Powerlift Dumbwaiters, Inc is a fantastic company to deal with. We recently built a new home (owner/builder) and have never had a dumbwaiter before. After doing much research we chose them due to price, location and helpfulness. From start to finish they answered our multiple questions and concerns and guided us thru the process. They have very clear videos and instructions and always respond immediately to any and all inquiries. My sons installed the tracks, and I did all the wiring myself myself with confidence and a few phone calls with Brian. I consider myself a pretty handy woman and did it without help from an electrician.

We love our Powerlift dumbwaiter! We've had it for over 5 years now. We use it almost every day to move things between the basement, main floor, and 2nd floor. I was skeptical when were deciding on putting it into our new home, but once we started using it I never looked backed! It has been a wonderful tool. And in hindsight, the cost of the dumbwaiter is a fraction of what medical bills would be from falling down the stairs with an armload of boxes. We did have one issue recently, which I thought was a major failure. But a short call to the Powerlift tech support, sending a couple pictures by email, and the "major issue" turned out to be just a quick and simple reset required, probably caused by a momentary and ill timed power disruption. We are VERY pleased with our choice to install a Powerlift dumbwaiter and the excellent support from their tech service. Thank you...

I bought the Powerlift Dumbwaiter to replace an old, DIY unit my dad had MacGyvered when he built the house back in the 80s. Working with Powerlift was great. The engineering was spot-on and everything fit. I was able to install the Powerlift Dumbwaiter into the existing shaft with the existing doors by myself with the assistance of the old unit's winch and lift cable. However, for a DIY install without the use of a winch, I would highly recommend an extra pair of hands.

Larry at Powerlift Dumbwaiter is fantastic! Rather than overcharge me for a part, he took the time to help me troubleshoot whether I really needed the part (which it turns out I didn't). It's hard to find honest vendors these days, so his care for my problem really stood out!

I like Powerlift Dumpwaiters because it has been dependable without repairs for about 10 years. When it started to not stop where it should I talked to Larry Reite and he told me what I needed to do. That was a great help since I live in PA and Powerlift Dumbwaiters, Inc. Is located in CA. It has saved me hundreds of climbs up and down the steps. I take my groceries out of the car downstairs, push a button and they are near my kitchen. I have lived in this house for 45 years. It is a two story house and I would have to move if I had to move everything including laundry up & down the stairs. Thanks again Larry for helping me troubleshoot my dumbwaiter.

Our tech, Larry Reit, did a fantastic job. He answered numerous emails, patiently guiding us through a troubleshoot of our unit. When our electrician arrived to assist us, Larry called and explained carefully and clearly how to check the voltages, safety switches and door switches. With his help, our unit is running better than ever. We are truly grateful for his expertise, patience and courtesy. Larry made all the difference in our tech support experience. I installed my dumbwaiter in 2007. It was a new build situation. I found the unit easy to install. Don’t be intimidated as the staff at Powerlift Dumbwaiters, Inc. are very helpful answering questions and offering suggestions during the build out (Especially Larry!). They have been helpful with a few maintenance questions over the years. When you call a person, not a computer, says hello. Our unit is still working very well, just as on the 1st day. It is very well built and I imagine it will work fine for the life of the house. We use it almost daily. When I give a review sometimes, I ponder how many stars to give. This was an easy one. No question they deserve 5 stars!

2/17/2020 I have a 2 floor unit of the old style built in 2003. After storing it since then, I installed it 2/10/2020. It still looked pristine inside. It started to run after a few tries. I imagined it had seized up just a little. I called Brian with a few questions I had. He was superb in his customer support. In my area I know of no one else with a dumbwaiter. I would give it FIVE STARS so far.
