Dr. Shu helped me out during a very difficult time when I was quite sick physically and emotionally and wasn’t sleeping much. She helped me to truly be able to relax my body and the treatment I felt immediately as very relaxing and healing. She gave me a breathing and meditation technique to do during treatment, and the needles were inserted with each one having a definite purpose. I never felt much with other acupuncturists and I’ve been to a lot of them. This was definitely different. She sincerely cared and wanted to help and made herself readily available. I was quite impressed and I am happy to know that I can go back should anything else arise.

My face has suffered from an annoying skin problem for a long time, with the face being very red, swollen and itchy. I was referred to Dr. Shu by a friend one month ago. After the first treatment, my face felt better, less swollen and itchy. After 4 treatments using both herbal medicine and acupuncture, my face has been doing so much better with no swollen/itchiness/redness. In the meanwhile, my ear pain which had bothered me for quite a long time has reduced a lot, and my lower back pain, bowel movement and urination all improved. When I was referred by a friend to see Dr. Shu a month ago, I was desperately needing help for my sleeping problem that had bothered me for weeks. Dr. Shu is such fine Chinese medicine professional who asked very detailed questions, explained her treatment plan clearly and started treatment right away: acupuncture plus Chinese medicine. My wife and I went to New Hope Acupuncture for fertility support. We tried for 2 years but couldn't get pregnant. Then we also tried IUI and IVF. According to advice from her OB/Gyn practitioner, my wife went to get acupuncture support for the coming IVF. In Jan 2023 my Fitbit reported that I had an episode of AFIB. I've seen my GP & cardiologist who have some recommendations, most of which include starting low dose meds. I met Junting at a networking meeting and being a alternative healing practitioner myself, I decided to try acupuncture.

I started going to New Hope in July and since then I've had no reported AFIB episodes from my Fitbit & have no noticeable heart palpitations. I sleep better, feel an inner calmness and have more energy.

Junting brings her wisdom of Chinese medicine which goes far beyond what is trained in acupuncture school and has the skill to follow the energy making every session unique to what is presenting in that moment.

Junting(Rachel) is an exceptional healer, after one visit it is clear that she has amazing passion and knowledge for Chinese medicine and treatments.
