I had called 2 other companies that didn’t answer their phone. Anthony answered on the second ring and was very attentive to my loss. I could tell he was with his family (my call was at 7:00pm) but he gave me the attention I needed. He sent a crew that night and they worked throughout the night. Then came back the next day to finish. His crews were very respectful and answered all of my questions. They assisted with the insurance adjuster and helped guide me through a mess of a situation. Restoration 1 came out to our home after severe water damage in our basement. They were so quick to come and assess and immediately start work. Anthony, the owner, was absolutely wonderful to work with - making it easy to get in contact with him, and answer questions we had. Will came out and did all the work and did a phenomenal job, leaving no stone unturned and even showing us things we didn’t know were there. Outstanding service, professionalism & responsiveness!! After having discovered that my Full Finished Basement had apparently been exposed to water wicking underneath the carpeting over time, that the previous owner installed (who puts carpet & padding in a below-grade space?) due to the french-drain not being able to handle the multiple torrential rains of the past summer - I called my insurance company about the drain-back-up/overflow rider in my policy. My worst nightmare was only about to begin when they sent an inspector out & found that not only just the flooring/carpeting was effected, but that black mold was detected in the walls structure & air sample taken - and they recommended I contact a "Serv-pro type" firm to come out ASAP. This business decided it was ok for them to put a sign in my front yard advertising there business .....and I have never used them !!!! they seem very desperate for business ....keep that in mind if you are thinking about using them. Read more >

Our basement was "a swamp" due to a hose not being shut off.

I had a water emergency in the house one afternoon where a broken pipe poured water through my walls, getting lots of water into 3 rooms. I called Restoration1 at about 5pm. Anthony answered and was very helpful - he said he could have a crew at my house within 2 hours. Will and Blayne showed up and stayed until almost midnight to be sure everything was good for the evening. They returned and worked here the next day getting machines up and running. They were very professional and full-service (they took apart a bed and moved things around so the work could be done). They also gave advice for working with the insurance companies that came in handy. Everyone I talked with was very professional and focused on service. Thank you very much to Will and Blayne.
