I come from a long background in aerobatics wth a 25+ year layoff flying Pitts Specials. Wanting a safe place to fly and see if I still have the itch and get back into Aerobatics, I contacted Prevailance after reading their Web Site.
Immediately after calling I was impressed with the positive attitude and professionalism. Sharing what my wants were and being reassured they could help in many ways I didn’t hesitate signing up for a flight. The staff was genuinely helpful and assigned a pilot to me who called a few days later. Mike Burke, one of the instructors had real professionalism with great ability to listen to what I was looking for. Met Mike a day before the flight to get familiar with the Extra. Never in a hurry, Mike explained in depth the sensitivity and maneuverability of the aircraft answering any questions I had. The day of the flight was a warm welcome from Mary in the office. She is intoxicating with care, concern, needs and wants. She wears aviation enthusiasm all over her.
Mike’s preflight briefing was very thorough, concise, and to the point based on my past experience. Strap the aircraft on and we took off with Mike on the controls. Once free of the pattern control was shifted to me. Non stop aerobatics until tired and rested a few minutes. What a “BLAST”! Mike once again took over making a sweet landing. Yes I was beat but received exactly what I was looking for!
