Great steps, great product. I will have to say the instructions need to be clearer that you MUST follow the harness route. The harness is side specific and is only specified once in the instructions. (In the wiring diagram.)

You may skip the instructions or read over it very easily. But do note that you CANNOT route through the firewall. You must go down the wheel well from the battery on the passenger side, then across the crossmember. I learned the hardway because I wanted to route it cleaner than what was instructed to do, the steps did not work because I had the driver and passenger plugs to the modules mismatched. WHICH IS MY FAULT for not thoroughly reading the instructions or using common sense since there is a module in each step, rather than one module like there use to be, or like there is in the controller in AMP Research steps.

So if your steps aren't working after install, and you routed the harness incorrectly according to the install directions, this very well may be your problem to. The harness itself is NOT labeled *passenger* or *driver*.. BUT the driver side of the harness DOES have the rocker switch section of the harness (on/off switch harness with two female spade connecters *red and black*)

In summary *YOU MUST ROUTE FUSE TO BATTERY THEN DOWN THE PASSENGER WHEEL WELL, ALONG THE FRAME AND PLUG INTO PASSENGER STEPS, THEN CROSS OVER CROSSMEMBER TO DRIVER SIDE AND PLUG INTO DRIVER STEPS. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.*

The only reason I give it a 4 star is because on their website, they have a troubleshooting section of people saying it doesn't work, but the answers never say, "are you sure your routed the harness correctly and not routed it your own way ?"

So once I see that troubleshoot on their site, and possibly an addition/update to clarify the mandatory routing on the instructions, I will very gladly change my review to a 5+ star. It is a great product, and this was a user (me) error. But I leave this post so that nobody has to have this error again, hopefully with the companies help. Thankyou in advance !
