New Hope Acupuncture and Wellness

This is a long past due review. I was introduced to this place last year (2024) by a friend because I suffer from sever migraines and Tylenol wasn’t even taking the edge off during my pregnancy. I was crying almost on daily basis and had no idea how will i get through 9 months of debilitating headaches. so i gave acupuncture a try with Dr Shu, and i all i can say is she truly changed my life! my migraines got a lot better she even helped with my sleep and nausea. Also, beyond the acupuncture, Junting was very honest and genuine. when there were things she couldn’t help with, she’d say it upfront she didn’t let me try just for the sake of money which i highly respect. I’ve been recommending Junting for my friends, family, and coworkers and whoever went gave a positive feedback.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Shu for leg, shoulder and ankle pain! From the first session, I was impressed with their professionalism, calm demeanor, and ability to explain the process clearly.

The clinic is always clean and peaceful, making each visit feel like a mini retreat. After just a few sessions, I began to notice a real difference—my pain decreased significantly, and I felt more relaxed and energized.

What really sets Dr. Shu apart is that she listen carefully to what I said each session to how I’m feeling!

Dr. Shu is incredible! I have been seeing her for over 6 months now. I had an allergy problem that no one else had been able to fix for years and with her knowledge and expertise she did! Dr. Shu and TCM have changed my life for the better. I was a skeptic, frustrated by how conventional medicine seemed unwilling to look into women's issues or take them seriously. I was one of those people who was effortlessly healthy for most of my life so I took it for granted. Following COVID, however, all of that changed. I went to New Hope after being diagnosed with Colon Cancer (stage 2 or 3). Surgery was immediately scheduled to remove the large tumor which could be felt just under my rib cage and was painful.
I had digestive issues for years and my goal was to prepare my body for surgery. I got so much more.
During my initial consultation and initial treatment pain points in addition to the area of the tumor were discovered. I was able to have seven treatments before my surgery and my pain points either significantly decreasd or went away all together. My stomach bloating also went away and most significantly the tumor could no longer be felt through my skin - as if it had decreased in size.
My post-op recovery has been great. I left the hospital being able to walk steadily with minor abdominal pain and needing only Tylenol for pain management.
Tomorrow will be seven days...

Had a Shingrex shot in my shoulder that caused severe pain, loss of range of motion and muscle weakness. After suffering with this for several months the NP told me I might try acupuncture. I was skeptical, since I had tried acupuncture previously with minimal results. After reading lots of positive reviews from New Hope, I decided to make an appointment. Fengrui has not only fixed my arm muscle pain, weakness and rom, but she has treated some depression I'd been having (i had just gone thru a bad divorce, move, then unresolved arm pain!). While my arm is still not 100%, my depression is gone, I'm sleeping better and I have tons of energy. Highly recommend New Hope!

This acupuncture clinic is helping my family members. Dr. Shu is very attentive and thorough. My ear inflammation, tight muscles, and dizziness jmproved alot after just one treatment.

From the moment I first visited… I knew I was in wonderful hands. Dr Shu is professional and a wonderful acupuncturist. I am 54 and struggle with a bit of urinary incontinence. I also deal with anxiety and some breakouts on my chin that have been difficult to heal on their own. Dr Shu has helped me tremendously. I am very grateful that I found her.

I’ve been having shoulder/back pain for months, not only does the treatment help with pain relief, I feel more relaxed, higher energy throughout the week, and feel more balanced after each visit.

I can't say enough great things about my expeirence. I saw all the positive reviews and was unsure what to make of it, but this has been life changing for me. I came here after no medication could treat my pregnancy vomiting and nausea and after a few treatments I made significant improvement. It is now gone completely. I then continued to come and they were able to treat a headache and nasal congestion. It works so well it is almost unbelievable and a lot of it ended up being covered by my insurance! I feel so lucky to have found them.

I have been receiving acupuncture treatment for shoulder pain. The pain was so severe that I was unable to raise my arm when dressing. After several treatments which included cupping, I can move my arm and exercise. My arm is getting stronger, and the pain is minimal. Junting Shu is kind and attentive and very thorough. She will ask questions and take notes before each session.
I also struggle with seasonal allergies, namely nasal congestion and itchy eyes. The last few years my eyes were so itchy that I saw dermatologist and did the usual tests. No matter what eye drops I used, nothing worked. Since I began seeing Junting Shu for shoulder pain, I noticed my eyes are not itchy, and I haven't used eye drops since I started acupuncture.
The office is clean, and everyone is kind and professional. I highly recommend New Hope Acupuncture.

I am grateful for finding New Hope Accupuncture. I started going for joint pain and women issues with pain in the abdomen . The hip pain I had I found immediate relief for. I am progressively feeling relief in my joints and the pressure in my stomach has subsided. I recommend Accupuncture before getting surgery or taking pills for pain. After 10 years of suffering from Lyme Disease inflammation and pain, think rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, acupuncture has made me so very much better! After just 4 weeks of treatments I stopped needing to take two very expensive shots every 3 weeks for autoimmune inflammation. After so much time both the disease caused inflammation and treatments had wreaked havoc with much of my organ function, which is now being healed. I cannot recommend new hope highly enough! I came to them struggling with severe migraines that had been affecting my daily life, I missed work, I had a really hard time with basic tasks. I have been experiencing lower back pain and cramps which radiate into my legs and thighs for a couple years. A friend recommended New Hope Acupuncture. At first l had my doubts if any therapy could be of any help. Finally gave New Hope Acupuncture a try. Wallah! Dr. Shu did wonders after two seasons my pain and cramps are reduced by 90%.
