We used this company in October 2020 for a house we were buying. They had great reviews and our realtor said they did good work. When we arrived at the house, they were already working. We noticed they weren’t wearing masks, and when we asked about that- they said they do not wear masks while on the job. This was a little disconcerting, as it’s a pandemic. We waited outside while they did their inspection. When they went to review the details with us at the end, we asked if they would wear a mask, our realtor offered them disposable masks, and we stated our child was immunocompromised. They still refused and stood there waiting for us to decide what to do next. While their report was thorough, the customer service part was highly frustrating. We will not be using them in the future, not will we recommend. Our lesson learned? We now ask every single company we call about their mask... Read more >

We had an inspection scheduled on a home we are trying to buy, but the Red or Green inspectors refused to wear masks during the inspection, even though the house was occupied. The homeowners, rightfully, refused to allow them into the house. Red or Green claimed that one of their inspectors almost passed out and fell off a roof while wearing a mask...so a no-mask policy. Why would anyone need to wear a mask while on top of the roof? Even though the Red or Green website encourages people to schedule inspection appointments online, through the website, their no-mask policy is not mentioned anywhere on their website. Also, Red or Green was told over the phone, by my realtor, that the house was occupied and that the owners would be home during the inspection. Still, they failed to mention their no-mask policy. They were very nice and they did a good job for the most part. We had them do the inspection on the house we bought and after 6 months I noticed a hole in my stucco I went back through the report and there’s a picture of it but it’s talking about the roof. There was other stucco problems that the caught. I’m upset because all of the stucco problems were taken care of. I got a quote from someone that’s $700+ Even though there’s a picture on the report showing it was there and they missed it they will not do anything about it. Then they also did the inspection on the house that we lived in that was being sold. My mom and child were in the house at the time while I was at work. My mom and baby were asleep when they left the house. When she woke up she said the stove burners were on.
