Working with Tom and Ashley was so easy and adding the fence was the best thing we could have done for our pup! The training was clear and simple and the extra training from Ashley and her dog was super helpful! They are quick to respond to any questions and are always reaching out to check in. We are so happy with the results & piece of mind knowing Benji will be safe and can enjoy running through the yard with kids off leash!!

Tom and his wife Ashley were amazing to work with, the system installation was seamless and the training sessions for our 100lb german shepherd were tailored to his needs. Our boy can now enjoy his huge yard tether free and respects the boundaries set for him. We can also relax and enjoy our outdoor space as a family knowing that he is safe from the street. I am the owner of a young Beagle who is obsessed with chasing squirrels and who was easily climbing a 5 foot chain link fence to get out of the yard. I was at my wit's end when a friend recommended Fence-A-Pet electric fence to contain her. I was unsure about using this method but I met with Tom who reassured me about the safety and efficacy of this method and so I had the fence installed. I can't believe how quickly my dog learned her new boundaries! Tom started the training and told me everything I needed to know and gave me a helpful training handout. My dog has learned where she can safely go and has not come close to getting to the chain link fence. Ashley came over a week later to assess how my dog was doing and was very pleased with the results. I am so glad that I chose this fence as my dog can now safely enjoy being outside as much as she wants! Thank you Fence-A Pet!!!

Ashley and Tom, owners of Fence-A-Pet, have provided many years of excellent service, from installation to on site training, complete with frequent follow ups to make sure everything is operating correctly. Over the course of about 14-15 years now, they have successfully trained 4 different Golden Retrievers on the same fencing system. Some of our dogs were pups and some were much older when they were trained. Today the weather was rainy, cold and windy and I didn't particularly want to go out on a long leash walk (we did walk around the block!) and it was a godsend to be able to have Nellie Mae amuse herself outside without having to worry about her wandering off. I give Ashley and Tom 5 Stars from their prompt responses to texts or phone calls. They provide highly professional service but in a personal, friendly fashion. Tom is always available to come over to make quick repairs...

Tom and Ashley at Fence-A-Pet were great to work with. They made the process very simple and their communication and availability were excellent. The installation was super quick and easy. My 12 week old puppy was trained very quick and now stays and plays with the kids within the boundaries of our yard. We had an electric fence installed for our French bull dog puppy who loved to escape the yard. Within a few days she was staying within the flagged area and could be outside off leash without running off. Tom and Ashley were wonderful to work with, very responsive and helpful! The installation has given us such peace of mind. Would highly recommend.

My Wife and I had an dog fence put in recently and both Ashley and Tom were great! Ashley made the scheduling process very simple, and Tom did an excellent job installing the fence. You could barely tell that a wire had been buried as there was little to no damage to the lawn. Any evidence of the install was gone within a week and the area where the driveway had to be cut for the wire was barely noticeable after Tom filled it in for us. Tom also provided a great introductory training session for our two dogs that resulted in an immediate change in our dogs’ behavior and then provided good instruction for us on how to continue the training. Ashley’s follow up dog training and routine check-ins have been very helpful as well. Within two weeks of the install, neither one of my dogs even go near the boundaries anymore and they can now run free in our yard, which is excellent sinew we...

We had a great experience with Fence-A-Pet. I have a mini Doxie who likes to escape the yard. My yard is a very difficult layout and I was skeptical. Tom spend two days perfecting my layout and reassuring us this is going to work. They did trainings with us for 2 days and multiple check ins. Very fast at responding to any questions or concerns I had as well. I highly recommend them for your electric fence needs.

Tom & Ashley were outstanding from the initial inquiry to the install and beyond. Fence-A-Pet came highly recommended from several neighbors and friends. Tom made a site visit beforehand and discussed all our options then returned a couple days later when he had an opening to install the fence and started training our dog that same day. Ashley came out within a week to reinforce the training and check on the whole system and they also checked in a couple more times afterwards to make sure we were satisfied and didn’t have any questions or concerns. This is a great value, no up-selling, and they are a small local business and they are extremely hard working. As far as the product, we are extremely happy with it.

Fencer Pat has saved my sanity. I have two pups that have endless energy. I can actually have some relaxing down time with them now because they get all of their energy out by running all around my property.

They trained my dogs with the flags and I love the fact that my dogs get a little alert on their collar with a sound. They're not getting electrocuted !
I highly recommend this company. I can enjoy my beautiful dogs because they have some relaxing time for me. They race all around the house all the way through the yard and I know they're safe because they do not go beyond the boundaries. They were trained very quickly by Tom and Ashley.
