Goddard School -- McKinney (University Drive)

We absolutely LOVE the Goddard School at 380 & Ridge! We’ve had a great experience! From the very first tour before our little girl was born we were impressed with how personable and intentional the staff is, how clean and organized everything is, and how well loved the kiddos are by the teachers! You can tell that the kids are really happy and having fun and the teachers go the extra mile to give every child the attention and care they need. We know the teachers and staff by name and they know us, too!

The Goddard team has taught our daughter (and our family) SO much in such a short time! We can tell she is safe and comfortable, she is learning new things every day, she is surpassing milestones, and she’s learning critical social and emotional skills too! We absolutely LOVE Goddard! We’ve been at the University and Ridge Rd location since June 2025. We have had the best experience- from the staff, teachers, children, to the amazing parents who we now consider to be close friends. From the minute you walk in the door, you see and feel the difference for why Goddard stands above the rest. They care - in every way. The teachers love your children as their own. They pay attention to small details and communicate well with parents. The learning structure is top notch. Not only are they learning the basics, but my 4 year pre-k daughter has also learned how to play chess!! She can also do basic addition. When asked how she knew how to add numbers, she said “we do numbers at my school” 😊 I mean the list is endless… do yourself and your child a favor, and come tour Goddard. Our daughter has been going here for a year now, she started just before turning one. She LOVES going to school and LOVES her teachers, especially Ms. Becky. She always asks to go see Ms. Becky in the mornings and gets a cute hairstyle every day from her. Our daughter is always happy and smiling at school. We are very happy with our choice to put our daughter here. It’s an amazing school with teachers that care.

Truly the best childcare facility. Both of my children LOVE going here. My toddler wakes up in the mornings begging to go. The teachers have become like family and are very dear to us.

Robbin and her team at Goddard have been AMAZING the entire time our daughter has been there. She had thrived with their excellent learning plans and always surprises us with what she’s experiencing on a daily basis, like playing chess, learning Spanish, they even have their own garden they tend too. Communication is excellent and the atmosphere can’t be beat. Second child is already enrolled for the fall! Thank you Goddard!

The best of the best. Top tier! I have one child who graduated from there and started as an infant, who is now thriving daily and almost done with first grade. And I have another currently enrolled who is also thriving. Best school ever. Ownership is truly superior above all else. Teachers are all phenomenal. Longevity all across the school means so much!

We moved our children to the University Drive Campus of Goddard in McKinney in September 2021. Since then the development of both kids has been amazing. From the front desk staff of directors to the owner Robbin and all the teachers, this is the best possible school for young children. It is like family, can't recommend them enough!!!! My son is now in their after school program Kids Club and there for the summers and gets mad when we come pick him up because he is having so much fun!

I wanted to share my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible teachers at Goddard, who have nurtured the learning and development of my three children.

My two oldest daughters recently transitioned into the school district, and their current teachers are consistently amazed by their performance, noting that they are above grade level. This is a testament to the strong educational foundation they received at your school. My youngest child is still happily enrolled, and I am grateful that he will also benefit from having such amazing educators.

Beyond academics, Goddard has played a vital role in their social development. My children have formed lasting friendships, and we continue to meet up with our "Goddard friends" even though they now attend different elementary schools. My daughters still love stopping by to say hello to their favorite Goddard...

We recently left this Goddard for a Goddard location closer to home. My son started around 18 months and I always say my only regret is that we didn’t start sooner. He blossomed SO much here and we are forever thankful for everyone we encountered during our 3 years. Every teacher and all of the office staff always went above and beyond for us. We will miss them so much!

We’ve had all three of our children attend The Goddard School of McKinney (University Drive), and I can say with full confidence there’s no place like it!

Our older two boys attended several other daycares over the years, but Goddard set a new standard we didn’t even know to hope for. Our youngest has been here from infancy through Pre-K, and she’s absolutely thriving.

Both boys have attended summer camp here for years, and one still goes to the after-school program. One of our son’s was diagnosed with autism at age 5, and from the very beginning, the owner Robin and the staff have been nothing but supportive, understanding, and proactive. They’ve worked closely with us to help him feel safe, included, and confident. He’s now 9 and still looks forward to going. That kind of consistency and care is rare, and we don’t take it for granted.

We’ve been at Goddard for a year now and couldn’t be happier! All the teachers have been wonderful (there is not one that I’ve not loved)! The office team is fantastic when you need them for anything. Robbin is AMAZING! I’ve never seen a center owner so involved and in the center often. She is personable and pops out of her office to greet the families at drop off/pick up. I’ve never needed her for anything but it’s obvious if I did, she is available and approachable!

I can’t say enough good things about this school. The staff here is the best of the best!
I have sent 5 children through this program, 4 graduates and one with one year remaining. This school has become a second family to us and it’s hard to believe the end is near. We are abundantly grateful to have had this school be such an amazing part of our children’s upbringing.

Goddard has been a wonderful experience for both of my kids. My oldest absolutely loves summer camp—this is his second year attending! My little one is really enjoying her First Steps class, and it’s been such a joy to watch her grow and transition so smoothly. The teachers go above and beyond, and the front desk ladies are always kind, welcoming, and supportive. They truly put me at ease every time I drop my babies off. We love this place and are so thankful for all their hard work and dedication!

We’ve been part of The Goddard School family for five years now with our three boys, and it’s been such a gift. From toddlerhood to preschool and through summer camp and after-school, the teachers and administrators have been warm, consistent, and truly invested in our kids. The low staff turnover speaks volumes, and the communication from the owner and team makes us feel supported every step of the way. Our boys genuinely love going to camp—playing with friends, going on field trips, and spending time with their teachers. As a parent, I couldn’t ask for more peace of mind. We started our 2.5 year old daughter at The Goddard School after a friend recommendation. We love Ms Whitney, Ms Nia and Ms Gaby! They have truly transformed our daughter from not knowing how to socialize with other kids to loving coming to school every day! I can't thank the staff enough for helping and caring for our daughter!
