Warning very long!

I can’t say ENOUGH GOOD THINGS about Reed’s Real Estate they go ABOVE and BEYOND for their clients! My first time home buying experience was “interesting” to say the least but Kelvin and April Reed stuck it out with me to the end. It’s rare to find people who are passionate about their jobs and truly care for their clients.

My story, I considered buying; however being it would be my first home I had no clue where to start. I looked on various real estate sites and contacted numerous realtors. Less than an hour I was contacted by Kelvin of Reed’s Real Estate, I told him my story and what I was looking for and we scheduled a FREE consolation. I never heard back from the other realtors BTW. At consultation, the home buying process was broken down to step by step easy terms I could understand, I was also given folders and a few booklets. Kelvin and April Reed constantly encouraged me to ask questions and wanted to be sure I thoroughly understood the home buying process. Any jitters and nervousness I had been greatly put at ease.

I was looking for a very specific property; we saw many houses but nothing that I was looking for. To assist in increasing the odds of finding my dream home I was placed on the Reed’s automated email listing. After a few months of searching pretty much came up empty, and I noticed the type of rural properties I was looking for was with another company. I discussed my thoughts with the Reeds and they were very reassuring and understanding in my decision to leave.
As soon as went with the other realty company I noticed right off bat the atmosphere was different. While friendly, the agents never took the time to explain the process to me even though I mentioned it was my first home buying experience. I felt like just another number. I was never added to an automatic list or provided extra tools for property searches. THANKFULLY I remembered the terms and process from the consolation I had at Reeds Real Estate. The other agency and I put contracts on a few homes but lost out. I stayed with them for a bit, until I received automatic email I was still getting from Reeds Real Estate. I found the home was looking for! However I wanted to give credit where credit was due so I informed the other real estate company that I was going back to April and Kelvin Reed. Shortly after visiting the home twice and speaking with the owner we placed a contract on the home.

Unfortunately due to some circumstances beyond the control of both April and Kelvin Reed along with myself we were not able to close on the house we originally put a contract on. Kelvin and April FOUGHT HARD for me to the end………I’ll never forget it, unfortunately things happen for a reason and the house was not meant to be. Then about a week later I received another automated email from the Reeds. I called Kelvin as soon as I received the email and we put a contract on the house a few hours later. Unfortunately for me so did everyone else, there were multiple offers put in on the house. Again the Reeds worked hard for me and before I knew it we had won the bidding wars!!!! Now a few weeks later I closed and currently enjoying my new home!!! Even after moving in and getting settled Kelvin and April Reed greatly insisted I keep in touch and let them know if they could assist me with anything else. I am TRULY FORTUNATE to have had such AWESOME people work with!!!! Throughout this roller coaster ride there were times I wanted to give up. Kelvin pushed me to remain positive that things would work out my favor. He was right. :-)
