The receptionist Jai is very responsive and able to assist from setting up the appointment for initial consultation and work out with the insurance provider for treatment approval. Always very welcoming whenever I came in to my visit and help prepare for my treatment.
I started my acupuncture treatments many years ago through several practices after traditional physical therapy and chiropractor’s treatment didn’t help resolve my longstanding chronic pain in lower back and ankle injuries.
Fortunately I was able to find a local practitioner whereas it is very conveniently locating closer to work and home and able to find a schedule to fit my needs.

Ms. Shu is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and detailed in her treatments. She truly cares about helping her patients feel better, and her expertise made us feel very comfortable with the treatment plan she created for us. My husband and I both noticed results within the first week.

The front desk staff is also wonderful, very friendly and quick to respond to messages.

I originally came in for shoulder pain from a skiing accident. At the same time I was experiencing relentless hot flashes and going through many life transitions. I was having a difficult time getting a grip. Acupuncture and the Chinese herbs Dr Shu prescribed really helped to restore balance in my body and mind. I had a beautiful journey at the first time at the New Hope, when Dr.Shu put the needles in my body, after 5 minutes something started in my hole body for a minute,and it flew away from me!!! All my pain gone and after I slept around 15 minutes and relax really enjoyed the hole treatment!! I’ve had three acupuncture treatments with Dr. Shu so far, and I’m already seeing significant improvement. I originally came in for tennis elbow and persistent post-nasal drip, and both issues have noticeably improved after just a few sessions.

My elbow pain has decreased substantially — I can move and use my arm much more comfortably now. The post-nasal drip, which had been bothering me for quite some time, has also eased a lot.

It has been a great progress working with Dr. Shu at New Hope Accupunture. Dr. Shu has been treating my nerve pains and paralyzed leg due to cancer roughly about 2 months now. Her knowledge of traditional Chinese accupunture is amazing. My pain and sleep has greatly improved so I highly recommended to anyone with back and leg pain to go see her.

I started my acupuncture journey a little over a year ago and originally went to help with anxiety. I noticed an immediate improvement in my symptoms. I had tried acupuncture in the past at another place and never saw much improvement. The Dr. at New Hope is very thorough and individualized my treatment. More recently, I asked for help with menopause symptoms, and after one visit, my hot flashes nearly disappeared, and after two treatments completely gone. I had a severe injury to my shoulder and back muscles, resulting in massive pain and I could not move my shoulder. Although a hospital doctor prescribed strong painkillers, it was the acupuncture treatment that really fixed the issue. New Hope Acupuncture fit me in for an urgent appointment, and after the treatment, my muscles finally loosened up. I saw consistent improvement with every session. I decided to give acupuncture a try for arthritis in my shoulder area. I'd done PT, and used a heating pad daily with little results. I'd gotten a recommendation to go to New Hope and give it a try. I'm so glad I did. Fangrui Shu is so kind and compassionate and her initial evaluation is the most thorough I've every had. My shoulder discomfort is now very minimal, if at all. And if that wasn't enough, as we age, the multiple nightly trips to the bathroom has decreased, down to once or not at all! I came to New Hope Acupuncture mainly for lower back pain and chronic constipation. After just a few sessions, I noticed significant improvements in both. My lower back pain has eased a lot, and my digestion has become much more regular, which has really improved my overall quality of life.

I’ve been receiving acupuncture treatments at this clinic for more than six months, and I really want to share my positive experience. Initially, I came in with a lot of neck and shoulder tension from spending long hours at a computer, and they did a fantastic job alleviating that discomfort. Experienced lower back pain for over half a year had tried orthopedic massages for many times and didn't help, and pain was progressing. The first treatment already had improvements.
