I cannot express how grateful I am for Sunshine Schools! From the moment we enrolled our child, we felt welcomed and valued. The staff is incredibly attentive and nurturing, creating a warm environment where children can thrive.

The curriculum is engaging and age-appropriate, fostering not only academic skills but also social and emotional development. My child has made so many friends and always comes home excited to share what they learned each day.

The facility is clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. I also appreciate the regular communication from the teachers, keeping us updated on our child's progress and activities.

I do enjoy Sunshine scholars Academy. Your child is number one, so it is wonderful having a school like theirs that makes you feel at home. The staff is great and friendly. All staff are formiliar with every child enrolled at the academy. They have exciting events that occur every month. They show involvement which would make parents want involve themselves as well. They cover
0-12 years old. It's a great place for day care that transitions into pre k that transitions again into a after school care all in one place. Family friendly indeed. Read more >

This is a safe and great place to bring your kids.

The staff are super friendly here. They greet me and my lil one with smiles everyday and he enjoys going there.
He's been enrolled here for a year now and I've seen him thrive and grow up so much. They teach the lil ones just like they do the older ones. My 2year old loves it when you read to him now. He even interacts with you and turns the pages. Like I said he's grown up so much and I love how much they have helped him even with him being a little behind in speech. They allow the CDSA to come in and do his speech therapy. They have been helping him potty train as well.

I love this place because they love my baby just as much as I do. They treat all the youngins as if they were there's. Couldn't ask for a better place. Just my opinion but why don't you see for yourself? Read more >

My nieces attend Sunshine Scholars Academy in Ayden, and I was invited to Field Day, which I truly enjoyed. My children had a blast with the face painting, snow cones, and sliding down the water slide over and over again. I got to meet so many different families and had a great time with the kids. During the time my children have been attending Sunshine Scholars Academy in Ayden, their mother and I have been navigating a custody transition, including coordinating pick-ups, drop-offs, and splitting payments. I can definitely say the director and staff have been more than accommodating, understanding of our situation, and especially nurturing to my children when they need it most. I want to express my gratitude to the teachers at Sunshine Scholars Academy for being true team players in supporting my child's behavior, developmental milestones, transitions, and potty training. When my child first started, she was not speaking much, was very shy, and I struggled to transition her from using a bottle. With the help of the wonderful teachers, my child has thrived in her speech, loves to sing, has transitioned to drinking from a regular cup, and has made so many friends in her class. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the teachers at Sunshine Scholars Academy, especially in the Early Pre-K classroom. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and encouraging with potty training. Even though my grandkids were only there for summer camp, they had an amazing time. The director Ms. Horne was always friendly and available whenever needed, and the academy consistently offers parent events that the entire family can enjoy. I LOVE and APPRECIATE Sunshine Scholars Academy for multiple reasons. They have worked with my son and myself closely and are always helpful. Zalena is very proactive and on top of things. I love how she communicates any needs/wants/concerns/etc.. Cayce and Billy are amazing and so helpful with my son. I love dropping him off and being greeted by the staff, the kids also call me by my name, and it makes you feel like you are all one big family. I love picking my son up and seeing him so excited and eager to tell me about his day and what activity or trip they have planned for the following day. I love how clean the facility is. Absolutely love Sunshine Schools and all the staff. Marketia Stepney has been a saving grace for this mama! I never have to worry if my child is safe, clean, or happy! My daughter has learned and progressed so much in the short year she has been there. I am a single mom, I moved here knowing hardly anyone, and have always felt Sunshine’s was a safe and happy environment. Weekly activities and events bringing everyone together has also been a highlight. The school is full of love and I couldn’t be happier! We've been with SSA for almost a year now and we love it! The ladies at the front (directors) Mrs.HORNE & Mrs.STEPNEY are so kind and caring to the children as well as the TEACHERS.. I love how each classroom is set up to promote a safe learning environment for the kids, This center uses the PROCARE app allowing staff to provide updates to parents through out the day and allowing the parents to communicate with the staff as well. If you're looking for child care for your child ( SSA ) is the perfect place for you! My favorite part about this center is being able to be involved with my child's development while being at work. I love seeing updates on my phone and knowing exactly what she is doing while I'm at work, we love love love her teacher MRS.BRENDA !!
