5 miles from the exit down a beautiful winding road. Watched the sunset over the lake after a long day on the road, wished we had time to take advantage of the kayaks. Will definitely be stopping here again. Bonus there is a Loves one stop passed on I 20. Quite, safe, family and dog friendly. Staff is remarkably kind and helpful.

We needed an overnight spot between travels. Found Askew Landing through Harvest Host. So glad we did. Right off the highway, very kind staff, and perfect spot.

It was a beautiful little campground off the beaten path enough to be very quiet. Bathhouses were simple to access and very clean, and the staff greeted me more like I was family than a customer. Prices were also quite reasonable. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Beautiful oasis in the heart of Mississippi. The property is a picturesque paradise. Would love to stay longer, but we are just passing through this time.
Highly recommend for your harvest hosts needs or general camping.

This was the most amazing camping site me and the family has been to all year long. We love Sandy and Brian they made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back.

Our family of 5 camped the weekend before Christmas and had a wonderful time. The staff is responsive, helpful and very welcoming. The grounds were clean and quiet. Our kids loved wandering around the lake, shooting hoops, and visiting all the dogs at the dog park. The presence of dogs was not a nuisance at all, owners were very respectful and dogs kept well.

We loved the paddle boats and took them out two days in a row. Saw so many wonderful birds, fish and turtles. This is a fantastic place to stop overnight or stay a few in a row as it's right off I-20 outside of Jackson.

The campstore was being updated and was closed but the staff were available via phone or text and brought firewood right to our site for us. All the facilities were exceptionally clean!

Some sites along the lake, the hill and in the pines have more privacy.the Magnolia sites...

Definitely worth coming back.

What an adorable gem this place is, full of history, quiet, everything thing you could need! Their spots are level, a lake, trees, out in the country side, very charming and reasonably priced!

Booked a rv spot the day of with Sandy who was very courteous and helpful. The park is conveniently off the interstate but also secluded. We have a large 5th wheel and didn't have any problems getting in or out and sites were pretty level for not being paved. My kids loved playing at the play ground and harassing geese at the pond. We will definitely be making this our stopping spot if we come through again

This RV park is a very nice, quiet retreat off of the hustle and bustle of I-20 in MS. After calling in a reservation, our paperwork was waiting for us outside of the office when we arrived after dark. Finding our campsite and hooking up in the dark was easy. We recommend it!

Stayed as a Travel Nurse here for my contract. Left with friends for life. The management and community felt like home away from home. I can’t recommend this campground enough. Beautiful land, tons of activities for kids. Distance to nearby Vicksburg was perfect. Nice little slice of heaven tucked away!

Quick overnighter. Host met us as we drove up and took us to our site, they were very nice. Location is close off of I-20 and easy to get through. Great park with a nice pond. We will visit again.
