We’ve had such a wonderful experience at LeafSpring! My son attended for the past two years and just graduated from Pre-K in June. The staff is absolutely incredible! They are caring, attentive, welcoming, and warm. They truly make the children feel loved and supported every single day. My son has grown tremendously here, both academically and socially, and he is more than ready for kindergarten thanks to the amazing foundation he received. We are so grateful for this community and are excited that our younger son will now get to attend as well!

We’re so grateful to have found LeafSpring Ballantyne. The administrative staff and teachers are dedicated and supportive. From the very beginning, the staff welcomed our family and made us confident that our children were in experienced and nurturing hands. It’s comforting to know our children are encouraged and gently cared for every day. The daily activities are well-structured with a mix of learning tailored to the individual child, play time, and art/creativity. The facility is thoughtfully designed with young kids in mind. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a preschool that holds its staff to high expectations and goes above and beyond for the children.

After touring over a dozen daycares in the area, we were excited to enroll our infant in LeafSpring’s daycare program. Ms. Essence is kind and professional and we look forward to an exciting first year of daycare for our baby.

Leaf Spring has been nothing short of amazing for our family. From the very first day, we felt welcomed into a community that truly cares about children and their families. Both of our kids, Finn and Lucy, have grown so much here — not just academically, but socially and emotionally. We absolutely love Leafspring at Ballantyne! From the moment we enrolled our 4-year-old, we’ve been blown away by the kindness, encouragement, and holistic approach to education. Having moved from out of town, we weren’t sure what to expect, but in just four months, we’ve seen incredible growth—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our child is thriving and well on his way to being Kindergarten-ready (with another year to go!), plus we’ve also noticed a positive shift in his behavior. The teachers are nurturing and dedicated, the front desk staff is warm and communicative, and the entire community is welcoming. We truly couldn’t ask for a better environment for our child’s early learning experience. We can’t wait to send our second child here when the time comes!

Shortly after moving to Charlotte I had to find a daycare facility for my kids. I was nervous about the experience as my kids had been in the same school since they were infants and change was scary to all of us. I scheduled a call with LeafSpring and it was the best decision I ever made. LeafSpring is more than a daycare center, it’s a place that prepares your kids for the future. They have a solid academic program that nurtured my kids’ natural curiosity paired with teachers that genuinely cares for the kids. I was also pretty excited about the fact that, unlike other centers, a LeafSpring has an in house chef that serves nutritious food everyday. For me, a picky eater mom, that meant my child saw everyone eating what he was eating, which aided his treatment tremendously.

We cannot say enough good things about LeafSpring Ballantyne. We were so sad when we moved out of state and had to leave LeafSpring. The entire staff and teachers provided a great experience and support especially for first time parents. The infant teachers and Ms Essence are one of a kind.

My 4 year old has attended two other schools/daycares prior to Leafspring & Leafspring is her favorite. Her teachers love her, and the staff, including those in the office and nurse. They take care of her, send updates on a daily basis, and make the kids feel seen, counted, loved, and listened to. We have not encountered a single teacher that didn't love her. She's had Ms. Emily, Ms. Zoe, Ms. Tina, Ms. Kristen, Ms. Crystal. They always show joy when they greet the children. This is also where she learned to talk, alleviating the need for speech therapy. We love this school, the teachers, and staff. It might actually be too much fun for the kiddos, one we can't match at home in terms of level of activity. From the day we opted for the wait-list, to enrolment, to day to day, they have helped and supported us. She made many friends here. Keep it up, one of the best in South Charlotte.

My son is 4 years old and we have reached out to LeafSpring after his previously attended pre-school shut down due to Covid in summer last year. LeafSpring was so helpful, understanding and patient with us as a newly enrolling family in this unusual time. Although my son does not do well transitioning he immediately fell in love with his new teachers and has talked about them kindly ever since. We were amazed by the academic progress he has made. He has learned all his letters, numbers, Science and Social Studies in Leafspring and has improved his communication skills and vocabulary. He has also developed socially and found new friends. He loves the outdoor space and playground and we appreciate having chef prepared meals and several extra curriculum activities.
