I couldn’t be more impressed with Prime USA Scales and their heavy-duty Easy Squeeze Load Bars. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations.

The installation was incredibly simple—truly plug-and-play—and the build quality is outstanding. You can tell right away these load bars are made to last and designed with real-world use in mind. The “easy squeeze” design makes working cattle smoother and safer, which is a huge plus.

I bought the scale kit with 24" load bars to make a scale for weighing calves that would fit my alley. I used 2x12 and a 2x8 cut to length that would fit perfectly between the sliding gates on my loading alley. The load bars have holes predrilled so it was a simple matter of drilling holes in the 2x12s and bolting them down. I wouldn't really recommend the 2x8 because at 10 ft long it sags in the middle (not so the 2x12s) but I fixed it easily by adding some perpendicular 1x6s and screwing them down. I was going to add those anyway just so the calves wouldn't slip so much when the wood gets slick. The scale is super easy to hook up and appears to be accurate so far. I have to admit I spent the extra money with this company because it is MADE IN THE USA. Thanks!

We love this scale! Delivery was prompt and the product has been what it was described as. We have had the scale for 2 years and have not had any issues! Scale has sat outside and has held up well! What I like best is the level of customer service unmatched to any other company. Whether you contact them via email or on the phone I received a prompt response and resolution. Our cattle have chewed a cord and a replacement was sent immediately. They provided imagine and instructions that my 14 year old daughter was able to follow!
