My Wife and I had an dog fence put in recently and both Ashley and Tom were great! Ashley made the scheduling process very simple, and Tom did an excellent job installing the fence. You could barely tell that a wire had been buried as there was little to no damage to the lawn. Any evidence of the install was gone within a week and the area where the driveway had to be cut for the wire was barely noticeable after Tom filled it in for us. Tom also provided a great introductory training session for our two dogs that resulted in an immediate change in our dogs’ behavior and then provided good instruction for us on how to continue the training. Ashley’s follow up dog training and routine check-ins have been very helpful as well. We had a great experience with Fence-A-Pet. I have a mini Doxie who likes to escape the yard. My yard is a very difficult layout and I was skeptical. Tom spend two days perfecting my layout and reassuring us this is going to work. They did trainings with us for 2 days and multiple check ins. Very fast at responding to any questions or concerns I had as well. I highly recommend them for your electric fence needs.

Tom & Ashley were outstanding from the initial inquiry to the install and beyond. Fence-A-Pet came highly recommended from several neighbors and friends. Tom made a site visit beforehand and discussed all our options then returned a couple days later when he had an opening to install the fence and started training our dog that same day. Ashley came out within a week to reinforce the training and check on the whole system and they also checked in a couple more times afterwards to make sure we were satisfied and didn’t have any questions or concerns. This is a great value, no up-selling, and they are a small local business and they are extremely hard working. As far as the product, we are extremely happy with it.

Tom and Ashley were awesome from the start of the process until the end! They’re very knowledgeable about the product and understand that every pet and situation is different. From the information provided on initial consult they gave me piece of mind. Scheduling was very simple and they worked around our schedule. The installation was clean and not obtrusive at all. Tom and Ashley from Fence-A-Pet are amazing. From the first call, they were patient and informative with explaining every detail of they electric fence and how the process worked. Their attention to detail and tailoring the system to my particular dog's behavior and response was extraordinary. I have a young rescue dog who is very smart but has also been challenging with understanding/respecting boundaries when he gets excited by distractions in the neighborhood and I have wanted him to have freedom in the yard without the danger of the street. Tom was knowledgable and took his time with us... and a couple weeks in now we've had great success. I couldn't be happier.

We had such a wonderful experience! From the very start, Tom (who owns the business with his wife, Ashley) came out to check out the property and meet myself and our 5 year old Shiba Inu, Indy. Tom was extremely informative and overall just a really nice, friendly person. Before he left, he let us know that Ashley would be reaching out to schedule the installation. Shortly after, we scheduled the install for the next week and Tom came back out (even in a rain storm) to install the fence! He was extremely fast, efficient, professional, and courteous as always. We even did a quick training session with Indy to get him used to the flags and the system, which, surprisingly, he was a quick study. We had a great experience. Both the people we worked with to set-up the fence and train our big Golden Retriever were very knowledgeable and took the time to ensure we were comfortable. They were also very responsive from the beginning. There was a little confusion on the second day as to who was coming but that actually worked out great!

Just had a wire replacement at the house. Great project start to finish. Good communication, project completed just as described, Tom was great and price was high value.

Tom and his team was excellent! They did a great job installing the fence. We have a big, 5+ acre yard and they installed it far faster than I thought it could be done and it looked great. The biggest thing is that they helped to train our dog on the fence. The training was excellent and our dog took to it right away.

I didn't realize it upfront but the #1 reason I'd suggest anyone to work with Fence-A-Pet is because of their people. They are dog people who did a great job making sure we got everything we needed to have a successful and happy puppy.
