However, as a parent, experiencing a sense of calm and reassurance knowing your child is in a safe environment provides immense relief. The atmosphere is welcoming, and every staff member exemplifies excellent leadership qualities. You won't hear staff raising their voices at the children. Instead, they consistently engage in fun activities and foster unity among the kids and families. I am always willing to go above and beyond for Sunshine Scholar Academy in New Bern because they have demonstrated that they are not merely a childcare center; they are family.

I love sunshine scholars and the whole staff is amazing to me and my daughter!

The biggest relief when walking into Sunshine Scholars is that you don't hear teachers yelling at the kids for crying or playing to loudly. The teachers are very kind and loving towards the children. They really listen to the children and to the parents who have concerns. They are very welcoming and that is a big relief for parents who are putting their children in daycare for the first time. My son who just started loves going there. He walks right in with no fuss. Another huge plus is the updates and photos you receive from the school. I love that and it's a huge relief for me knowing that my child who has separation anxiety is being well cared for. They keep everything cleaned and sanitized.The reviews for this school shows that this is a top rated school in New Bern and that is huge.

My daughter is 2 years old. She is a bilingual child and I was highly concerned about how would she perceive the target language being at the classroom among native speakers. But soon she started speaking English and my joy knew no bounds - all the concerns vanished.
As a parent I like that children are involved in different activities during the day: they do a lot of artworks, coloring, reading, dancing, singing songs and spend a lot of time outdoors. This is very important for the child's all-round development while parents are busy at work.
My daughter learned a bunch of new things here at Sunshine School: numbers, shapes, parts of the body, basic colors, some letters, days of the week and so on.
In addition, children are provided with delicious homemade meals daily.

Beautiful people , the teachers are some of the best people i've ever met ! They go above and beyond to meet the needs of children, my 1 year old can talk say several words and identify several colors and numbers! It makes me feel at ease when i drop my childten off and they aren't throwing tantrums or crying but instead running to sit on the teachers lap. The communication is generally good for the most part better than what it was when we started attending here ! I think the biggest down fall is the site admin . you would think that they would work with parents with their payments if something comes up instead they make it a hassle for you.. because truly we're all human and trying to make it through life and some months are harder than the others , but no instead you get a " don't drop them off until you pay " i cannot make money if i can't goto work so then the bill just...

As a teacher at Sunshine Scholars, I feel apart of a team. Our goal is to take care of the children and nurture them. We have fun and work hard.

Working here is a pleasure, everyday we strive to emotionally and physically meet each child’s needs. We are constantly working together to grow and thrive as one sound.

I am an infant teacher and I love working with them. I make sure they are safe. I engahe with them to provide them the fun they need. I make sure they know I love them.

I enjoy working here. Even on the challenging days, The children always find a way to teach me something new. I learn just as much from them as they do from me. It's not just a job, it's an experience that I look forward to everyday.

From my personal experience working at sunshine scholars academy as a teacher we are always doing our best to make sure every child need is met and that there adventure into our imagination with them is fun and memorable.
