I was seen for TMJ and anxiety. The results were amazing! It helped my TMJ tremendously. I also suffer from anxiety and was diagnosed at an early age. I have tried a variety of anxiety medications and treatments. New Hope life easier and more managable. I now have minimal anxiety. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Highly recommended!

I suffer from several chronic issues. Sleep disturbance, bladder issues, GI issues and numbness and pain in my foot. In just 5 visits, I no longer am having incontinence issues. I'm sleeping through the night. The pain and numbness in my foot has lessoned a bit too.

I highly recommend New Hope Acupuncture and Wellness to anyone seeking acupuncture treatment! I had booked an appointment due to neck stiffness, and abdominal pain. I had gone to see a primary care doctor about the stomach pains I was experiencing, and after a panel of tests, they were not able to diagnose the pain or recommend any effective treatment. After one session of meeting with Ms. Shu which consisted of answering some general questions and my first treatment, I felt relief and knew I was in good hands. During subsequent treatments, I have continued to feel relief and the symptoms I was experiencing began to subside. My experience has been excellent from booking to treatment!

I had been suffering with terrible muscle spasms for months. My tried different treatments from my medical doctor, with little relief. Glad I found New Hope. After my 1st visit I started to feel better. Not only did my spasms reduce but my sleep improved and my acid reflux has decreased. Dr. Shu is extremely knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. I have a history of sinus issues, and following a bad cold last april, I was dealing with a month long flare up that left me cold, congested, and in lots of pain, anxiety, and fatigue. Within an hour of the first visit, my congestion lightened up significantly. A month later, and my symptoms that were lingering from the cold slowly disappeared. Rachel's technique not only brought about the healing process, but also made it more bearable as each visit would cause immediete relief followed by progressively improved healing.

I've visited other acupuncturists before, and their technique's were painful and uncomfortable, in addition to bearing negligible results. At New Hope, not only do the needles feel comforting, but the results are significant enough where you know for a fact it isn't a placebo.

I had had two episodes of vertigo in addition to my chronic migraines when I reached out to New Hope acupuncture. I had no knowledge about acupuncture or its benefits. Googled the closest acupuncture clinic and ended up here. The doctor was kind enough to accommodate me on the same day and stayed late for my treatment. To my surprise, after just one session, I felt much relief from the constant light-headedness I was experiencing due to the vertigo. After 2 sessions, I have seen a huge improvement with my migraines (I used to get headaches at least once a week, carrying medication around with me). Having seen great benefits, I am continuing with more sessions to alleviate other concerns and to improve my general health. About the doctor; she takes time to listen and then treat. It’s a small little office with neat rooms and a very relaxing ambience.

I went in for lower and upper back pain. I tried massages and cupping elsehwere which didnt help much. After just one session at New Hope I felt like the pain was 90% gone! It felt amazing and Im Looking forward to seeing results from other areas!

Was given New Hope as a recommendation to help with some issues and I've been very surprised. I have sleep apnea and allergies/sinus issues so my sleep and energy have been low for years. After one session here I feel so much better and have been consistently sleeping really well and i definitel have more energy. I also had a few little pains that I told Rachel about and those are feeling better too after 3 sessions.
Rachel is really good. She takes the time to see what she can help you with and does a great job of making you feel better. The sessions are relaxing and beneficial- at least they have been for me. The rest of Rachel's staff is friendly and nice and the scents and music they have in the rooms are soothing and relaxing as well.
Once my initial sessions are done I plan to continue going to New Hope as I think having these sessions will continue to benefit me...

First time doing acupuncture and had a great experience. I was recommended to do acupuncture pre and post IVF in addition to my other fertility appointments. I was so lucky to find New Hope locally in Acton. She was really knowledgeable and considerate of my early pregnancy symptoms and was helpful in getting relief and helping me safety through the first 16w. I would recommend for any fertility journey, not just IVF.

The acupuncture treatment was very effective! I had persistent headaches that didn’t want to go away, but after around two rounds of acupuncture they stopped entirely and haven’t come back. All staff are very nice and extremely thorough. Treatment is also very adaptable; before each session there is a back and forth check-up about your current health and so the treatment every time is adjusted to meet the most recent changes in your health situation, making treatment especially effective. For instance, I had initially gone to cure my headaches but the doctor also helped get rid of a very bad cold I suffered from during one specific week during treatment. All in all, great experience, would recommend.

Dr. Shu is very knowledgeable. I had a lower back pain with no acupuncture experience before seeing her. She talked with me for half an hour to understand my health situation before starting the procedure. She told me my kidney and stomach do not rest well at night, by looking at my face and tongue (which is true because I stayed late at night, had a kidney stone and a stomach issue before). She used her palm to press my chest and abdomen and finger to pinch my hand & foot, and based on my feelings, she told me which organs I need to pay attention to. Her explanation makes perfect sense, and the treatment made me feel very relaxed (I felt some warm water flowing under my back although there was no water at all). When I shared my amazing experience with my coworkers at lunch, two of them told me they visited Dr. Shu before and had the same positive experience. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Shu is excellent, and I highly recommend New Hope Acupuncture and Wellness. What I appreciate most is how caring and thorough Dr. Shu is. She asks about previous symptoms and how I am feeling at the start of each appointment. Though the practice is busy, my appointments never feel rushed. Dr. Shu takes her time and I leave the office feeling great. The staff there is wonderful, too.

My original health concern was plantar fasciitis, which I had for almost a year. Dr. Shu treated it and I'm now 100% pain-free. I had tried PT and going to the podiatrist, but neither made it better.

Dr. Shu is one of the best doctors I ever met. She is caring, empathetic and most importantly you get to establish a connection with her and trust her! I suffered severe finger stiffness for about half year, visited couple specialists and did a lot of tests, nothing found. But after 2 months of careful treatment by Dr. Shu, my fingers are all recovered! Thank you, Dr. Shu!

I am so happy that I found my favorite acupuncture in action. She is very professional and take her time and listen to you. Today was my day 3 of my acupuncture and I already feel so much better. Because of the pain of frozen shoulder, I found Dr. Shu here. Dr. Shu understood all my physical conditions and gave me needles， After needles I tried cupping. The whole process took almost 2 hours and I felt very comfortable. The pain in my shoulder joints eased a lot. Many thanks.

I came in without having tried acupuncture before. I had an ER visit where I was dealing with extreme back and abdomen pain and there was no diagnosis or treatment given to me by my doctors so I decided to try acupuncture. This was the best decision I made. I felt so validated when I told them my symptoms and pains. I was not able to sleep on my back due to the pain and couldnt sleep through the night. After the first time going, I had the most restful sleep since the first onset of my symptoms. She talks you through the process and every step that she does during a session so you feel relaxed and comfortable. I highly recommend coming and trying acupuncture. I have felt great and even my doctors have told me to continue!

Dr. Junting Shu is amazing. I was referred by a friend to see Junting. I had struggled for a back pain near the shoulder area for a long time. I am impressed by Junting’s acupuncture skill as my pain was relieved immediately after the treatment. During the acupuncture session, she carefully adjusted the treatment based on my feedback. Wow! Where do I start?! I was suffering with severe migrianes 3-4x a week. I would wake up with a dull headache almost every morning and it would turn into an excruciating migraine by 4 pm. After just a couple sessions I was down to one a week and now most recently made it just shy of 3 weeks without one! My only regret is not finding New Hope sooner.
